As a nurse, I’m so tired of her manipulation of using therapy,…that she won’t attend. Instead of proceeding with therapy, we constantly hear “I’m going to book a therapy appointment”, “I’m going to look for a therapist specializing in my issues”, “I’m doing the intake for therapy”. We don’t need to hear what she is GOING to do but never does. It’s always tomorrow with her. The diet starts tomorrow, therapy is next week, blah blah blah. Tomorrow never comes. It’s a way to manipulate her way out of her own self created chaos. When people see her for who she is and recognize her poor attitude and behaviour, she becomes a victim that is seeking help to get better. (Cue the mini violins.) Foodie badly needs therapy, but for it to work, she has to take it seriously and accept the fact her life is a mess and that her own actions have natural consequences.
