    They look great, but are very noisy. Air hits the piece that snaps in and has to go around it and out the small edge. Don't put these in a bedroom. Way too loud.

      Thanks for sending your comment through :D We get all our vents tested by a third party lab and have our airflow data on our website: ariavent.com/pages/air-flow-specs. It is always best practice to speak with an HVAC specialist prior to installing to ensure our vents are an optimal choice for your home. Take care.

      If the supply vent is noisy then the system static is to high. Larger ductwork may be required or there is the possibility that the branch run has some twists and turns that are causing excessive static for the airflow to pass through the run.

      @@tradesmanheatingandair4703 Everything was done by a high end installer in brand new home. I replaced these with regular vent covers and the noise level decreased significantly. Note that these modern covers cover most of the hole. There are two metal bridges in the metal (you can see them in the video) on which the middle piece hangs and they block air also. The metal insert is solid with no holes in it. It just snaps and and blocks the air flow, causing it to go through the outer open edges. So there is very little open surface area for the air to exit. These are just not designed for low noise. But they look good.

      I figured that would happen. Restrictions on air output creating more static pressure....

    Can this be used on tile. Finish with drywall first but place tile above that.
    Remodel my bathroom. Loos like it’ll be nice addition

    How much air flow is this designed for ?
    Looks like it’s blocking lot of air flow.

    How does that not restrict airflow?

    • @BrBill
      @BrBill 4 роки тому +1

      And how do you make it restrict more if it's too generous?

      @@BrBill well clearly, those flaps you bent inward could be bent back to help prevent too much intake (if that's such a thing)

      @@Topher2k4 Seems obvious. I don't remember why I thought it was an issue. Paranoid lockdown thinking, I guess.

      @Tony Velez - You can check our airflow data here: ariavent.com/pages/air-flow-specs. Also, @Br. Bill all our Pro models have built in dampers as @MyBeardIsBetterThanYours has pointed out. You can open or close them depending on how much airflow you want :) Cheers

    Do you have any that allow you to regulate airflow?
