That scene where they were taking pictures of her while she was tied up gave me a headache because the flashes were intense but I think the writers did that on purpose to make us see what celebrities go through on a regular basis
@@brianawaters2852 I was invested in the episode until they busted into her room and then turned into a stupid creature feature. I was disappointed this season but at least the first 4 seasons are good
I think Mazey did hit a warewolf and it was still alive after she fled the scene and that's why she didn't help it because she saw it wasn't human but by the time the police found it dead it was back to being a person
@@aaronbarlow4376They OBVIOUSLY were confused about that, so people in the comments are being nice in explaining it to them. No need to reply to each one for no reason other than to try to make people feel stupid.
I really enjoyed this one! I love how they explored the idea of the monstrous nature of the paparazzi and the monster inside Mazey Day: who is the real monster? simply brilliant! thanks for the reaction guys
I'm amazed how many reactors miss that she hit a werewolf straight after watching the flashback where she reaches out her hand to the hit and run victim and it's a werewolf that growls and snaps at her.
I felt like Bo wouldn't have taken that last photo, but then I thought about it more and realized part of the message is kindof how money drives them, money can make people do the craziest things and how even after all that happened she realized how much money she'd get for that shot
I think she was surprised when the cops said someone hit a man, because she probably hit the werewolf when it was a wolf and then transformed back to a human when he died?
@@aaronbarlow4376a LOT of people don't know werewolf lore apparently. Seems to be a 90's kids and older kinda knowledge. Probably because of all the books, movies, and tv shows that featured them. Most Gen Z were too young to be interested in Twilight and werewolf/vampire popularity died out with those films
I especially hated the so called twist A twist should be unexpected, but when you see it, you should go "oh of course, things make sense now" Doing something that doesn't fit the story, but is unexpected? It's not really a twist that's just lazy writing. The attempt at social commentary in this episode was very lame.
People are hating on this episode but I personally loved this one!! It actually had a black mirror message and the twist at the end was so ridiculous and batsh*t crazy it was so much fun!
I don't think any of the Black Mirror episodes are poor, this was a solid season. The whole transforming into the werewolf reminded me of The classic Amercian Werewolf in London by John Landis. I know Charlie Brooker is a huge fan of The Twilight Zone and Tales of the Unexpected, and this season pays homage to those programmes before I feel. Just beautifully written and executed. Great video by the way, you guys are killing it.
.......I'm puzzled at why you're puzzled about the "man" being the person she hit. Theoretically, when a werewolf dies, it goes back to its original shape ........she hit the body with her car, got out, checked and it was a werewolf - still alive, and it died a few hours later, when the body was found, it was a "man" - back to its original form. I thought everyone knew that.
I red one analysis that the ending was allegory to princess Diana's death. The paparazzi's just filmed her and didn't help her, when she was lying in the car. The last thing she saw was flashing lights of paparazzi's. Horrible, the thought has been hounting me the whole day. 😢
I definitely think the metaphor of celebrities being the prey for the paps, switched to the paps being prey for this celeb, was interesting. And funny…
I like this episode more each time I see a reaction to it. It's still my least favorite of the season, but see the commentary on humanity and respect it.
Paps before the 2010s were terrible. They’re still bad now but they were especially awful back then. Thankful now with the rise of social media, their jobs have become essentially worthless.
They were even worse in the 80's and 90's. Paparazzi leading to princess Di's death really changed how majority of the Paps operate. Most of them really toned it back.
This episode is my least favorite of the season but it's not bad it's just kinda mid. I do love that the crazy Hollywood alternative medicine doctor turns out to be right lol
You don’t know anything about werewolves they always turn back into people so after it died it turned back into a person that’s why they found a man on the street not a werewolf.
I was wondering that too while watching the episode. And I think other black mirror characters have also lick their own blood when they cut themselves accidentally. I always just wipe mine

I literally had to look away, I couldn't take it. I wouldn't want that life, UGH!
According to the lore, when you kill a werewolf, it returns to its human form. That's why they found a man's body on the road.
Obviously.
as soon as they played supermassive black hole, i suspected we were going in a supernatural direction 😭 the twilight fan is deep within me
No literally same at first I thought she was gonna be a vampire and the when they showed her transformation I started busting out laughing
It made me think of the baseball scene but I didn't think it was gonna go that way lol
@@brianawaters2852 I was invested in the episode until they busted into her room and then turned into a stupid creature feature. I was disappointed this season but at least the first 4 seasons are good
Such a good song though. Love Muse.
I wonder if they didn't choose that song on purpose. And we all know the hell both twilight's actors lived with paparazzi

Exactly. That's why she was surprised when her driver told her they'd found a man on the road.
@@jonathanpowell7256 I didn't even piece that together
WHOOOOOAAA

Rob's facial expressions during this episode were the best.
This plot twist had me floored, and werewolves are my favorite cryptid so I was very happy to see one in Black Mirror!
This episode pissed me off lmao😂 love y’all’s reactions as always

this episode reminds me so much of American Horror Stories. not the main series, the one that has a different story every ep
Love this episode. But it should be labeled a Red Mirror episode because of the super natural element
We will always support you all. Keep working hard.
if it’s like tvd killing someone triggers a werewolf curse so maybe when she hit that guy it triggers ii
idk why i took that last scene as Bo taking the photo to give Mazey her own ending
Guyssss don't you know basic werewolf lore!? If a werewolf dies it turns back into its human form

that was one of the worst eps from Black mirror to me but I can't deny it had a good plot twist
