The heroine of this sad story found herself in a difficult situation: on the one hand, everyone envied her successful marriage, but on the other hand, no one knew how she was literally fighting for her life every day.
Our heroine was envied by many: her beauty was indescribable, her successful husband made others swoon, and their family life seemed perfect. But when the couple were alone, his true face replaced the mask of a perfect husband.

Soon the heroine got some happy news: she was expecting a baby. But when her husband found out that she was pregnant with a girl, he was beside himself and started treating his wife even more coldly. And when the heroine decided to leave him, her husband threatened to take her daughter away from her. Why? He didn't even need her... He knew how to take revenge on his wife.

A moment the partner tells you forget about the things you are doing and preventing you from going out that is a sign that you should leave now. No one should be brought down for who they are. Tyrants do this to make themselves have more power because they know that they are lower than their partner or anyone else. Everyone has insecurities but some take it the wrong way by hurting others to make them feel worse.
He's verbally abusive, manipulative & controlling. 3 things I hate in a person. I'm glad she left him cause had she stayed, both she and her daughter would have been miserable

Always look out for signs, even tiny part of it, can shown the part of that person's personality. Sometimes even their clothes, depending on how they acted.
Dont fall in love quickly because its will blinded u to see their true color and they (abusers) will take advantage of it and used it against u.

He never would have been able to just take her baby and give her up for adoption without signed papers from her 😠
And somehow women are allowed to give their kids up for adoption, without the father's consent.

The moment she married him she was trapped, not letting her see her mother before she died, don't even care about the baby and didn't even make the effort to take care of them that was a sheer cut sign she should have left him a long time ago I don't care if he tried give her gifts she should have said no because that's was a manipulation tactic right there
That's one of the I chose not to marry . Especially as of what's going on in this world . I love my independence .

My mom when I was 12 allowed me too watch What's Love Got to Do with It, an then we talked about the movie regarding Tina Turner's earlier life.
It helped my Mom before I was though of volunteered in Battered Shelters for Women.
I think what stood out for me was the constant gift giving along with the emotional and isolation the Spouse used against the Wife.
In the early 90's a comedy series on ABC "Grace Under Fire" starring comedian Brett Butler dealt with the gift giving aspect that tends to happen with Abusers.
Brett Butler in the Show dealt with Alcoholism, Depression, and Domestic Violence being a single mother raising three kids by herself.
A man like him doesn’t deserve her. He should be charged with abuse and be locked away. I hope one day this woman finds an ideal man and divorced that monster once he’s in jail.
The minute he said to quit my job that would've been our first fight and tell me I couldn't see my mother yeah that would've been the divorce right there and then . I have been in a few abusive relationships but I never let any man come between my mother and my job .
That man should be forbidden from seeing her daughter.
The young mother will need a good attorney so she can file for divorce , full child custody , and terminate the father's parenting rights .

This relationship was exactly what happen to me. My husband was so controlling and i did everything he wanted which was to stay home and a house wife and then he stated saying things to fegrade me. Then I trued to have a baby hoping to help dave the family, but it did not work, so I ended up divorced him and left with the baby. He was a narsisist. He wanted somebody to control and serve him, not marry you to love and care for you.

Honestly she should had realize the moment the way how he was talking to her. Always be aware of red flags and stay two steps ahead. Moment he threatened her taking her daughter she should record it take it too court. If your in a violent relationship call the cops before it gets even worse.
This was alowdown, violent, manipulative jerk who wanted take custody of his daughter by terrorizing his spouse. She would file for divorce and get even with him eventually!!!

Leaving is not easy when you have no family who will take you in, no car, and no money. Trapped.
Well thank goodness (even though it was difficult thanks to the threats) it could’ve gone more violent and not only would he take her daughter he could’ve lied and said that she’s the bad guy. And likely used his daughter as a punching bag if she were to grow up in the same place as him.
I could see in his face from before she married him what he was going to turn out.
I am happy for her she left him and find wonderful life. he do not deserve her.

I once watched a movie called the burning bed. It was about a woman being abused by her husband, she'd take her kids and leave but that man would get her to come back again and again. Eventually she'd felt her only recourse was to wait until he was passed out drunk, get her and the kids clothes into the car, get the kids in, and then she went back and dumped gas all over him and their bed. She set him on fire and left. She had to face trial later and was found not guilty. It was based on a true story if I remember correctly.
It was tough to watch but if girls of a dating age were to watch it I think they'd be able to see the warning signs and avoid becoming a victim too.

The husband is the worst, he treated his wife like she is some kind house maid, after watch this I feel pity for the wife is she have to know about her love one then she could marry if he's truly love her back and in the end she couldn't file the divorce on him so she have to run away with the baby on her. In the end she got help from a kind stranger and have a happily life.

I think I see the other problem. Leon wanted his wife all to himself. He didn't want her seeing anyone else, because he thought she'd leave him. Well, now we've seen that she would've left him either way.
It's just unbelievable & amazes me how much a woman will put up with when it comes to men. Don't get me wring, l love men but l know some of them can be stinkers.
