    Synopsis:
Finney Shaw is a shy but clever 13-year-old boy who's being held in a soundproof basement by a sadistic, masked killer. Ethan Hawke is so sweet. He might have not liked playing a villain and he may have played it all too convincing, but the young actor Mason Thames, who played Finney, said that Ethan was always so nice to him and that Ethan always asked Mason if he was ok after they filmed the intense scenes together and Ethan playfully patted Mason's head afterwards. Ethan always made the scary scenes comfortable and fun for the Mason so the boy never got frightened or creeped out during the scenes. I find that so precious.

Its a horror/thriller film that doesnt need a lot of jump scare to make it scary. What makes this film great was their performance and great directing. Love it!

This movie promotes violence, necromancy and extreme irreverence toward the name of Jesus..THERE IS REALLY NOTHING to be proud of this film when it comes to what I mentioned above. It is a waste of talent. This world glorifies exactly what they don’t want to happen to them. Well you say: it’s just entertainment dude chill out!!! In real life when you loose a child to a killer it is NOT entertainment…
