Don’t forget you can use the small storage areas under both front seats. Roll your seats all the way up and move your floor mats. I had no idea they were there.
I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee. And I realize this video is 2 years old so you've already done whatever you were planning. But for me, I considered getting a rooftop tent for my Jeep. But after shopping around, I decided against it. The maximum weight capacity for the roof of the Grand Cherokee is 150 lbs. Many RTTs weigh more than that. Plus rooftop tents are quite expensive. I ended up buying a Thule cargo box. The box weighs 44 lbs. leaving me with 106 lbs. of cargo I can carry. I do a lot of camping so I put my tent, sleeping bag, mats, Gym bag, cook stove, things like that in the cargo box. I liked your enthusiasm you had anticipating your journey. I hope it was everything your hoped it would be.
I work graveyard and sometimes my wife likes to come with me. so we bought a blow up bed and set it up in the back of our 15 jeep srt it’s super comfy & fits perfectly. Can also store it where the spare tire goes
Use a pool float with a pillow area on it and just put a sheet on it. I do the same thing in my little beater truck when I go camping with some buddies.
Man that a great idea that you have and I watch Mav videos, that guy is a legend. Im just thinking that the Jeep may be a little to small, jmo, maybe should have gotten a extended cad truck like Mav and put a topper on it so you had more room., but I hope this works out for you and maybe when you get closer to VA, I can make it to an event you're at.
Yeah he’s got the 3.6 L V6, not a very reliable engine or very good known engine. Would’ve been better the the 4 L v8. Jeeps aren’t known for reliable with the v6 unfortunately
Why don’t you put roof racks and extended one that got to the back of the jeep and put a camper on it they have pre built campers like that that goes on vehicles for off-road and can take those modifications
DUDE...I just bought an 02 Chevy Avalanche on Wednesday with the SAME thoughts in mind. The 4 door lockable, hard tonneau cover you can walk on and chill out on and sleep under with lots of room for myself and gear. This 5.3LS powered 4X4 will also tow a car or nearly anything else I would want to. It's cool we had similar ideas to hang with the street car crowds huh?

You should bring the vette up to powercruise usa this year good times
That Jeep transmission is gonna fail soon pulling that corvette.
That where I got my genesis coupe 3.8
Should of bought the truck better for towing.
Id tint the back darker bro
Like my buddy did some similar build to 2 UA-camrs @Ronny Dahl and @ ozark overland adventure with his jeep
Have fun with that transmission and ground cables
You gotta go to the Motor City
I would have went with a transit van but that's just me.
I would be terrified pulling a car trailer with that suv ....not sure it would be strong enough to handle it
That jeep won’t be able to handle all that pulling you should of got a truck
I hate burgundy
I hate cold mashed potatoes.
