LORE
I went on my annual family vacation last week and returned on the Fourth of July weekend, so I got an extra long vacation. While on vacation, I got the desire to make some music and made this little piece.
I named it "sunshower" because it reminded me of glittering raindrops pattering on the ground illuminated by the sun. Originally, I was going to name it "morning dew" since I was trying to capture sparkling dew in the morning.

ma man just casually dropped banger
thanks ! :D i'm glad you liked it
Sounds like someone running. Very Nice!
My favorite part had to be around 1:30. The way you started slamming those keys gave the song such feeling!
thank you! slamming keys is always fun; i couldn't resist doing it :D
this is very nice mr bigg milk man
i love it
keep up the great work! cant wait to see what else you make in the future :D
thanks, biinoo, I'm glad you liked it :D
This sounds awesome ! You’re really underrated imo
thank you! i appreciate it :)
woah! the beginning sort of reminds me of Debussy's "The Snow is Dancing". I feel like this piece would pair up pretty well with some modern oil painting, something vibrant and vaguely impressionistic. I love when it gets playful at around 0:23, it sounds very neat and delicate - similar to the Toccata from Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin!
I love the syncopation between the melodic line and accompaniment at 0:48, it's like rocks being carried along light cresting waves. Very nice! Again, I love how playful it gets in certain sections, very sparkly piano writing which of course I love very much!
The main climactic part at 1:30 is also very effective in building on previously-established themes and musical aesthetics, not reducing the momentum at all and in fact adding even more energy, creating a sense of euphoria which I always love.
Overall, lovely piece, can't wait to hear more from you!
thank you so much, starkeeper! :D
i was definitely inspired by impressionist music like Ravel's but didn't have a specific piece in mind. though, I love Le Tombeu de Couperin, especially the orchestrated version of it! (the first moment is probably my favorite)
also, I liked the syncopation too! i don't think I use it enough :)
i think I've said this before, but I love the way you describe music-it's so creative and visual!
that motif is really catchy... amazing!
thank you so much! :D
Thats a lot of RAM!! Also the arpegios on this are truly interesting. Amazing!
thanks! :D
i think all of my music plugins at full power take up at least like 40 GB of RAM, so it was kind of necessary. i actually meant to only go up to 64 GB while leaving possibility for 128, but i forgot that plan and bought 128 instead lol
im happy you have better RAM now haha
and the right hand is so cool like the fluttering effect
thanks! for the right hand, i think i was inspired by Ravel. from what I recall, i think he uses a lot of those more decorative, sparkling runs/arpeggios between melodic notes :D
The master of lactation has returned to us
indeed
gorgeous, it really feels like being bathed in warm sunlight. i'm always amazed at your composition skill.
congrats on the pc upgrade!
thank you, ninevolt! :D can't wait to see how many instruments i can load at once now >:)
