Dude Keith thank you! Glad to send you my old maxima for a runner for your track if you’re interested but be warned it needs so much love - kinda like adopting a 3-legged cat I guess 😄
Great to see you Wade! 👍Awesome unscripted video with no cuts. Both cars are awesome finds, i’m so envious. Between the two, I like the Lazer a bit more. I wonder how it compares against a Rocky.
Thank you Terence I’m also curious about whether the Rocky could have been competitive against some of the other 4wd offerings back in the day - the 2 things I think kinda might have limited the Rocky on the track is the steering setup is kinda weak and the suspension arms are kinda short as well. Maybe the chain woulda been a headache too 🤷♂️ I asked doctor mosfet if he ever considered taking a Rocky to VONATS and he was kinda like… nah 😄
Some people have a face that you’d be surprised to see for the first time if you’ve only ever heard their voice for a while - I think my face is just as dumb looking as my voice sounds so hopefully i didn’t shock anyone 😄
Hi Ya Wade! Great to see one of my RC UA-cam friends get behind the camera too. Great to see you out there my friend. I need to create a response video as I know I owe you my friend. Also could I have Keith hit you up for your old Maxima? He's stateside also and has a deep appreciation for the PB cars and could do with a runner.
Jason get me an address and I’ll send it on its way to Keith - just let him know not to expect much like I said it’s pretty rough though it could be driven as is - the shocks on it now are more for show than anything else, but I might have some extras…👍👍👍
Hello! New sub. Just spent a while cruising through your channel. Love your collection! I'm 44 and started racing as a kid in 88' with a gold pan RC10. Now im an old rc addict with too many cars and at least 14 projects going at once. Im a lexan painter, builder, collector and anything else rc or slot. Glad to see you sharing your stuff. I've got plenty of vintage stuff I plan to post videos of. You and a couple other guys are really making me motivated to get some stuff out there. I've got a couple Lazers myself. Cool car for sure. Keep up the great videos.
Hey man thank you so much I can’t wait to see what you’re working on as well!!! Not to hate on when anyone else grew up of course but there was something so special about being an 80s kid and RC cars - we were so lucky 😊 i can’t remember exactly when or how I got rid of my first gold pan I feel like it might have been 90/91 ish, maybe I traded it for a diamond back bmx or something 🤷♂️
@@wadeskelton7585 great to hear back from you! Thanks for taking the time. Man, unfortunately for me I remember exactly when I lost my first RC10 and my 2nd car, a Jrx2 but that was just a small portion of what I lost that day. It's a long story but I rented a storage unit in Norfolk, VA. It was on automatic payments. The people working the office knew it was full of expensive furniture, antique tools, RC cars, etc. They stopped taking payments which I didn't notice for a couple of months. They lied about sending notices, the whole 9. Sold my unit out from under me. By the time I noticed what happened everything was long gone. They caught the office staff doing this to several people. They were arrested and charged. I sued and got a settlement from the storage company but I still lost everything. This was about 2007. I've been rebuilding my collection over the years but those first cars I'll never get back. At least I have a couple pictures of them. You're so right though. RC back then was something different. Glad I got to grow up with it. I'll definitely be in the comments and I'll get some stuff up for you to check out. I love that you have some of the more obscure cars. That side of my collection definitely needs some work. I've got probably 30 cars or so. It's a mix of true vintage and re release cars. Of course I have a mint gold pan and mint JrxPro. Had to get some of the childhood back. Ha ha. Well, I won't keep you too long but I'm glad to hear from you and glad to keep finding more rc addicts like me. Have a great one 👍
:) Nice buggies and nice work making an RC video. Turn the radio or TV off next time, it will make it easier for us to listen to you. Keep it up!
Thank you Gavin I don’t know what I was thinking the TV was so loud I had the scissor brothers on 😄 sorry!!
Wow, my first racing buggy in 1992 was the Lazer ZX. Upgraded to a Lazer ZX-R in 1993.
Awesome kit's....👌
It’s nuts to think they’re that old right (and that we are too 😄)?!? That must’ve been an amazing time to be around the racing scene!
Very cool project builds
Thank you for checking them out brother ☺️
Hi Wade! It is nice to see you!
Love your videos as always.
G man so nice of you to say that I’m interested to hear what you’ve been up to lately. I know you must have scored a hirobo jealousy or 2 by now 😄
Wow wow Wade is da man! So cool to see your new video. Perfect Lazer and PB! 🎉🎉🎉
How can I be the man if you’re the man?!? 😄😄
Awesome to see you! Great to have both of you in view. You are going to love that Lazer. Nothing like a pb car. Enjoy that Maxima.
Dude Keith thank you! Glad to send you my old maxima for a runner for your track if you’re interested but be warned it needs so much love - kinda like adopting a 3-legged cat I guess 😄
Anybody remember the FWD Kyosho Maxxum? It dominated the 2wd class so it got moved to 4wd where it got spanked.

You should talk to Jason if you are going to run the Maxima. There are some easy mods that should be done. The belt tension screw can be a problem.
I’ve heard they can be hard to keep adjusted - I ran my old one so no plans to run this one I don’t think. If I do I’ll definitely seek help first 👍👍👍
Nice video man!!
Thank you brother you inspired me to stop being a chicken 🙏
very very cool buggies, look awesome 👌👍😀😎😎
Thank you brother - they won’t look so cool after I put paint & stickers on them 😄
Wow nice to put a face with your voice! Great video!
I always was intrigued by the Kyosho ZX! Awesome to see that you have one!
