@@euroasianbob9268 I drove a couple of those things 20 or 30 years ago. Watching April shift gears, I know yours must have been a deluxe model, (maybe US-only???). None of the ones I drove had synchromesh beyond 1st gear - you had to double-clutch every time. Which was a lot of fun if you were trying to accelerate uphill 😖. Edit: What am I talking about - it's right-hand drive, obviously not meant for sale in the US.
I stumbled onto Hoovies garage a couple of years ago. I have been a fan ever since. But I have to say I absolutely enjoy watching these two together. April is the total package. Beauty, brains talent and love for Tyler. Keep up the good work you guys load your content
What a FUN review ! Must say NEVER have we seen April smile from start to finish on April Garage videos. The costumes were PRICELESS. MUST INCLUDE them with the sell of car.
If April is as dyslexic as she says then she's done really well in life. An EMT certification. A Cardiovascular tech license. Counselor. Acting. Modeling. Working at Barret Jackson. And UA-camr! I've only got mild dyslexia and she's done better than me. Well done April. 😀👍
I couldnt agree more. As a mild, I think, Dyslexic my self, I once had an encounter with a young lady on a telephone whilst I was reserving concert tickets. She was soo sweet, I wanted to reach down the phone to give her a hug. Then she thanked ME for being so patient??

@@Slikx666 Yes, I can identify with that. I am very patient. My friends were astounded to watch me teach their daughter the finer points of Ham Radio and solving complex problems presented by the examining body. We all have different strenghts. Mine is in engineering & Music.
Watching April’s journey to learn and drive a manual transmission car is a fun little storyline. Would like to suggest another sub-storyline where we get to watch Tyler (and maybe April too), learn how to wrench a bit more on their cars. Seeing Tyler fail and learn that would be fun.
This is so great. My dad bought one when we moved to Portugal for two years. Rather hilly , spectacular and interesting place, especially if you enjoy the smell of eucalyptus. He would start it up from the town to take us home to the village. Start it up, get to speed, then shut it off and roll all the way home. The most memorable ride in that car was when I had to go to the hospital for an emergency Appendix operation at 8 years old. The most funny was that on the downhill parts, he would just shut it off and gravity made it faster than it's actual top speed. Great video and memories. If I could find one in Canada, I would add it for shits and giggles.
In the late 70s I drove a few Fiat Spider roadsters with the same drivetrain. When it came time to replace the clutch we unbolted the motor and I picked it up & took it out! I got one up to 90 mph once, one of the scariest drives of my life.
The Fiat 600 was licensed to be manufactured in Yugoslavia as the Zastava 750 and was widely known by its nickname "Fićo”. My parents had one before I was born and said I was conceived in one. I had the pleasure to travel 500km to a sea side holiday in one with 6 people in it. You could only go 35km/h up hill in one.
Uncle had a white one in Macedonia in the 90s. It was hilariously slow. Wheel fell off while we were driving on the highway and he had to stop every 30 mins to fill it with water to cool it down. It was overheating. Nonetheless a fun experience as a 11 year old at the time.
I thing that forward stalk that you were wondering about is the Highbeam lowbeam switch. That is the indication that you want to pass someone in Italy so you really need that even the daylight hours. Oh and the Romance question. The seats on most Italian cars go down all the way flat and the leg room is perfect for extracurricular activities.
In abou 1958 to 1961 dad was a parts/service manager and mechanic for Fiat in Oregon City, Oregon. Owners used to drop theri cars by our house and he would take them to work for service or repairs. One of those cars was a 1959 Square Body 1200 Spyder we enjoyed on several weekends when it was left with us. It became my first sports car when they bought a 1962 Comet from dad after he started selling cars. I wish I had VIN number 000084 back again today. It was part of the first Square Bidies to arrive on North American shores. We enjoyed 500's, 600's, Mulitplas, and my 1200 Spyder when they were at the house.
The spanish version of that car (Seat 600) was the car that motorized the country, as the Beetle did in Germany and the Ford model T in the USA, for instance.
What an awesome car! My parents had one in Argentina when I was 5 same 600 and also red. Fiat built them in Argentina, it was very common to put the hinge spacers so it wouldn’t overheat or the poor man version was a 2x4 keeping the trunk open. I rented and drove the 500 version in Tuscany and those things are great If you squint really hard you are actually driving a rear engine Italian coupe 😂😂
My parents had a 600 in the same colour as this when I was a kid. Dad made us kids push against the front seats whenever he wanted to overtake another car.
I'd love to see you do a video on the original Morgan 3-wheeler - the one with the Harley engine on the front. It's just such an absurd and visceral driving experience - I love it :)
60mph! It's much faster than my ride today. I think I may have hit 39 mph with the 1923 Model T depot hack today. It still covered 150 miles today. Fun times. 🎉
This is a "fitito" as we call in Argentina. It was manufactured in Argentina for the region from 1960 to 1982. For many, it was the mother's car. Beautiful car. Greetings to both!
When the USAF sent me to Japan in 1984, i bought a 1970-something Mitsubishi Minica that I suppose was similar to the Fiat 500/600. It had a 360cc 2-stroke engine that was surprisingly peppy, as long as I remembered to add a certain fuel additive.
Here in My country (Argentina) was built i think almost until The early 80s....awesome car many are still alive. Either You ir Bob should get a Fiat 1100 😊
I had a friend who drove one of those from Idaho to Massachusetts and back….it was a great little thing but of course it was a proper LHD. the only tires we could find that fit were from sears and were boat trailer tires. … ah the memories. It led me to buying a fiat 850 coupe, which was also a great little car.
That reminds me of a 36 horse VW I had back in the late 70's. You absolutely HAD to flog the snot out of it in order to not get run over by other vehicles.
The 600 is a workhorse, I’ve seen a guy using the one he bought in the late 60s. That car was used in valle d’aosta to haul tools, woos and whatever stuff needed to be moved. The only modification done was a some sort of lift kit to fit off road wheels
Wait, wait, wait. How does April memorize literal binders worth of information before car auctions if she suffers from dyslexia? Holy crap, that sounds like an impossible task! Maybe it's a blessing if she can't read the comment section though. 🤣
