    I'm in law enforcement and use this belt on a daily basis. It hasn't failed me yet and is very convenient and durable. I love how stiff it is. It helps my back by evenly distributing the weight on the belt.

    Great review, thank you! My Kore Essential competition belt arrived yesterday and is similar to this belt. I'm really looking forward to using after seeing this video.

    The Kore battle belt is hardcore! I have tried so many different types of gun belts, from the traditional leather of several types to double thick glued-up scuba webbing and the marriage of leather and scuba webbing. There is no 1.75” belt out there that equals the Kore battle belt. The incremental adjustment track is genius. There is only one thing that could make it better and that is if they would make a full 2-inch version.

    Thank you for your video. I already have a "civilian" version if this belt for EDC carry and I am completely satisfied. At the moment I am choosing a battle belt so you helped me to decide ;-)

    Great video much appreciated. I am making the move from road patrol to a full time training spot and was trying to decide which way to go.

    The ratchet buckle is a huge advantage over the more common "set it and forget it" cobra-style buckle - I use a Core Battle Belt as my "bump in the night" rig, so wanted something that would work equally well for a pair of jeans or a pair of pajamas, and the adjustability is key.
    A comment on the inner belt - there is a thinner / flexible section that allows for the outer belt to be tightened, and other inner belts may not work as well. Glad to see Kore upgraded the inner belts, the first version was very thin and useless as a standalone belt. The newer belts have the same rigidity as their regular EDC rigs, and work well on their own (like when you're driving to the range etc).

    I have wore mine on duty for a year pluse. No issues. I also paired it with a Wilder Tactical belt pad and it works great. I run this as a K9 handler in a mixture of environments and have had no issues.

    I've had mine for about 10 months now. Use it as my duty belt. Would absolutely recommend it. Have never needed a single belt keeper. I've had guys try to pick on me about trying to hard to be a "ninja", but I couldn't care less. It's comfortable, less maintenance, and it WORKS.

      how have you found the inner belt; do you wear it looser than normal? or do you wish it had a ratchet also.

    • @MrHemps11
      @MrHemps11 8 місяців тому

      @downunderprepparedness I have to wear the inner belt pretty tight too, but that's because the waist on my pants is too big (hard to find 31" waist pants). The metal clip for the cut end didn't want to stay on for me, but it doesn't bother me. I leave it off since that end is burnt anyway to keep from fraying.

    Super helpful review, definitely helped get me over the hump on my purchase decision for Black Friday weekend 😎. Thank you, keep up the great reviews! And stay safe on patrol... as former LE, I appreciate you being out there! 💪

    I got mine along with a whole Dara holster set up. Best belt ever. I never knew I needed it until I got it. Love this belt! Best I ever had next to my blue force gear.

    You mentioned a pain to have to cut it yourself. Being a skinnier person that is super picky. I absolutely love that feature. Being able to have the exact amount of hangover you want is just the best. My other option was AttackPak. But they make you pick a certain measurement and making sure you’re ordering the correct one can be even more difficult. Kore for life! Also. You didn’t touch on why the inner belt has that different end. It’s able to collapse on itself when tightening outer. Instead of bunching up.

    Kore Essentials and Nexbelt are my favorite 2 brands. Nexbelt is my EDC in casual, Kore for my “nice” belts when I need to tuck in my shirt. But I will only use ratcheting belt from now and forever.

    Several cops in our dept wear that belt on duty and are always showing off at lunch time when they let it out. I might need to try this.

    Yes you need the inner belt to adjust the outer belt properly, The 2 belts work in unison. I have an od green version and its damn tough. Worth the money for me.

    Thank you for the review! I wanted to ask, how is the ratchet/buckle holding up?

  • @A_Qwynide
    @A_Qwynide 9 місяців тому

    the thing about the inner belt is that it has no buckle on buckle, AND the little holes are intentional to allow it to shrink and expand with the outer belt, so it doesnt bulge between your waist and the outer or fight the outer from being able to tighten

    Tasmanian Tiger is a German brand. We have them in basically all our tactical stores. And they’ll probably ship to the US no problem. Try ASMC or TrippleAction or Kotte und Zeller or Tacwrk

    Take note: the inner belt on these kore battle belts is a necessity as they allow you to expand and tighten the belts in and out. The material in the front of the inner belt allows for that. Traditional inner belts are solid velcro over velcro that are locked in place. I wear mine 2-3 satiurdays at the range just outside phoenix.

    I have seen a lot of "push" on UA-cam for these belts....most of them with the same text...underlining the same points...- the ratchet system...
    What I don't see, it's a review after a consistent time under usage...so,most of the "reviews" are actually hyping of this belt.
    The ratchet system is actually the failure point of this belt. The moment you are going to roll on it - 2 possible situations :
    1 It's going to press on the release button (it's doing that when you crunch on it) ,so your belt is going to loosen on you
    2 You might get pebbles or mud/dirt in the opening system and it's going to get stuck
    What I don't know yet is - how long the "teeth " - the ratchet, is going to hold under pressure from a strong pull...repeatedly ..More tests needed here
    You want to buy it - do it- it's your money- anyone who served knows that only time shows the problems that may appear on no matter what object...with these being said - options are always good.

    Another hardcore Kore fan! I did not know they made ratchet belts with molle. Is that 1.75" or 2" wide? This brand is kickass. Theres a few competitors but none are as good and they just trail behind like parasites.

    It’s a crap belt! There are better options out there. The ratchet system falls apart after time. Ares edc and Baer solutions etc for range belt.

    • @montanaplease
      @montanaplease Місяць тому

      Ares sucks donkey balls.
      I owned one for 2 years and so many times especially when I really had to go to the bathroom the buckle would not release.
      I’ve had the Kore now for 3 years and it’s a way better belt in every single way including cheaper price.
      The ratchet system is probably just is good as the day I started wearing it probably over 1,000 times so far
