The Heat finally are accumulating talent and having multiple 1st round draft picks playing on the court: Bam, Herro, Jovic, Jaquez… and media/fans want to trade that all in and watch vet minimums and undrafted guys?!?… make it make sense…. They complain about being small and then talk about trading their whole team for the smallest guys in the ENTIRE league 🙄

What are you talking about, this roster is trash. Jimmy is to old, Herro sucks, Duncan is fragile, Rozier is overrated by Heat fans. Bam is their best player and he has too much on his plate. Young guys are good value guys but not stars.
I've been trying to figure it out myself, and I agree with you on that. We have youth and talented players. Even at 35, Jimmy would still baby both Jason and Jalen. With everyone's health and getting more playing time together, we will get easier basketballs.

@@jimmyjay689 exactly! As long as every team keeps losing their best player Boston will definitely win! The most unimpressive championship in the history of the NBA. No one is impressed by Boston or Tatum for that matter… oh a behind the back pass?! Herro does that all the time
It may pain some heat fans who think making trades is as easy as playing NBA 2k, but at this point we kinda have to play it slow and build up our team and draft picks back up. Of course try to find some options for “cheap” but we need to try to play for the long game with out younger talent

Dallas isn't that big. Gafford is bams height along with pj. Luka is 6'7 and most every other player is 6'5 or smaller. Dallas would have lost to Denver, they got pretty lucky this year. Coin flip finals just because lively is probably concussed and Luka is playing through a bunch of injuries

Adding more inefficient scorers like Rozier and Kuzma won’t make them a contender…. You need a scorer that distort the defense or you are not a contender. You are not a contender without a Doncic, Ant, Jokic, Tatum, or a healthy Embiid, Zion, maybe Morant…. It has always been that way…. There are only a few teams that won rings without a top 5 player(s) in their prime…. -think of the rings: Magic 5, Bird 3, Isiah 2, MJ 6, Shaq 4, Lebron 4, Kobe 5, Curry 5, Duncan 5, 36 years of rings - 9 players…. One off teams had Dr J & Malone, Gianni’s, Kawhi, R Wallace, Jokic, KG & Pierce, Dirk…. 45 years of history tells us that we aren’t winning or even contenders with Bam and Jimmy as our top 2 players….
Build the best roster possible and let Spo cook.
Why build just like the most top heavy team in the league ? No bench just doesn’t make any sense .
Mavs are top heavy and so is Boston and they both will be in the finals u need stars to win championships not the deepest bench. it's really overrated

@@floridaboy5606 2014 we had lebron but Wade was older and lost a step by then we didn’t know it yet . 2020 we had Jimmy and Goran/Bam got hurt we could’ve still won those series but when you top heavy you run the risk injury taking you completely out of contention no team win with a top heavy team approach is sustainable . I.e big 3 (heat & kg Celtics)

Heat are not going to invest more on this build. It seems obvious. They have the 7th highest payroll, invested in a fat useless malcontent in Kyle Lowry and probably realize that Tyler just isn’t that good. I think the run it back next season and try to do something the season after when they have a chunk of expiring contracts including Jimmy and Duncan. They can then move on from Tyler also. Otherwise they would have done something already. A crap offensive team and hope for playoff Jimmy is not a sound strategy so they will keep making salary moves and run it back next season.
Those teams weren’t built to beat Lebron they was just building. Lebron hadn’t won anything yet so there was no reason to build to beat him yet. Maybe 08 Celtics but that was just old and tryna win together cuz Celtics wasn’t even on the radar…. This is from a Heat fan too
In the next 2 seasons, JJJ will be better than Butler because he is younger and Butler was never the player at 24 years old what JJJ is now.

Everytime in the last 5 years we got eliminated it wasnt injuries or any other excuse its was because we rant into teams with more talent we dont have enough talent we have overachieved because of great coaching and organization structure but we lack real talent and havent had real talent since Lebron, Wade and Bosh
My brother in Christ both years we made the finals we were decimated by injuries, no Bam and Dragic in 2020 and hobbled jimmy no Dipo or Tyler in 23. 2023 we had jimmy on one knee, no Tyler and injured Lowry 🤦🏻

Heat should try to get Donovan for Herro, Jaime and future first round picks. Maybe even try a 3 team trade Jarret Allen , caris to Pelicans, Caleb, Herro, Jaime, and picks to Cavs and Heat get Donovan Mitchell and Jonas. If not then we go get Dejounte Murray or Malik Monk sign and trade for Herro, Caleb or Highsmith, and/or future 1st picks. Draft a big like Zach Edey and Hunter Sallis PG, Alex Karaban or Julian Phillips in the 2nd round. Sign Jonas in free agency. Move Terry for role players. I love this teams chance with the new roster after this move.

Bam’s TS% is below league average for Centers and PF’s how can you build around that. Bam and Jimmy are complementary players not build around players. They are one of the worst offensive duo’s in the NBA.

Boston made Lebron leave Cleveland
The best teams remaining all recognized their shortcomings and did something about it during the offseason and through trades during the regular season. The Heat no matter how bad always will never make moves. They have a 5 year plan and will stick to it no matter how unwatchable their team is. Butler is our star and can't score, misses alot of games and when he does play he doesn't seem engaged. He needs to go. Miami needs a President/GM that's not asleep at the wheel as well.

Mavs wouldn't have beat Denver. Probably wouldn't have beat phx or the Lakers. Mavs r playing great but they got really lucky this yr n Boston got a super easy road to the finals not having to play any teams best players or lineups.

They got to play a young/inexperienced wolves team with a soft ass unserious big duo. Edward's hit a stamina wall in game 7 vs Denver n hasn't looked like the player he is and Conley can't guard that perimeter. They haven't had the cake walk path Boston has but they did get lucky. I'm hoping Luka can play through his attrition n take down Boston cuz I got a feeling Boston shops brown if they don't win it this year

Miami needs to get bigger. Move Bam to the 4 and get a tough big man that can play with Bam. The Heat are so worried about spacing. Won't work when you're shooters are all inconsistent. Miami needs to move off of Butler, Herro, and Duncan Robinson (13 points a game and no D for 20 mil a year). No need to blow it up. Just sign D Murray and OG Anunoby (UFA). These moves will put us under the 1st apron and will allow the Heat to move off of the G-league projects. Jamal Cain, Dru Smith, O. Robinson, Cole Swider do not belong in the NBA (let alone all on the same team).
