- I've been using both loon thin and Solarez thin for quite sometime and I got to wondering, is one better than the other? So I took as much of an unbiased approach as possible to determine which UV gel is better? Check out my review to see which one comes out on top!

Great review...i used Loon Thin and Solarez Bone Dry...the Solarez for me is better as there is NO TACK,while Loon has some.
We need a follow-up. A more accurate comparison would have been Solarez Bone Dry
You're totally right and solarez bone dry wins easily
Awesome Video Bro!
To properly test, the resin(s) should be cured with the correct light for that resin. The Solarez requires a 385nm light. The Loon? I can't find data. In either case, the flashlight being used in this performance test is not a 385nm light, nor is it the newer technology SMD chip (as is offered in the Solarez flashlight). This is imperative for proper performance
Try the Solarez Bone Dry...comes with a brush and in a bottle. I have found Solarez BD- less tacky in my experiences and the loon tube tends to clog. I have had better experience with Solarez Bone dry than any of the UV resins. Bug Bond is really good too but not sure if its available any more. Just my 2 cents
Bob Twombly love the input! I too love solarez bone dry over all UV gels, but figured I’d test the two major “thin” gels and see! Again, thanks for the input!
Thanks for the review. I have seen somewhere using a clear coat nail polish over the uv finish, even when it was still tacky. What are your thoughts about this?
Seems like a lot of work. You can use isopropyl alcohol to wipe away the tack, much quicker
solarez has some better bottles and attachments you got the basic tube.
What wave length is best to reduce the tackiness ? 365 or 395?
What do you think about using clear nail hardener such as " Hard as Nails" product.
I use it all the time, only thing is it takes forever to dry
Solarez I do not like at all it stays
Tacky for long time. I put the uv light
My jigs for 15 minutes..still tacky
Them . 30 minutes it still tacky.
You might want to check your UV light, could be the wrong nm or intensity. I think RaidZap is better than both of them though
Must have a poor light.
