Wait… everything looks REALLY solid? The last time I bothered to check on these, I could barely stand it, cause they were so broken. Now they look really solid again. I’m so happy!
Would be so cool if they could lower the dining room lights and turn on the curtains. The curtains added to the effect of the overall experience. The song would start with maybe one stage and then later in the song, you’d see the lights behind another curtain light up and then the curtain would open up revealing the next stage. By the end, you’d have all 3 stages going with all the characters singing and playing with the lights adding to the effect. It was such a cool experience.
I am praying to go there I think next year for me. Making it my cheap graduation gift. I have family who think I am crazy, but I love my Rock afire after searching for years on chuck e cheeses videos. I ran into their videos and fell in love. Sooooo that trip is on my list for 2024. Can't wait to see Rolfe and Beach bear and Mitzi. But mostly fans of Beach and Rolfe
I recommend to them to do a gofundme or something to keep them alive. I know it's got to be bleeding money, and it's def worth keeping open to the public. It's just perfect. Perfect location, story, etc. Aaron even wanted this to be the pinical or Disney world of showbiz pizzas. I'd love to see the community rally behind it and get them enough resources to stay not just open but get refreshed arcade wise and just overall touched up. I'd hate to see it go, and it does feel just like the 1980s encapsulated.
Supporters could purchase gift cards as a way to infuse cash to them. Some gift cards will not get redeemed. Others will bring them and spend additional money when they get there.
But how could it be bleeding money? I think its location may have something to do with it. A place encapsulated in the 80's with the RaFE sounds great in theory, but I feel like the people who would appreciate that kind of entertainment are a very niche audience. The general public probably wouldn't be interested.
@@bluegold1026 I think one big factor is advertising. Especially with the popularity of animatronic-based media in the past several years, stuff like this has *plenty* of draw, but you gotta keep putting yourself out there for people to see!
@Benjamin Owen so you're saying they are doomed? I think it's a perfect location. There are plenty of things to do around the area. Lots of great places to eat, hiking, camping, etc. They need to revamp the arcade (most of the games have issues and aren't being fixed) and they need to use the means readily available to them to drive business. Doing the convention of whatever they called it is another way to get fans to come in. There are ways to drive business but it does seem like they are letting it die a slow death.
Its great that this places showcases showbiz history and animatronic history because chuck e cheese is planning to renovate all locations with animatronics and remove the stage to convert it to some dance floor, which i dislike. I am glad that these animatronics are well taken care of and i plan to go here someday.
Yeah I asked to see them because I had seen some pictures online of all their walk around costumes and I had no idea that some of those existed until I saw those pics.
@@SetsStreetsEats TBH at one point, I thought I was mistaken and everything I thought were costume pieces were actually spare skins and parts for the animatronics. But now I really want to see those costumes in action!
The eye movements on some of them aren't working correctly, but the rest of the movements are mostly fine. Not bad for animatronics that are 40 years old. It's not easy nor cheap to care for aging animatronics. Keep in mind, these things have been out of production for 35 or so years and some parts are hard to find.
If I lived in West Virginia, I would go every weekend and stay for many hours w😅hich I did that in 2001 when "Adventure Landing" in Jacksonville,Fl had the Rock A Fire Explosion until they got rid of them due to them breaking a lot and the cost of them to fix the show was going to cost them more then what they paid for them and they didn't see no need to do that, so they disassembled them which I was there to see that happen.
Great video as always! But I clicked the links in your description here for your Instagram and facebook and they say they are un available. Are they the correct links?

I don’t see it but like it’s a black scar on the top of her hair but anyways, my Chuck E. Cheese’s getting a circle of light remodel. Come check it out in Patchogue, Medford, New York.
The fact that they immediately fixed Faz after his breakage, just proves that these animatronics can only take so much and longevity doesn't last
At least they are passionate about keeping them new as they can!!!
@@Blaze_1221 I remember when their Billy bob had a wrong mask and his eyes weren't even in the sockets of that mask
That mask looked really weird
So glad that Showbiz is still around to some degree. I was never alive to see it in its heyday but I’ve always loved it since I found out about it :)
I'm glad that they are taking care of these guys. I hope the band will continue to stay in good shape.

Braylon it's now liquidated....
Hearing all those valves working gives you an idea of the mechanics needed to get and keep these animatronic shows running.

I used to go there every birthday as a kid... goreat memories
I’m curious what’s the name of the song that fatz was singing at the beginning of the vid?
Rubber biscuit
I got to go to the Ashland location near the Cedar Knoll Galleria years ago. They also had a location in Charleston West Virginia. I went there too.

Since when did RaFE characters other than Billy Bob had mascot costumes of themselves? And BB's Wonderland has them?? How awesome is that?!

If you get a chance maybe you could ask them about the curtains and when they might fix them Hopefully soon.😊
It’s weird how nostalgic and incomplete the show feels without the curtains opening/closing!
