Yup and necklace of passage for wizzy tower tele is 2 times closer to a fairy ring once you get the crafting level for them. Edit: I commented before watching.
Was just gonna make a comment about the same thing. Most OP teleport on early achievement diaries by far. Right by an altar, right by fairy right, right by a spirit tree, and right by a port (Khazard)
another way is to rush a little construction (Daddy's home miniquest, possibly wintertodt/tempoross, cut some oaks and plank make, etc) and grind a portal chamber and make a Salve Graveyard in your poh, takes u even closer to ring *but* you'd need a decent supply of law runes. ardy cloak better until u have like 300k to ur name
For the fairy ring tip, another useful teleport is the Varrock tele after the medium diary. You can toggle to teleport you to the GE, which is a bank, and it's close to a fairy ring and a spirit tree, so it can come in handy
Top that... 50 construction for a PoH portal, 60% Arceuus favor, 40 magic for Salve Graveyard teleport.. no need for an in house fairy ring and you teleport within a single click of a ring...
I just wrote notes on my phone for these tasks you listed and I'm going to be doing them all. Huge props for the video. I know I'm late to seeing this but just found out the liking I took to osrs recently again.. so thank you for this. Bank is there, g.e. is there, spirit tree in the north east corner, and fairy ring to the west, just outside the wall. Idk why people overlook this one. It's been my go to as long as I can remember. The fairy ring is a few steps further than some other options I guess.... but the utility of the space makes up for that by far. Keep your varrock tellies on you and you've got direct access to practically anything you could need, items included. Or just keep a charged glory on you. Mid-game its probably the amulet you'd be using anyway (unless you've managed to pull together a mil or so for a fury), then it doesn't take up any inventory room, no diary necessary, and you're still right next to the g.e.

Quest cape is what kept me going. 13 years I’ve gave to this game and never played efficiently as a kid - came back started on a lvl 3 & solely focused on the quest cape. Id focus my skills, time and everything else to meeting requirements and questing as I went. “Optimal quest guide 2020” spreadsheet really was a godsend. Now I have an account that 12 year old would’ve went ape shit over. 7 months later - a quest cape, 99 farming and 90 cb with graceful, fire cape, torso, imbued slayer helm and a poh with all the teles I could want. Super excited for the next chapter
Livin' the dream, as I'm sure our child selves would think. Efficient and fun ways to play the game, mobile, and the wiki and RuneLite. Ironically, there's never been a better time to play OSRS.
I actually got my quest cape before even having 75 range. I struggled a shit ton but it is 100% doable. The RNG just has to be there & try to avoid eating so much lol
Nice video, I have been mainly a f2p and got just one month of member a long time ago and rmb being so overwhelemed on what to do. I am getting back into it and about to get another membership soon. This guide will help immensely for me
I know exactly what you mean. So much new information going from f2p to member. But i gotta say, in a month, you kinda get to know all the stuff,at least approximately, so you don't feel dumb...
6:35 It is worth noting that while most skilling outfits aren't efficient (because they time they save by boosting your xp by 2.5% is < the time it takes to get them), many main account players do nearly all of the game's content, and skilling outfits are often necessary for those. So, if you're already planning on getting a prospector's outfit for a diary, or a farmer's outfit for clue steps, it becomes more macro efficient in the long run to get them as early as possible, to maximize the xp benefit they provide, rather than waiting until you've already hit the late game.
I just wanted to say I sat around 70 cons for a LONG time and i guess when I trained to 50 I forgot to mount a glory. I have been buying and selling glories for over a year at 70 cons. Thank you for this video.
Thanks for the directions. Im currently mid game going for a few hard diaries, which isn't easy at level 65. Currently, I am trying to do quests for the Ardy Hard diary. I need 68 slayer for Wildy Hard, so pimping out my combat gear is going to be essential for that road.
Do Mahogany Homes til 64 construction (stews are a headache). Then you can use the saw to make the shelves then tea & saw for the second pool. Once you have the stamina pool, an altar and portals you low key don't need much else.
another good 'mid-level' construction goal is to go for 70, because it's a requirement for song of the elves. And like you said, you will unlock most of the useful construction stuff along the way.
I would personally say the best way for ironman accounts to get to a fairy ring is the ardy cloak 1. This has the monastery teleport and is quite close to a fairy ring and has unlimited uses.

The fire cape is what made me quit OSRS. The quest achievement cape was my most enjoyable achievement, but trying to kill Jad, I just gave up. I didn't have the motivation to do the prayer-switching perfectly, especially when the margin for error is zero.
Is there a way to keybinds prayer switches to make it easier and then you can keep inventory stay open? Idk if that’s possible or allowed but that could help.
The margin for error is actually pretty generous. I had the fire cape in the main game but killing jad melee a dozen times in the trailblazer league got me really comfortable with prayer switching (you have to keep on melee protect then switch to range/mage in that situation as jad uses a melee attack as well if you're in range). Maybe your ping was bad when your tried it.
@@lockeforeer I got my quest achievement cape at around a low 90s combat level, and that's also when I tried Jad. I got pretty close a couple of times, only to get one-shot at some point, but wasting hours and hours on repeated runs that each take about 30 minutes or more just wasn't enjoyable for me after a point.

As for fast fairy ring access you can mount a glory in your house and it will take you to Edgeville and a ring is a short distance away. Alternatively to not have to go to Edgeville you can complete fairy ring part 2 get 85 construction and just build it in your house.
fyi, construction isn't expensive, just do wintertodt and tempoross for free planks and nails. They also give constuction xp. I got 52 constrcuction without spending a dime.
Please get Kingdom of Miscellania and complete Royal Trouble for coffer expansion. Even if you need to buy a bond or two to get started, its rewards are unmatched for AFK money/experience. I keep mine at generating full herbs and rest into mahogany logs. Every week (7 days on the dot) it uses just under 500k and I get ~2m worth of materials. You can probably make more, but I use mine to offset the costs of training herblore, magic (plank make), and construction (planks from plank make). So, get a ring of wealth, axe, rake, and 500k (assuming you've filled the coffers to 7.5 and let it sit for a week). Then use ring tele to misc, rake weeds/wc maples to 100%, collect, top off coffers. 3 minutes a week and you'll get 1.5m consistently. If you play RS3, you can expect roughly the same - I got 99 herblore from it and portables and made money for getting 99.
I watching this video at 1700 total and 230 qp just to see if there is anything I have missed, looks like I’m on that achievement diary grind, the only thing I’m severely lacking in this list!
For those unaware, if you can afford the Enchanted Lyre (i), you can combine that with a POH in Relleka to have easy access to a mounted Glory, Portal Chamber(s), and Spirit Tree/Fairy Ring if you have it. I found this on another site and it's been so helpful for me.
@@Gorzoid Enchanted Lyre (i) has unlimited teleports and puts you very close to the Relekka poh portal. From there you can go pretty much anywhere. It's not the best option in the game but for a mid-level player I think it works great. No laws aren't expensive but why spend what I can get for free with a few extra clicks.
@@seanb3226 time is money friend, the money you saved is likely a fraction of what you spent on your max poh, may aswell try to take full advantage. If you really hate using teletabs have you considered getting construction cape?
technically yes, but also you might as well wait till 100 combat before getting void and then get enough points for elite void while you're there regretting your decision to do such a horrible mini game :P
Damn I've been waiting for a video like this. Too bad i ran out of membership and I'm broke, and i just refuse to do anything in f2p. I just kinda lost all direction. I have a d defender, rune gloves, fire cape, prossy, graceful, and these basic grinds done.
Full grace is overrated because the set effect requires you to wear every piece of the set. I find I often need to wear a different item in one of those slots and I do not get the effect.
Very nice of you and nice guide, but for a new player that probably is already overwhelmed, I think it would be great to out them in the best order possible as some might try to focus on these goals in order. Other than that it's great :)
Súper necro bump, but I also have to add that this is wayyyyy beyond midgame. Midgame would be dragon boots, defender, Dragon scim, warrior chest, maybe bandos? But anything requiring Recipe for Disaster which has the 2nd highest point criteria behind Dragon Slayer II, is NOT midgame.
Im close to 80 in all of my combat skills and still dont want to face jad or inferno, ive seen how many lifes they have taken. Edit: the fighter torso is hard to get people leave too often.
Been playing again for 6 months. Quit when hunter came out originakly, started playing when dragonslayer one came out, became a member when the d long came out. Happy to hear I got most of these by now. I'm lvl 92, 1540 total, and am very very addicted lmao. Im an ex opiate addict and no joke I feel some type of way about the addictive nature of runescape. I relapsed😂👏 in reality its all about balance. Love the game won't it let take over my life though Or take too much of my money.
Unfortunately prayer got nerved sense then it no longer blocks all DPS on monsters. I think cause their in the middle of separating prayer to different factions of the different osrs Gods new prayer books coming out! Still I miss being immune to certain attacks now I have to study survive tactics a bit more.
Fire Cape without using ranged was quite a challenge for me, but I got it done finally. Order I went: Ardy Cape Fairy Rings Fossil Island (probably one of the better mid-game unlocks) Farming Guild Dragon Defender Lunar Diplomacy Piety[*] [*Forget which came first] Barrows Gloves [*] Fire Cape Now I am working on 85 crafting to turn my lovely runes from Cats/Barrows into a Fury. Currently 77/85. Mining for Buckets of Sand is the *worst* Looking further in the future, after 85 crafting will be 85 slayer for Whip and Dragon boots. Then I'll probably just stick with slayer until 99. I find most the end-game stuff comes with Slayer anyway. Account kind of completes itself at that point once you're in the real slayer grind.
I always keep thinking that there's something that I am missing before I finally make the jump onto membership I'm going to finish off all the free to play Quest beforehand just so I don't have to do them once I am a member
"Mid-game" is such an ambiguous term alot of people will consider themselves mid-game when they've barely scratched the surface. I consider most of the points he made as early game goals, main mid game goals would be fire cape, barrows gloves, all hard diaries (maybe lumbridge elite too) and quest point cape. This has you around base 70s (hopefully base 85s in combats) which is a good spot to start moving into endgame.
@@HullzOSRS back in the day when it first was released u could not click for 12 hours and stay logged in. They then changed it to you logout after 6 minutes of no activity or however long it is. Lots of people got 200mil xp from that method while sleeping 😁
that's because the effect is so minimalistic that you are better off just using pots in place of it. it even says it on the wiki see """"As the holy wrench's direct effect is minimal, it is often more beneficial to use the inventory slot for another prayer potion.""""" the only places its actually really good for is things like a hell hound task etc where you use mass amounts of pots and no food. say you are the average player like flipping says. they have around 50-60 prayer (based on the stat suggestion for firecape) you are only getting 108 extra points on a full inventory (27 ppots 4 dose) when a single ppot gives 88 at 56-59 prayer lvl. so that being said you would need to have 23 or more ppots in your inventory to make it worth bringing (22x4=88*points resetored on a 4 dose ppot*).
Also, I'll never understand why people say the torso is as good as BCP. The stats aren't even really that similar honestly. Half the range defence as well basically. BCP I think is better everywhere but range attack bonus.
I would really like to start playing osrs… But i feel like i dont have the time to invest. I‘d have to start all over. U guys think its still worth it if i can probably only play a few hours a week?

Also me: 260 marks of grace? I don't have that kind of time.
Grind agility and mark of grace like 1 hour a day and you will get graceful eventually.
There have been times where i get almost 10 marks an hour at the canifis agility course.. i have hood, top, and bottom at only 54 agility
Yea do canifis on your comute that's what I have been doing took me a few weeks but i got there
Welfare fairy ring is the lumby teleport and then take a canoe to edgeville. Beggars can’t be choosers if you’re too lazy for quests
I just upgraded from beating up cows to beating up barbs while watching this video. Working my way to the top baby 💪💪
As for fast fairy ring access you can mount a glory in your house and it will take you to Edgeville and a ring is a short distance away.
Alternatively to not have to go to Edgeville you can complete fairy ring part 2 get 85 construction and just build it in your house.
varrock medium diary and GE teleport using portal and going under the wall, is faster than going from edgeville using glory
Awesome vid!
Training farming mid game is such a good moneymaker
fyi, construction isn't expensive, just do wintertodt and tempoross for free planks and nails. They also give constuction xp. I got 52 constrcuction without spending a dime.
Your voice sounds very similar to Wendover Productions. Nice video!
Whos reading this in 2028?
Almost
Why would you have all those things in your poh without teleport to house spell/teletabs? Law runes aren't that expensive man
@@Gorzoid Enchanted Lyre (i) has unlimited teleports and puts you very close to the Relekka poh portal.
Thank you Flip
id argue that most of these things are what you should get in the beginning before you even start slayer etc
void knight sets should be on this list they're free and very good for training also
technically yes, but also you might as well wait till 100 combat before getting void and then get enough points for elite void while you're there regretting your decision to do such a horrible mini game :P
Slayer helm is better anyways
@@DrPrymeTyme if you are in task, for some bosses and barrows void is a must.
Damn I've been waiting for a video like this. Too bad i ran out of membership and I'm broke, and i just refuse to do anything in f2p.
I just kinda lost all direction. I have a d defender, rune gloves, fire cape, prossy, graceful, and these basic grinds done.
I would grind ruby jewelry for a new bons
Ardy cape and fairy rings is most important early game unlock you can possibly get
Full grace is overrated because the set effect requires you to wear every piece of the set. I find I often need to wear a different item in one of those slots and I do not get the effect.
Nah, it’s great for farming runs, quests etc. even without the set effect, the reduced weight is a life saver
I've gotten smoked a dozen times doing mage arena 2, so I gave up. I risked about 10k, but the time setback of being pk'd is a major deterrent
Yea the pking is so anoying when trying to do something
Im close to 80 in all of my combat skills and still dont want to face jad or inferno, ive seen how many lifes they have taken.
Edit: the fighter torso is hard to get people leave too often.
Bro I’m in the same boat for both of these. Neatstepdad - hmu let’s grind both together :)
Fighter torso is not too bad. Even accounting for bad teams you’ll usually get it in 4 to 5 hours tops
U the man
Been playing again for 6 months.
I lost the farming pet due to the lack of tutorial about pets and not knowing that i would lose it or the fact i could insure it :(
Great vid bro very informative and relaxing to watch under the stars with a smoke 😄
Also Imbue a salve ammy is a big upgrade
Unfortunately prayer got nerved sense then it no longer blocks all DPS on monsters. I think cause their in the middle of separating prayer to different factions of the different osrs Gods new prayer books coming out! Still I miss being immune to certain attacks now I have to study survive tactics a bit more.
tip for 'transportation is to get 40 mage and use someones maxed house to tele anywhere
All i could think of the entire time, was that you're using Blooprint's music track.
aroudgne cloak is a nice unlimited free tele to next to fairy ring
Fire Cape without using ranged was quite a challenge for me, but I got it done finally.
Order I went:
Ardy Cape
Fairy Rings
Fossil Island (probably one of the better mid-game unlocks)
Farming Guild
Dragon Defender
Lunar Diplomacy
Piety[*]
[*Forget which came first]
Barrows Gloves [*]
Fire Cape
Now I am working on 85 crafting to turn my lovely runes from Cats/Barrows into a Fury. Currently 77/85. Mining for Buckets of Sand is the *worst*
Looking further in the future, after 85 crafting will be 85 slayer for Whip and Dragon boots.
Proselyte armor should be an early game goal. It has almost no requirements and the quests have almost no requirements
Farming contracts are easy money completed over 3k and easily made close to 100m profit
I have never climbed the ladder to check the Redwood health 😂😂
I love these videos but I feel like these are mid/high level damn.
Miss me with that sanctifier
70 prayer does cost alot for mid players lol
Not really? 1000 Ensouled giant heads gets you 650k xp. They’re not that expensive we’re talking like 1gp/xp if you buy at good price
'mid game goals' first objective: 74 farming. Okay, interesting video.
That’s definitely mid game, farming is the fastest skill. Trees and fruit trees once a day, 74 in a month or so.
92 is half way
@@portfoliotalk8114 not time wise
I really like this game back then but because of the increasing price of Bonds I dont think it is worth playing anymore tbh.
Nightmare zone should not be in the game. I feel weird everytime I see it, it feels so out of place
Yea its one of the worst updates of all time
@@HullzOSRS back in the day when it first was released u could not click for 12 hours and stay logged in. They then changed it to you logout after 6 minutes of no activity or however long it is. Lots of people got 200mil xp from that method while sleeping 😁
Im shocked you didnt put holy wrench on this list
that's because the effect is so minimalistic that you are better off just using pots in place of it. it even says it on the wiki see """"As the holy wrench's direct effect is minimal, it is often more beneficial to use the inventory slot for another prayer potion.""""" the only places its actually really good for is things like a hell hound task etc where you use mass amounts of pots and no food. say you are the average player like flipping says. they have around 50-60 prayer (based on the stat suggestion for firecape) you are only getting 108 extra points on a full inventory (27 ppots 4 dose) when a single ppot gives 88 at 56-59 prayer lvl. so that being said you would need to have 23 or more ppots in your inventory to make it worth bringing (22x4=88*points resetored on a 4 dose ppot*).
It never was worth it.
Also, I'll never understand why people say the torso is as good as BCP. The stats aren't even really that similar honestly. Half the range defence as well basically. BCP I think is better everywhere but range attack bonus.
If you are protecting the defenses don’t matter tho
Because of the str bonus, nothing else really matters
After I got the torso I didnt play for a couple of months, thats how tiresome the minigame was
Yeeeeeeet
Too quiet to watch while showering sadge
kourend hard diary isn't mid game, it's end game
Its real annoying that you didn't make a Playlist with these videos
I agree
I would really like to start playing osrs… But i feel like i dont have the time to invest. I‘d have to start all over. U guys think its still worth it if i can probably only play a few hours a week?
One of the most important items for an ironman early to mid-game, in my opinion, is Drakan's Medallion. The item provides infinite teleports to a bank that is only a few steps away.
Definitely one of my favourite ones
You forgot about the smithing outfir
7:04 Missing the Smithing Outfit
Didn't mention d scimmy best budget training weapon
