I’d rather Nate’s thoughts of the day than Cole the cornstar’s anything
Agree
LOL! I don’t even recognize that dude and he’s the next State above me .
😂😂😂
He is a douche…..
Yeah I really can't stand that channel. Couple minutes into the video and you know what everything cost. I wish his brother would put more videos out.
"like a hood latch on a Ford pickup truck, they wear out from overuse." Priceless
He says that as he driving a Ford too.😂😂
Hi Andy I am an old farmer from Iowa and just wanted to say thank you to you and your family for sharing your day to day farm life with us!!! Your videos are a wonderful way to close out my day!!! So again thank you so much for your time and giter done attitude !!!!!
Thanks for watching
Nate looks like a good mechanic. And a good employee. He was into the toolbox getting tools before you got to the back of the pickup.
In all of good fun, but are you supposed to warn us when you start welding to watch our eyes!!😂 Andy you are one Hardest working You Tuber’s out there! You are also a good teacher too! Thank you!
No it won’t bother you watching
It's funnier if Nate doesn't answer. For some reason it's hilarious.
I was thinking the same thing
"hood latch to a Ford Pickup" !!!!! Love it
Great young man.
Working your family farm and more than willing to do the job.
Good to see you fostering these guys. My thoughts are that they want it more than need your knowledge.
Thanks, Andy, for sharing
We need some hourigan merchandise ontop of the farming fixing fabricating,..love this channel!
Thanks Andy for taking time in your busy day to make us videos
Andy you need to do a video on all the guys and gals that help with the chopping and field work so we can get introduced to them all
Great young man.
Working your family farm and more than willing to do the job.
Good to see you fostering these guys. My thoughts are that they want it more than need your knowledge.
Thanks, Andy, for sharing
Nate, man of few words but great wisdom!
vitally important in this day and age
Count your blessings you have good employees like Nate. He caught it early, was aware of the problem and was able to fix it quickly. With a bad employee that simple breakdown could be a major catastrophe.
Andrew is a harder worker than most adults I know ! You have raised a great bunch of kids!
Andrew looks good with the straw cowboy hat @18:28, 24:25 thanks Andy....keep em coming!
"Nate's thought for the day" always a treat, thanks Andy. Cool new hat on Andrew's noggin, looks good.
Best regards from Indiana.
LOL ford latch. That's a good one.
Hood latch wore out….the only logical move is trade for a new machine!
Hi Andy! Looks like you're pretty happy with the fuel trailer. Things get better and better!!! Thanks for all your time doing the videos!👍🇺🇸
These videos give me moral support, lol. The Mucho broken thing was funny. Awesome video Andy hopefully you guys didn't have any damage from the severe storms this past week.
I keep telling Deere they have a million dollar machine with.50 cent radio shack latches.
I'm sure enjoying all your chopping videos, Andy!! We're still working on getting our hay put up. Our oats is really turning so it looks like combing is in our near future.
Hi from oz Andy. I’ve got expanding claw with slide hammer set for those hearings. Timed myself once. Under 15 mins to remove from axle to replace on axle and done in field beside machine. It makes it so much quicker and easier than punch and no welding (which I never did anyway).
Nice
That little chubby boy is growing up. Such a lucky man with great kids. Andy should be father of the year
Andy....go with George Jones, "muttin chop" sideburns. Let 'er buck!
Moral support you say. Andy if you are going to bring me moral support bring beer with you
Lol
I always pop one of the seals out fill full of grease .looks like vasoline in them .last a lot longer that and put seal back in.
Nice video, Andy really enjoyed it. Nice to see Charlie driving truck. And of course it's always nice to see alex. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your time and consideration Andy top job top team awesome 😎 be safe out there 🚜🚛🚜🚛🚜🚛
Andrew looks like Ronne Van Zant (Lynyrd Skynyrd) with the Ciscso cowboy hat.
Hi Andy !
Good jod !
Natan miss a very good oportunity by your side to said hi to every watching wtih a smile .
we are not dangerous , no raison to fear us .
Thanks Andy for your time and have a good day bud!
I think Nate is Andy's third son.
You two get along and work good together. Of course who couldn't love Andy !
They should make the catch plates reversible I am sure it’s intentionally not
8:44. How fast are them cars going? Looks like they are traveling a ways over the speed limit. Great video Andy.
Speed limit
Love Nate's daily thoughts !
I knew there had to be Mexicans around there lol. We have many, our best and worst employees at the same time. Hard workers and harder on the equipment!
Rain on the drill made it start growing. *funny. The leaves on the trees, turned over - seems to be some logic behind it.
Well another good video I enjoyed it. Andrew is looking pretty slick with the sun glasses and the Hat.
Though of the day, : don't eat yellow snow, unless a beer truck over turns in the winter"
You really got to get two ways in these trucks i.. you tell us all the time and your videos what you want the truck drivers to do and they don't know what to do until you watch the video.. keep up the great work and the great videos and get some radios will you..
Nate there's some eye candy for the ladies good advertising
I can imagine the Karen's crying about the camera going around and round with the steering wheel 😂
Another good one Andy KEEP THEM COMING 🐄 🚜 🇺🇲 🌽 🐘 👍
Happy chopping Andy
When you asked Nathan for a thought for today, he missed out on a golden opportunity to break out in a rendition of the old Kenny Rodgers song lyrics, you picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel......
Great video as always Andy
Nice video, Andy really enjoyed it. You are a man of many talents.
6:40, great looking hair cut Nate!!!!!
You love that Chopper you'll never get rid of it
Andy could you install hood latches, (semi hood latches), on those panel doors? Welcome to hay season Andy, any decision is usually the wrong one when it comes to the weather and hay. Sorry you got rained out, was really hoping you'd be able to get finished up before it let loose on ya. Great video as always. Cheers :)
THANKS NATE for keeping Andy in line young fella and your thoughts !!😂😂. Thanks ANDY !! 15/16 socket don’t for get.
I was surprised that Nate took TWO hands to handle that delicate wheel
....but can take a 24.5 rim and wheel and toss it one hand out of the way....right time for the right move...
The whole northeast region is over wet!
Weather has been so bad here they are just getting first cut done
Never any end to the daily variety. Sometimes you just have to adjust plans and keep rolling on something else...Unsettled weather patterns manage to eat up a month in a hurry.
Too bad the JD engineers didn’t design the catch mounting symetrical so the catches could be reversed and they could be turned around when one side becomes worn. Re wheels on Tedder/rake, a couple summers ago I was doing some raking for a neighbor with a similar model rake but not as wide, and wheel that was not visible from the cab of the tractor fell off, didn’t know anything was wrong until I was going up a hill and wondered why the tractor was pulling so hard. On that rake the wheels were held on with a washer with with a hitch pin through the axle. I found everything but the hitch pin and put the wheel back on and replaced the hitch pin.
Re weather, we had tornados to the south west of us on the north side of the St. Lawrence River.
Lots here still trying to git 1st cutting in small bales.
Here in the north west of the UK it’s been raining every day for the last 3 weeks.👎😢☹️
Thanks for the wonderful videos!
Love Andrews hat and glasses
J.D. _intentionally_ making the latch plate non-reversible so that even if you wanted to turn it around there's no place to drill new holes in it.
You sure have some beautiful farm land
As Always great videos. Thanks Florida Joe.
Great Vid 👍👍👍👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺🍺🚜🚜🚜🚜
Speed choppin. , Love it !!!
Hey Andy, not sure if anyones ask this, but how is the new fan assembly holding up on the chopper. If you could review that for us that would be great. I'm guessing it's fine, otherwise there would be a video on it. Keep the great videos coming....
Good so far
Your cord cracks are always funny
I see on the bench Harbor freight items, ❤😊,Rain here in Eastern Maine hard for Farms to get anything done
Those spray guns are so inexpensive there is no need to clean them out...just toss after using.
Is Junior in his Hank Williams Junior phase?
Just a thought do you have a back up driver for the chopper for when you need to be else where or other things
I don’t have anywhere else to be
Is Nate your son or family member? I noticed he was wearing a hourigane family dairy shirt and dont see anyone else wearing them
Employee
Ya we used to bale to beat hell to bet the rain!! Fun times
You could cut a small length of rubber hose to put on those catches or like plastic and that'll slow down the wear of the metal latch/hasp.👍👍😇
If I was Nate, my thought of the day would be "Man, is my butt itchy". 😁
A good cohiba goes with Bubbs hat…👍
sure looks like you are getting some monster windrows
That old John Deere and rake must be the smallest equipment you use. Probably the most profitable over-all.
great video andy. what are you gonna do with the new paint spray guns
Paint with them
@@FarmingFixingFabricating i figured that😀
Great video thank you.
Most guys use bungees to hold covers when latches wear out. Has that technology not made it to Syracuse yet?
I think for next year you will need a new chopper the amount of acres you do next year will be difficult with the same machine
Nah
The youtube police will get after you for letting Junior have knife.
Enjoyed the video Andy 😊
Andrew is styling with the straw hat and shades 😎
Can't believe you haven't made up new bases out of harder steel.
Mucho broken 😂😂😂
I remember watching a video of you and you're 2 sons picking up a used potinger teder. Now you have nune teder
2 Kuhn tedders
Watching you replace wheel bearings. I'm thinking you have a grease fitting to get grease between the two bearings.
One question: do you pull the inside bearing seal off? I'v pulled so many bearing with the inside seal still on. How's grease supposed to get to the bearing with the seal in place?
Also the factory grease packing on sealed bearing has a lot to be desired for. I alway pull the seal and inject grease before assembly. Just my thought....
Will that get hired faster if you have beauty marks?
I'd tell tell him to get one on the otherside matching. 😅Then no one will notice!
sweet hat jr
Andy your Such a Hard Worker just Curious if you Have to Take any Medicine?
Im Assuming you work 3:30Am to Dark Every Day or Do you get a Mid Day Nap?
No naps and no medicine
I couldn't imagine Andy taking a nap 😂 that's funny
Good job guys and Andy
Did the weld help?😊😊
Yes
I hope it stays dry for wheat and straw for you guys don’t want that to start sprouting again
Great videos! How ya liking your new ford ?
I like it
Leave it to John Deere, cant even make a good hood latch
Andy cant you just turn the latch assembly around and use the other side??
No
Is there some rule that says you have to tet hay with an open cab tractor? The farm I help out on uses an IH 686 another friend of mine uses a 4020 or 4230 both open cab now I see you guys running open cab. 🤣👍
Maybe
I'm sure one day Nathan will come out with a real gem of a statement. Whether I'll be alive to hear it is questionable 😊
