In this video, we mimic the classic "claw game"... Kind of. We pick up a gin pole, grader blade, disc harrow, mold board plow, and cultivator #welding #clawmachine #finds #excavator
Haha, it absolutely is! My dad has a little compact Massey Ferguson that those attachments will work well behind. I'm sure it won't take him long to put them to use!
Enjoyed the video. Memories are what we live for....creating memories. In later years those memories are windows into the past.........and bring joy and smiles.
You're absolutely right. It's part of why I make these videos. I hope to be able to look back on them with my kids some day if they ever become interested in what dad used to do.
Haha, thanks! I've had an exceptional amount of stuff to film here recently. I don't think I can keep the pace, but I'll do my best to keep producing atleast one a week 😅
I never had a real welding table until my FIL closed his shop. A 1-1/2" x 5' x 8', drilled and tapped, bloster plate makes a nice heavy duty welding table. Glad to see you can use it until your dad needs it.👍
Oh wow, that sounds like a really nice unit! I'd like to get a nice fixture table someday. Kinda need to wait until it's a justifiable purchase though.
Cherish the time with your dad, my was killed last year and it’s still hard to deal with, all the things I wish I would have said to him. Love your videos and your attitude! Keep it up man!
Score! That's great. I figure you already have a picture in your head as to how you will rearrange your working space. maybe he didn't really care to, but it would've been nice to have gotten a closeup of your dad. maybe another time.
@deadmanswife3625 Haha fair enough. I wouldn't actually include any footage of him that he wasn't comfortable with. I'm a big believer in loving my neighbor as myself and I would not appreciate someone doing that to me.
@@zaccheus deep down I knew that about you. Especially with your father you wouldn't want him to get nervous about you not respecting his wishes in his old age you can delete this comment about the old age in case he sees it just kidding. But God gives free will and there's nothing better in this whole universe none of us believers would want someone else to make decisions for us
@deadmanswife3625 You're absolutely right. I think he has gotten more comfortable with being on camera over time. We have talked about him being in a video for a long time, and I made sure he was okay with it before I filmed our work that day. I don't know if comfort around cameras is age related or experience related. I'm 28, and it took me a long time to warm up to the idea of being comfortable and my natural self in front of the camera back when I started in 2018
Thanks for sharing !! Enjoy seeing you operate & working with your dad ! Older equipment still useful !

Awesome man. 4 videos in just over a week. Keep them coming

Very cool welding table👍💪
Thanks man!
That's really cool. I miss doing stuff like that with my dad. God rest his soul
Heck yeah! Some people call it junk. That's better than new equipment in my mind especially if it's cheap/free
Haha, absolutely! Oldie but goody!

Aw man, I'm so sorry to hear that. Thank you for sharing. Reminders like that are so important.
Thanks! I'll do my best!

Haha, he isn't super bold when it comes time to film. I'll see if I can't sneak him into a closer frame next time around 😅
@@zaccheusno sneaking.
Just tell him when he's ready we want to see him❤

Wow snow
Yes indeed. I filmed this a little bit ago and it just finally made it to the channel.
