Hello David; did you ever produce the video on the properties of the pentagram that you mention towards the end? BTW, this method (2) does not produce a perfectly regular pentagon; the base is larger than the other 4 sides.
How do you figure it out if you want the sides 3/4". Laying out a hole pattern of a car wheel that has 2.5" between lug nut. Pentagons are easy but making one of a particular size is not so easy.

No, I didn't, but I did make a series on the Golden Mean, which is closely related.
