Aldo Costa and Lorenzo Sassi were Italians. Mercedes isn't an all British-German team with only German or British employees. Also Toto Wolff is Austrian.
I wouldn't hold your breath, I wouldn't be surprised if they go for gender parity, even though Men choose and represent STEM at about 5:1 to women. sigh
I don't see anything wrong with a racing team making an effort to encourage more females into a career at the team, as long as it's not just to fill a quota for PR reasons.
@@SteveMHN did you not read what i said. if you go for 50% women but 5 times more men do math and engineering, you are actively discriminating and will literally never hire the best person for the job. It’s almost like bringing people of different backgrounds brings different things into the office and there’s a reason to do it, and bringing the same middle class white guy in every time will inevitably make the team weaker due to a lack of changing perspectives on things. And it’s also almost like you worrying about diversity is more a signal of your own insecurities than any weakness of society. And it’s also almost like things have never been meritocratic and the only people who think that are the ones benefiting from the inherent bias But I’d never jump to conclusions, that’s why I say it’s “almost” like that
I m 18 years old Indian girl.....what's the probability of me becoming a mechanical engineer at F1 if I get Btech degree in mechanical engineering from IIT??
IIT is relevant only in India I would suggest you to apply abroad, presently I'm in BITS pilani and would be applying to Stanford next year. one more thing IIT's are overhyped they have no value outside of India.

The way merc recruit for internships is quite different to normal internships. You have to go to certain university's and attend the session which they hold in order to apply.
Didn't know I clicked on a bose ad
I would love to work for a race team, it's a lot more interesting than my job. I spend my days repairing and servicing boilers in grotty bathrooms.
maybe you can service the boilers in the Mercedes offices?
It takes balls of steel to do such work daily. Huge respect to you man👏👏

Does computer science count and will I have to do maths and physics

A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Is it possible for a non brit to be in the team?
Yeah, Toto Wolff.. the boss...
I would say so considering there are loads of non British people working for the German company.
Aldo Costa and Lorenzo Sassi were Italians. Mercedes isn't an all British-German team with only German or British employees. Also Toto Wolff is Austrian.
there are Canadians Americans Nigerians Romanians to name a few.
What non brit actually means?
what is the basic qualification
lets hope it is base on meritocracy and not on filling up some "diversity" quota.
