    I have both the RS 360 and the RS 1-inch 360 and the one huge complain I have about the 1-inch version is the annoying micro-jitters you get when using in low-light, that and the blur and artifacts created at the stitch line of the lenses (very noticeable on this video). I actually bought the 1-inch to get more professional looking video in hopes to use it for client work, and the bigger sensor does make a difference, especially in low light, it is better quality and looks better than the regular 360, but the lens stitch artifacts and micro-jitters (even when filming at 30fps) make a lot of the shots unusable for client work. I use the long stick to get those creative impossible shots, which is the reason why most of us get this camera, but the longer the stick, the more micro-jitters you get. I have tried different stitching methods and recalibrating, but nothing really improves it. I hope this is something that some day can be fixed or improved via firmware updates.

      Does it only happen in low light ?

      Raise your shutter speed. This is a result of low shutter speed and nothing a firmware can fix.

      Hi Jaime, today, would you pick the x4 over the One?

    • @JaimeAndresMedia
      @JaimeAndresMedia Місяць тому

      @@z352kdaf8324 if I raise the shutter speed, then I can not do low light video, nor can I use 6K, because you have to go down to 4K resolution to do 60fps, and it looks horrible in low light conditions, which is the one of the main reasons why I got this thing.

      @@cLaw27depends, in most cases, yes, the x4 is better, but for low light video I’d still go with the one inch instead of the X4, specially if you’re able to keep it really steady

    So much good information!! I overbought my skills ... with the One inch. Then I bought the X3 hoping to leverage knowledge from the X3 eventually to the One inch. And also from your videos and Patreon. More info than I have so far had time to explore, but I am "off" my day work for 2 weeks so looking forward to tutorials and experimenting. Thank you for all vids and tutorials!

      the 360 cameras are definitely an extra level of complexity! But with practice you will get the hang of them and they can be great tools

    Good review. I had the original One X, which was nice until the battery overheated. The 1 inch version is proving to be very good, and I like the heft of it. I don’t do a lot a moving with VR cameras - I find the detail gets distracting…but slow movement and stationary is nice. For single camera stuff, I use GoPro…more robust.

    If you had to choose one, which one would you choose and why?

    • @SiHorrocks
      @SiHorrocks  Рік тому +1

      I would choose the 1-inch 360 Edition because I prefer the extra quality over the bigger screen and other shooting options. Plus I don't shoot underwater very often, so I don't need that. I don't have much use for action cameras either so it's an obvious choice for me
