Us blaster smugglers from Denmark are glad it found a good home with you Cpt. Hopefully, the day when we fling foam together is not too far in the future.
Pew pew: sounds kinda like an old school pull back toy car. FDL3: about what I’d expect noise wise. Momentum: “I’m gonna murder your eardrums!!!” *attempts to take off*
Kind of late here, but the train horn is a rule they have to follow. 2 long , 1 short , then hold till they are across the road. They MUST start sounding as the cab crosses the W(whistle) sign on the track. There are special times/places where they don't.
So sad that just as I had put aside the funds for the FTL-3 they stopped making them. Thankfully I held onto the cash to put towards a Momentum. Cant wait! And if anyone wants to part with a pew pew... 😂
Kinda disappointed the Momentum doesn't do lower fps well - puts me off getting one (well that and OoD won't ship one here!). What I love about my FDL is that I can run it at 100fps games, 130 and 200 which are the most common round here all just fine. Its a little down on power vs the springers at 200 but the rate of fire makes up for that.
I seem to remember the pew pew using the konami code: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, select, start. I don't think the pew pew has a select or start button though. For the younger ones here, in the days of the first nintendo entertainment system and the super nes, konami was a game company and they standard used the konami code to give yourself bonusses like infinite lives and stuff
Is it possible to get pads that sence a hit and they are connected to a light that responds to a hit by lighting up or activating some led's. Maybe that is a possible bonus feedback point wich you and/or the camera could see hits.
...yes...let me set up a delicate electronic system in the middle of the woods in a temporate rain forest...what could go wrong? ;P Usually, the noise is enough. Just not with the Momentum being so loud.
@@CaptainXavier (last question) for a 150fps game and under, why would someone use Momentum over pewpew? Out of Darts says Momentum is the best flywheeler, do you agree?
@David_Randall8108 Well, the PewPew does not have a stock, so it is less accurate. Nor is it quite as easy to switch between firing modes. But it performs better in general at lower FPS in my experience. The Momentum also has a shorter battery life. It is the best competitive flywheeler. But not, in my opinion, the best overall flywheeler. I still prefer the FDL-3 as a general-purpose flywheeler. The FDL-3 is still my go-to HvZ blaster.
...because I wanted to plink today, and those are the 3 I have. If/when I get those other blasters, I will (and I am sorry if I lose you on this highly complex and technical concept) make another video. ;P
@pyschohippymofo you are quite welcome. No charge. All part of the service. If you'd like to see the video sooner, feel free to send me all the blasters you mentioned. I'd hate to leave you waiting. ;)
@pyschohippymofo Yeah, it happens. I get sent a lot of stuff and I can only film so many videos whilst having a full time job, other hobbies, events to go to, people demanding videos of blasters I don't even have, sleep, etc. Do you know of any items I am currently behind on?
Probably better to ask X-shot that question. Here in Japan the newer X-shot blasters were at Tokyo Toy Fair but not the Longshot. That may be due to local regulations.

I just want to say, you and out of darts are my favorite YT channels, one reason for that, is because they are so family friendly, fun, and wholesome.
Cant waut to see your take on the SBF, if and when you get one. I have a hardware kit on the way, and im super excited for it
I am on the list to get one.
Awesome set of blasters!
So sad that just as I had put aside the funds for the FTL-3 they stopped making them. Thankfully I held onto the cash to put towards a Momentum. Cant wait! And if anyone wants to part with a pew pew... 😂
Get the SBF. Its a lot more refined with similar performance
@@sdchew You think the SBF is better than Momentum?

There are lots of blasters that don't do lower FPS well. Try to get a Swift or a Lynx under 150. It is not easy, and they tend to perform terribly.
What is the lowest fps that the Momentum behaves as it should?
I wish I could get an fdl3. Sad they are no longer being made.
@jamesgrubbs3585 I would have to check again but around 110-115, I think.
@@frozenfade you can always build one. So far I’ve made 4. Probably my favorite blaster of all time!
Thanks for your thoughts on the accuracy.

Forgot the b, a button before select, start. It's been a while, I'm old, lol
Sounds like you had a fun time
Bangarang!
Bengito for the win!!
Nice blasting!!
Did you plant the trees in a line like that or did you get lucky when you bought the house? The curiosity is killing me!
They came that way. The previous owners were a logging family. They planted their own pine free farm in nice straight rows.
@@CaptainXavier that's amazing
Feeding the algorithm
I wish I can afford those
Wish I could get drawn for a pew pew, no such luck thus far
The fdl3 full auto is actually the same as the pewpew, it's just set to I think 100- I forget what Jesse had said
Any of those at max fire would make anyone flinch.
I love brushless motors🎉❤😊
Captain Chainsaw video when?
Never. Kids watch this channel. They don't need to be exposed to that kind of filth!
So loud! I wish flywheelers used vibration absorbing motor mounts.
Some do. But most don't. It is a shame.

@@CaptainXavier fair enough
A better option is a Mic down range, it might not help you during recording but we could hear them better
@@OGclasshole hmm maybe hanging an outdoor/waterproof mp3 or sound recorder, then it's not that bad to leave it out in the rain
You said Momentum was designed for 200fps. Is it still a great blaster for hvv and super stock?
Superstore, yes. Not so much for HvZ. It does not like to run that low. It can, but there are much better options.
@@CaptainXavier Sorry for all the questions. Why would you not use pewpew as a primary for 150fps and under?
@David_Randall8108 ...I would. And I have. It works great.

I look forward to seeing your out date and redundant video in about 9-12 months.

The issue with that is i know people who have sent you stuff and they still had to wait. So you get freebies and they get outdated content.

Does anyone know what happened to Project FDL?
Yes. But we don't talk about it.
@@CaptainXavier Ok?
i like the pewpew :)
Do you know if the x shot pro longshot will come to australia?
Probably better to ask X-shot that question. Here in Japan the newer X-shot blasters were at Tokyo Toy Fair but not the Longshot. That may be due to local regulations.
