Hi👋The video is great👌 I am a French airsoft videographer and UA-cam recommended this video to me, I predict a success worthy of its quality 😉 I wish you good luck 😊
Yeah, it would be cool if more airsoft players used large realistic shields instead of plastic ones... Here, in Poland, the organizers are very afraid of shields, so they make stupid rules for shields and it is almost impossible to play with them(
@@Author-Airsoft damn, i feel you man. but still, having a shield as like yk a wall display is pretty cool even if its never going to be used in an airsoft field
Hello, because of the video, I also started making such a shield, and I would like to ask what size screws you used and what olive color material did you cover the shield with? Also, how did you cover the bottom of the shield (at 16:23)with the olive colored material?

Oh, sorry, I found it in some Russian messenger and it doesn’t seem to work in all countries. In a couple of hours I will duplicate all the images from there and share the link to Google Drive
i made one with the harness for holding it .. its aprox 24kg it has 40mm laminated polycarbonate glass in the visor ... :) steel holder for glass , handles front and back
Wow, it's weight like the real one! 40mm, omg, i think, it can stop real bullet😨This sounds more like a description of a real shield than an airsoft replica. You did a great job!
@@damirddjikicI've heard that 4-5mm is used in ballistic glasses and 1cm can stop a shotgun shot. After 2 games in CQB, I don’t even have scratches on the glass, but in CQB the joules are small. Maybe 40mm can stop .22lr or 9mm, but I'm not sure
If you look closely, they are secured with bolts, so I think it would be better to secure them with bolts across the entire shield. But as an option, you can add additional Velcro at the back, it definitely won't hurt and will make the whole structure more reliable)
@@Author-Airsoft Thanks for the quick answer. I'll be sure to make this as soon as the winter hits and snow arrives. I gotta say, I really enjoyed watching the video. Was really informational and overall a fun watch! Looking forward to more videos!

Насколько я знаю, некоторые организаторы требуют щиты с минимум половиной веса от реального, и ни редки случаи, когда делаю щиты по 15-18кг. Не завидую их спине...

When mounting the light, do you recommend just bolting it through the fabric covering, or just putting it on the velcro? 18:40 .
