How would a therapist know when is the appropriate time for a therapist to refer a member of the lGBTQ+ population to a therapist that specializes working with this group?
In Canada we are going to be officially making the change to 2SLGBTQQIA+ or 2SLGBTQ+ as part of reconciliation, inclusion, and recognition of 2-spirit people that have been on turtle island since time immemorial, to recognize traditional Indigenous sexuality, gender roles, and spirituality. There has been targeted erasure, genocide and exclusion since first contact 2-Spirit is the more commonly known designation, but youth and newer generations have also adopted Indigiqueer,
