Forefathers here mean the Indian ancestors who started the traditions...You may not agree with some practices and being skeptical is good, but these practices were very old and continued till today because these practices when followed by the right intent & process, people benefitted from them and hende continued till date...I agree that the essence & reasons behind many of them were lost and a lot of practices were being followed as per the convinience of the people, using adulterated products & intentions too

Not disagreeing with that - just that I had never heard about it.
I can totally see why this would be a practice that has been around for many generations.

Wearing a touring or bangles or earrings should be metal. Because metal have good electricity conductivity. Constant friction makes static electricity on these metals. And that small static electricity pass through our body. The important veins are catch the electricity and helps the blood circulation.

Fit tuber make videos based on facts ,if you don't know that doesn't mean it's not true,
Ask your husband about "dahi sugar", and the bangle one is true all over india these are called "churi" in hindi.
Anything thing you don't know you cannot say it's not true and the snake bite one he was talking about older times 😑😑,
Just try to learn something new rather than strictly discarding the facts, he knows more than you do so plz be respectful to the efforts for him and he always does all his videos with facts and his efforts are respectable,so don't troll anyone's video and efforts plz,I am following him since 2018.I know that you lived in india for a long time but that is the thing that you cannot learn or know all the things about our culture our belief and India had logical aspects in all our belief and reasoning,❤🙏🙏

I clearly said I understood why dahi and sugar would be good before a test and compared it to the western equivalent belief of having a banana. My husband has never once asked our kids to have it 🤷‍♀️ I never said it wasn’t true.
I questioned the bangles - questioning doesn’t mean I said it isn’t true - just said I didn’t know (but I don’t know if he really does either🤷‍♀️)
And what education/background does he have for you to claim his videos are based on facts? Asking as I was curious about this and you seem to know more about his channel. Thanks!

Also I want to make it clear that politely disagreeing or commenting that I haven’t heard of this practice or that I am not sure if I believe something he said shouldn’t be compared to trolling.
I was nothing but polite and respectful. I am allowed to have my own opinions without being called a troll.

We cannot forget that, in India women were treated very very badly in the past.
In general everyone tries to claim that, what they are doing/following is actually scientific and in the best interest of the society.
Many of these traditions are used as tools to supress many people in the name of religion and customs. The best thing is to go with common sense rather than trying to search "scientific" angle in those customs

Modern western science is far behind Indian Ayurvedic knowledge system which even modern urban Indian don't know because of western education system which was forced upon us through centuries of British colonialism rule. For past 70 years of Independent Indian even ruling politician didn't try to change it until recent nationalist government who came to power who thinks like Indian and have roots in India are trying to bring back the old vedic knowledge system through new education policies.
And most Indian women wear bangles all over India if u neglect so called urban city which has copycat western lifestyle as well as thinking. Centuries of colonial rule has so much impact on society and tradition that no west can understand. Invasion happen to all part of the world but it is only India that sustain all invasion and is the only living civilization, still practice its thousands of year of tradition, maynot be fully understanding much of the ritual but still practicing it.

Well even I have a lovely set of bangles 😀 it is specifically the wedding/marriage bangles that I am referring to.
I haven’t ever seen those being used in the south (unless for a north wedding) and I am not sure they do what he says they do.
