This occasion was at a 711 and this guy was whooping everybody getting there turn and he was playing as guile and he was doing that throw glitch and this lowlife looking dude was a victim to the guile player and when he lost and he yelled I don't got no quarters and he punched the guile player in the face and left the store and screamed FN cheater lol.
Wow, 2 perfects on M Bison. I first came across this in Pakistan. No day was complete without playing this masterpiece. We used to spend hours in the arcade. Wonderful memories
I 💯💯💯💯 agree. The newer ones became "juggle fighter". You can even cancel/block/reversal into a juggle. The mental combat game is gone. All you need is alot of super meter.
I was 11 years old when this game came out. The popularity of it was insane, I've never seen anything like it since then. Its all kids at school could talk about, and it wasn't just the kids, i remember seeing ppl of all ages playing it. Right at about the time this game was blowing up everywhere, i remember my parents took us to Las Vegas for weekend getaway. We stayed at the circus circus hotel because it was one of the more family oriented casinos, and they had a humongous arcade. This being the hottest game in the market, they had multiple machines of it and every single one was full of players. In the middle of the room they had a machine that had a really large screen where only the most daring and skilled players would face off against each other, and there were tons of on-lookers just watching. I remember sitting there watching just in awe by how good these people were. I could barely pull off a haduken, and these guys were masterful just pulling off special moves with easy. This was also the first time i had ever seen Balrog's vegas stage. Nobody i knew had ever made it that far in the game, so i thought maybe this was just a specially made version of street fighter 2 for the casino, but it wasnt. One after another people were lining up to play and when one would lose, another challenger would join, all on that balrog vegas stage while i was in vegas. It was quite the spectacle, a memory I'll never forget.
I halted to watch just a little bit, and I finished watching everything... Lots of nostalgia... Thanks for sharing, I traveled back in time to my pre- and adolescence...

I’m so glad I have the Street Fighter 30th anniversary edition for my Xbox and let me tell you I never get tired of it because you’re playing the Arcade versions which is amazing!!
The snes versions where a disappointment to me but when got notified of PS1 sf collection release I was excited but when got it was something that felt it wasn't exact arcade and even with the release of sf on PS2 with the capcom classics didn't seem like exact arcade version but the PS4 sf anniversary seems like exact arcade version especially with the glitches included👍

Since I was 10 years old playing this game in the arcades, Ken has always been my dude. Always. I dabbled with Chun-Li and Blanka for a few minutes and eventually learned to use Ryu and Akuma fairly well, but Ken was, is and will always be my #1 guy. ✌

This version of SFII Ken has the "pull" Tatsumaki (aka the Cyclone Kick) while other versions get the push Tatsu (aka the Hurricane Kick). This is of course my favorite version, but it was nerfed in subsequent iterations.
@@aaronwalcott513 No. Neither Ken or Ryu have a "pull" in their spin kicks in any SF2 adaptation. Only Difference is Kens, is faster and weaker with consecutive strikes, while Ryus is slower, stronger, travels further and is a knock down hit. What is going on here is, the player in timeing the spin kick in the middles of the opponents rising. Once they get caught each strike counts. Stunning the enemy with each hit allowing no escape till the move is completed. What you are seeing is a "stun lock". Timing this attack correctly as described is the only way to pull this effect off. If there was an actual "pull" like in the later SF games you wouldnt have to do it this way a described. Like the jump kick combo he does in this game are technical misses, but they land anyway leading up a 3 to 4 hit combo. Just like the (Timed )Tatsumaki , these are exploits. Nothing more.
@@SmeeHal actually, no. First, a knockdown on hit is automatically a "push." The only other SFII Champion Edition where Ryu has a pull is Flowers, and that is a bootleg version. Even in the Rainbow edition his Tatsu was a push. Also, if you load Ken in, say, Hyper Fighting version of SFII, you'll see even though he has a multi-hit Tatsu, it can't suck them in on cross-up like this one. Go try it and see.

Great comment brother that got everyone's juices flowing in this comment section with their great stories on this game. I could read them all because it takes me back to those memorable years. Spent so much money as well as time at pizza places,arcades, and convenience stores playing it. From 92-94 it was everywhere with those butter 🧈 graphics and great sounds. Gravitated to a Ryu fan, but started with Ken who's got better moves in this one.Then got it on SNES and afterwards all of its incarnations. I like it on Sega Saturn the best. If any of y'all haven't seen the anime's you should, it goes well with the game and nostalgia you love. Heck while you're at it get a T-shirt and a wall scroll or poster thatd be more to the ill-ah. Man this takes me back to good old days. Spent hours playing in arcades. The winner stayed on and the losers played one after the other. Sometimes id spend an entire day at the arcade. A bew arcade had opened near my place and they had a hack versi9n of this. A shoryuken used to send projectiles like a hadouken and were around 4 hadouken projectiles stacked on topmof each other. And the shoryuken had a massive arc much more than the actual game. I loved the hack versi9n. Great times.

If you time it right and do it as they rise you get the strikes from left to right. It murders em.

Man this takes me back to good old days. Spent hours playing in arcades. The winner stayed on and the losers played one after the other. Sometimes id spend an entire day at the arcade. A bew arcade had opened near my place and they had a hack versi9n of this. A shoryuken used to send projectiles like a hadouken and were around 4 hadouken projectiles stacked on topmof each other. And the shoryuken had a massive arc much more than the actual game. I loved the hack versi9n. Great times.
