I remember back in days of the arcade, people used get all pissed when somebody was dope with Dhalsim. I like how hes a distance character but hes more than adequate up close.
because he's probably the most skill-dependent character on the entire roster, and if you lose to a great Dhalsim player, that meant you aren't as good as you thought you were. ESPECIALLY if you were using a meta character like Ryu, Ken, Guile, etc.

Does anyone know how to speed up the multihit 'grabs' (i.e. Yoga noogie, Blanka's head bite, etc)? I seem to remember if you timed the joystick or button presses rhythmically you could get in more hits like CPU Blanka did in this video. OK well maybe not THAT many, that was nuts!
This might be an unpopular opinion but I always thought Dhalsim was the worst character in SF2. He's painfully slow, he has some of the worst damage output in the game, and his long limbs make him extremely vulnerable to counters.
Of course, you gonna get every characters playthroughs eventually. But please understand I don’t do same game in a row and make it rotate like SF2-SF2CE…….SSF2T, so next one will be SF2HF.
Dhalsim was a good fighter, and fun, if you knew how to use his unique abilities. Getting head butted by Dhalsim must've been like getting slapped with a bowling ball.

This may be the first time, in over 30 years of playing this game, that I have ever seen a bout between Dhalsim and E. Honda.

Xの時は前進で伸びる攻撃なんで、通常時でやると、クセで「あれ、伸びないの❔」ってついつい思っちゃう🤣
まぁ、クリアしたことあったけど。
ストZEROⅡとZEROⅢの時は、飛び道具の与えるダメージが低いから相手倒すのに苦労(；´ﾟдﾟ)ゞ(特にⅢは初戦敗退が)(勝率1割も満たない)

Only the skilled and initiated knew how to use him.
