- I'm so sorry, I know I should've edited this video a looooong time ago but I was really busy and didn't have any inspiration so it was better to take some time off. I also know I promised you guys a video of Nick and June's story like the season 1 I edited but it was kinda impossible. By the way, I just noticed that their video of season 1 disappeared, like ??? I hope it comes back to normal 'cause I'm actually freaking out about this. Okay, back to season 2... The video was about 50 minutes long and no way on earth I was gonna be able to render it and upload here without any problems so instead of editing an "all scenes" video I did this. I tried to follow the order of the episodes as much as I could, starting by the first and ending with the last one, of course. And oh my God, there's A LOT of voiceovers. I gotta say I can't wait to watch season 3, there'll probably be so much drama, ugh!

I feel like it wouldn't be natural for June to go back to Luke. She's gonna have major PTSD and only Nick knows what she's been through. If Nick survives she should be with him. Come on Hulu, don't break our hearts !!!

I am just trying to ignore that Luke exists. June and Nick have to end up together, be a family with Holly. He risks so much for her and when he told her about Luke, that was the most selfless thing he could have done, that is love 😭💔❤

Exactly! Nick told her he loves her so many times. But I feel like prolly either Luke or Nick might die. One of them cuz when a story is like this one of the guy usually dies and it’s FOR the girl

Me too. One of the worst episodes is the one where the guy who works for the Mexican ambassador tells June that Luke is still alive and gets her to write a message to Luke which he'll pass on to him. Then there's the scene after she's made love to Nick talking about how memories of Luke are beginning to fade and you can tell that she feels guilty for being unfaithful to Luke. I know a lot of people have doubts as to whether Nick genuinely loves her, I certainly don't, my doubts are the other way around. I've always felt it more from him than June, after all she's still married, she still loves her husband and she even admitted when she's narrating that she only slept with Nick cos she's lonely plus Nick tells her he loves her first

Every now and then not often I become obsessed with a show this is my newest obsession. I love Nick and June's relationship but something tells me I'm going to be sadly disappointed at how everything turns out.

At least it was with a man she loved and not her rapist. Luke should understand she had to do what she had to do. But anyways, Luke wasn’t faithful to his first wife yet here you are. Where’s that same energy for her? Luke is also a cheater. Karma for him.

The relationship we see between June and Luke is beautiful and raw, the romance we see between June and Nick is scandalous and firey but gentle and true

Oh my, when they are holding the baby together I lost it. This showcase of a love not meant to be is so beautifully and perfectly portrayed by these two actors 😭😭😭

I went on binge watch to saw handmaids and I can’t wait to see the next season , the chemistry between Nick and June was one of the amazing ones I have seen.
If Nick dies am dying with him.l! I love this character! He takes so many risks for June that he deserves to live and be with June and his daughter.
Only reason i watch this show is because Nick's and Jane relationship. We barely saw him in season 3
S3E6 I think...Nick shows up in Washington and says something like, "Nice girl like you in a place like this"...oh, my heart! Lol!

Nick for love takes big risks to be even a moment with her and discover his daughter (one of the most beautiful moments of this season 2).
Just started the watch this 2 days ago and I'm on the 3rd season. I can't stop thinking about June and Nick specially. Their connection are just so wonderful and on fire. This montage really made Nick's character arc shine. His subtle jaw clench and his soothing tone of voice were little nuances that I hadn't been keen on...until now. This was Beautifully put together. I love it.

How people could be angry with Nick because he helped to creat Gilead or say that he is false or evil or anything? If he was these things he wouldn't help June everytime he could. He doesn't have choices. If he goes against the government right now, he couldn't help her anymore. And I think that Fred did something that's why Nick became a comander. If he do something suspect, Fred will take this chance to destroy him.
It wasnt Fred, it was some other bigger commander and Nick didn't become Commander, he was a Soldier for Gilead and Someone in authority of the Gilead Army

I love Luke so much...but Nick is everything! Luke will never be able to understand all the things she went through. I promise myself i would not get attached to Nicks character cause I feel like they are gonna kill him but I failed 😔

Redo the season one since YT removed it smh....2019 when are you coming?? It is so amazing to realize in all its complexities in storylines and show dynamics, HMT is simply just a love-story.

I read the second book - *The* *Testaments* . It didn't mention anything about who June ends up with but mentions that June, Nick and Luke are alive. But after reading the book and watching 3rd season, I feel June was back with Luke

do you guys have any theories as to why he asked to be reassigned? before the guy died obviously. i'm caught up and it's never really explained. possibly to have more power and be able to help june more, but he had more power all of season 3 and did nothing... so that doesn't make sense

The other thing I've noticed watching this video is how much older Nick has become and I don't just mean age-wise I mean as a person. In a recent interview Max Minghella said he thought Nick became older in Season 4 but imo he started in Season 2 as his relationship with June developed. Remember before he was recruited by Sons of Jacob he was this naive boy who had nothing in his life and the only relationship with a woman he's had is going back to the same one every time he went to Jezabel's. Imagine going from that to not only falling in love with a handmaid which is forbidden, but that handmaid is married and has been for a long time, she also has a child and has much more life experience than him. And tbh this is why personally in the early part of their relationship I always thought it was a little bit one-sided from June's point of view. He then risks his life time and time again to try and protect her, plus because he's an Eye, June expects so much from him. To me one of the scenes showing that Nick's starting to change is in the Boston Globe offices when June wants to leave immediately and Nick says no. It's the first time he's stood up to her but then they have very intense sex which is initiated by June, and of course this is also her regaining control of the situation and dare I say it of Nick just a little bit, again playing on his inexperience with women. I have often wondered when in fact June actually fell in love with him. I know she tells him when he's holding Holly but tbh up until that moment I couldn't see any signs whereas with Nick the signs were there for a long time even before he told her - twice!
You have a point i also thought Nick looks so much older in S4 like 10 years older looking with some grey hair😅 but the actor Max doesn’t look that old like Nick does or neither of all the other cast.. so i assume the directors did that on purpose? haha i mean Nicole’s gotten big it must’ve been 2..ish years since June escaped to Canada in the narrative.. but still..
Also Nick’s remarried and hide from June.. maybe it’s been too long and he doesn’t love her anymore living in Gilied as a powerful man?

I just realized a random thing, June’s daughter, Nichole’s name is like a mix of Nick Blame’s (her lover) first name and Luke Bankole’s (her husband) last name. I don’t know it’s on purpose but interesting coincidence.

Ok,, this is really a fantastic vedio of a super cool couple (June and Nick) plus there daughter ( Nichole-Holly) and how much they all survive in Gileads and Canada. Would they excape Gilead and have life to live in freedom as a family in society as a democracy 🇺🇸!

I think jume said to call her Nicole because of Serena but also cuz of nick but it confuses me why she named her holly but wanted her to call her Nicole
She named her Holly for her and Nick. But she asked that she be called Nicole so that it could get back to Serena that the baby was alive and safe. But it backfired because Gilead used it as a way to try and take the baby back. In the books she goes back to Holly again.
Glad I wasn't the only one who was confused. A lot of people have said it was cos it's a female version of Nick so she's renaming her after her father and it's June's way of showing how much she loves Nick but considering she already feels that way about him surely she would have done that already instead of asking Nick when they're talking in the house if it's OK to call her Holly after her Mum and then in the scene where Nick holds her for the first time June says "Holly, this is your Daddy" which incidentally is an absolutely beautiful moment
