I have seen people do “honeycomb” designs with bubble wrap. You could try that with the dark color and put the lighter color gel on the edges! Turned out cute either way!
I personally feel like it would've been easier if she'd done it with the nails off instead of on so she could use both hands and get a better view. But it was executed very well considering she did it all by hand and with only one hand.

I have honestly done the same thing before, and I have always felt ashamed ever bringing it up, but I approached it the same way. It makes me feel less alienated knowing someone else out there is facing a similar struggle to mine.

When you use polygel to adhere the full cover tips - especially really long ones - try applying more than you did and smoothing it out further up the nail. Makes less of that noticeable “step” under the nail where you applied them and strengthens them a lot.
Omg I do that to my nails when I panic too, I feel like taking them off immediately gives a sense of control when you're overwhelmed. Thank you for your videos and sharing your struggles Emily 💕

I know you may not see this but the same thing happens to me when I do my nails when I’m having a tough day. I tend to rip them off and I even sometimes try to do it over but it never works. My cuticles are wrecked as well and all I can say is we appreciate you no matter what. Your subscribers and supporters have much more in common with you than you know. I really appreciate your transparency about being stressed and ripping your nails off. This happens to me as well. When I’m stressed or having a panic attack, I need to do more passive activities like watching tv. If I try to do anything else, I end up getting really frustrated and impatient!
