For the past couple of days I did an analysis of all Pro-Modi comments on both sides of opinion on UA-cam. Even in your channel, check their profile, they are all fake. These were generated by subscribers who opened their UA-cam accounts as far back in 2022 and the newest ones being just a month old. You should do a story on it. I was so shocked to see that almost 96% of comments replying that Modi is disasterous, gets a volley of bad-mouthing, etc; in negative UA-camrs and almost 58% of comments amplify those showing pro-Modi stance.
Wrt to GST let me say It made my father's business better. Reason: earlier (prior gst) we have to give money to Sale tax officer as 'RISHWAT' because we need his signature. But after the GST, govt removed the earlier provision and made everything online. It saved nearly 20-30k rs.

this is the problem with people, obviously modi is not a dictator today, but the actions taken by the govt. nowadays indicates its shift from democracy to dicstatorship... it will take time and by the time you realize it it would be very late so many people want to know which action i am talking about so here it is- Until now, not a single leader from AAP has been punished by the court, so why are Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal, and Satyendra Jain in jail? Shouldn't they be considered innocent until proven guilty in a democracy? Why did the Modi government change this law in 2018? What does the Broadcasting Service Regulation Act bill mean? Wasn't the mainstream media enough that now even UA-camrs have to be controlled? There is a limit. Yes, the situation isn't like what happened in China, but if we don't raise our voices, it won't take long. What is the purpose of winning 400+ seats? A BJP leader himself said that they would change the constitution if they win with 400+ seats. Aren't these signs enough? Why isn't a single BJP leader in jail? Why aren't CBI and ED investigating BJP leaders? Is it possible that there is no corrupt leader in the world's largest political party? Why does all investigation stopped as soon as a politician joins the BJP? Why is banks of INC suddenly freezed for a case which is almost 6 years old. Is it just a coincidence? Even I was a supporter of BJP, but no doubt they are playing dirty game now. Look I am a patriots and that's why we are raising voice against what we feel is not good for our democracy. Also the people who are saying that some congress leaders like Indira Gandhi or nehru were even worse... i agree with you all but are we in that era?? no... i was not even born at that time.. why would i care about that... i should care about what is happening today. if someone did bad in past so repeating the same is justified? how?

My cousin owns a transportation business. Earlier, there were lot of delays and issues in filing taxes, specially when transporting material between different states. There used to be long traffic jams because of checkpoints and paperwork required therein. Many times, his drivers were harrassed by officials present there and forced to pay bribes. Introduction of GST eliminated much of the paperwork, removed a huge chunk of checkpoints and solved the problem of forced bribery. This not only is helping in greater profits, it also reduced transit time and helped expand business in other states.

Investors need to feel that it’s cost effective to manufacture in India…. than to import from China…. And competing with China is nightmare for any country let alone India. Still India has put duties on China goods. When duties are imposed too, some pro China people like Rahul Gandhi and his supporters feels bad😂. They want cheap goods and compete with China in manufacturing. Sometimes I feel we need a better opposition to atleast challenge BJP, you cannot just argue every point the ruling govt is making. This is wastage of parliament time.
Having read my first point I think we are closer than ever to start manufacturing big time. EVs, chip manufacturing, lithium mining projects, hydrogen manufacturing etc and I see many startups setting up manufacturing plants now. Just watch Shark tank. That’s just tip of the iceberg. Point is you need to be smart against competition and understand business properly - easily said than done. Make in India is also working. I can see many phone manufacturers manufacturing in India. I appreciate your efforts to stay neutral and simplify the issues at hand. In my opinion, the current government has made significant strides in infrastructure development, international relations, foreign reserves, and Make in India projects. However, there are still pressing issues such as lack of employment, inadequate medical assistance, security concerns in certain states, bias against minorities, and the troubling trend of mob lynching based on prejudice. It is important for us to address these issues and work towards a more inclusive and progressive society. We need a more skill-oriented education system that prepares students for the future job market, especially in fields like AI. Government schools and colleges should make better use of technology and innovation in their teaching methods. We should strive for a society where everyone has equal opportunities and where individuals are not forced to work for low wages. Let's work together to create a brighter future for all. 😊
Yes! This is the POV of a young entrepreneur who had set up 3 companies in the past 4 years. The GST compliance and company incorporation has been a very straightforward and transparent process since everything is digital. While applying for GST licence we had used an agent (minimal cost) but since then no other additional costs as I do the filing and payment myself. Obviously, I cannot compare how this fares against the old system, but I can definitely vouch that the new GST system requires a minimal learning curve for regular filing and can be done by the business owners themselves. SInce everything is digital it is a very seamless process that reduces any instance of corruption from local beaurocrats.

Dear Think School, I think while discussing such topics, we need to discuss 1. Scams made by UPA Government that ate all the common people money 2. Foreign Relationships improved by NDA Government which avoided war and made our lives peaceful 3. India is moving to self reliant phase, by increasing young entrepreneurs 4. Which section or community of the country has more unemployment. Because, one popular community has no control on population increase and if they claim unemployment, it is wrong. 5. Unemployment should be analyzed with respect to the population growth. Indian population increased drastrically in the past 10 years.

While the GST has streamlined administrative processes for many businesses, it has presented challenges for mine. Let me illustrate with an example and some data. I run a Mithai Shop in a tier 3 city, and my primary market is limited to offline sales in my city and Zomato. Mithai falls into three different GST slabs: 5% for Mithai without coagulated milk (Khoya/mawa), 12% for Mithai with Khoya, and 18% for Mithai made with dry fruits and chocolate. Currently, I operate under the composition scheme, meaning I pay 1% of my total sales as GST regardless of the type of Mithai I sell. However, this scheme has a sales limit of 2 crore rupees annually. If my sales exceed this limit, I have to switch to the normal scheme and file under the three different slabs mentioned earlier. This setup is burdensome for micro-businesses like mine. For example, let's say I currently make sales of 50,000 rupees a day, totaling 1,82,50,000 rupees annually. Under the composition scheme, I pay 1% (1,82,500 rupees) as GST. But if I want to expand by opening a new outlet in a nearby city and maintain the same level of sales, my combined sales would reach 1,00,000 rupees a day, totaling 3,65,00,000 rupees annually. This would automatically put me under the normal GST scheme. Now, some might argue that I can simply pass the GST burden onto the end consumer by adjusting prices. However, in India's price-sensitive tier 3 markets, this is not feasible. For instance, let's assume the average selling price of Mithai is 500 rupees per kilogram. Under the composition scheme, the tax is 1% (5 rupees), which is manageable for the business. But under the normal scheme, the tax shoots up to 12% (60 rupees) for the same product, making my business financially unsustainable. Even if I attempt to pass on this cost to the customer, setting the new price at 560 rupees per kilogram would likely drive customers to competitors. Moreover, as my primary raw material is milk, which is GST-free, switching to the normal scheme is not beneficial as anyhow I can't get the benefit of input tax credit. Additionally, the lack of adoption of POS systems in tier 3 markets makes it nearly impossible to track the three different taxes on Mithai effectively. Overall, this scenario hampers the growth of my business and reduces the potential return on investment for expanding to new outlets.
You can open your next business with someone else's PAN card (someone's name) like wife or mother, father, brother and still enjoy the composition scheme till they increase the limits. Bas tax consultant aapka clever hona cahiye ya aap
@Anurag-hr6eq This is very true, but if I want to build a brand with 9-10 outlets and not just a small business with some 2-3 outlets, it is difficult.

I am surprised to see that no one talks about cash flow and locking up of additional funds due to GST. In addition, there is a burden of interest on the additional funds if the fund is raised through loans. High GST rates of 18% and more have affected cash flow, with monthly filings locking up funds upfront. Delayed payments from customer further exacerbate the situation (generally payment terms are 2 to 3 months, in addition the customer can delay payments further). VAT was 5% for majority products before GST but the high GST lock up the funds and hence the cash flow is highly impacted. The businesses needs to file GST every month and lock up their funds. Even if they miss twice, they will not be able to generate eway bill and they face consequences. But if the Govt needs to refund GST, it is a very complex process!
The business cycle involves conducting trade or business transactions where parties agree on payments. Government regulations typically don't dictate specific time frames for payments or billing. If someone struggles to recover funds or offers extensive credit, it's their responsibility. Moreover, if filings are done monthly, it allows for availing Input Tax Credit (ITC) regularly, thus easing the financial burden.

Answering question asked at 11:00 My dad runs a small manufacturing factory in Greater Mumbai area. GST made his life much better. The tax system prior to GST was extremely complicated and unfair. Although his business is located outside Mumbai, majority of his orders come from Mumbai. And there used to be Octroi, Sales Tax, some additional duty just to bring an item into Mumbai. GST greatly simplified this plethora of taxation. Moreover sometimes he needs to bring an item temporarily for testing purposes and not for sales. In pre-GST era a non-refundable octroi would be levied twice (to bring the item in Mumbai and bring back the item outside of Mumbai) which is extremely unfair. GST eliminated this.

Rahul Gandhi should become a chief minister first then he should talk about bureaucracy and implementation of government schemes.Congress Party's repeated choice of Rahul Gandhi as the face for 2024 elections echoes their 2014 & 2019 strategies. This lack of fresh leadership alternatives in Indian opposition weakens democracy. BJP's unopposed rise highlights the need for change beyond familial loyalty.

@Titas20059 Of course, the rhetoric about 'dictatorship' is all exaggerated screeching for not being competitive enough to BJP, but it's also important to recognise the harms of authoritarianism of any form, especially when the constitutional institutions are allegedly misused for party's gain, I know it's been happening since day one, but still questioning and raising voice is important.

There are various other important reasons for unemployment- 1. Huge Population- India's youth population and population in general is on record breaking scale. 2. Unskilled youth- Most of the youth in their college prime time is busy on reels and distractions. There is only handful of students who train themselves to get placed and face competition in the market. 3. Inflation- It's the worldwide wave currently, companies laying off employees on large extent. 4. Exams- Many among the unemployed youth are not seeking job, many of them are preparing for various exams, be it govt exams, forces, cat, gate, etc. 5. Delays- As soon as industries and companies will start getting easy and early permits to clear the required paperwork, sooner will the work began and will provide employment.
Quality of education many have gained is absolutely garbage, the grasp of English or engineering is unemployable. This has been mentioned many times by top companies. Once higher education is taken they will only do job inside office or wait for government sector which is not sustainable
Rightly put and promising jobs to an overly increasing population is setting up very high expectations. In reality there are many other factors including the ones you noted Govt. should take care of and work accordingly.
i totally agree with You , ill like to add that we will not be able to do anything concrete on employment front in this times as AI is doing jobs of 10 people and simultaneously populating is booming, people are living long. Untill and unless we decrease our population in Net terms this will keep happening no matter the Gov in power. I do not have data to suggest but i feel Around 100cr is a good population threshold for india.
We also need to consider that a lot of new gig jobs were created because of internet penetration. No matter how it's perceived but jobs created by logistics companies, quick commerce, 2w and 4w cab drivers, food delivery apps, content creators, editors, animators and and all the micro businesses which popped up due to the internet. But all of these do not come in the radar of conventional employment measuring frameworks. Most of these guys are making better money then entry level jobs at IT Giants. But yes, the problem with these jobs is they may not have long term career paths laid out. But that's a second tier problem. They do put food on the table.
In short :- Unemployment Taxation (Sir pointed his point) GST (Sir pointed his point) Exports (down in terms of percentage of GDP) Well fare scheme point (not proper spending) Democracy (destroyed) Internal issue (Manipur) Though I am a BJP supporter, but I also agree that Unemployment is an issue as well as internal security is also need to be worked. Naxals are also a major issue in central Indian region. As always great delivery Ganesh!! Thanks to you and your team’s efforts!!! This was a good opportunity to understand where the govt is not concentrating and what as a citizens of India should demand from a govt, no matter which party comes to power. Unemployment is seriously worrisome, I think it’s directly linked to lack of (expected) investments which in itself is a result of difficulties surrounding land acquisition and ease of doing business (which you’ve nicely covered in one of your videos). Whilst BJP may be trying to address these issues, the end result says otherwise. I saw a video on Congress manifesto and their promise to address unemployment problem, but what is not clear is how they plan to do that, most of the things mentioned in that manifesto felt heavy on the expenditure side without any economic return. If you plan to do more political series, an episode on decoding manifestos of both the national parties would be great!!

Until now, not a single leader from AAP has been punished by the court, so why are Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal, and Satyendra Jain in jail?

Point is you need to be smart against competition and understand business properly - easily said than done. Make in India is also working. I can see many phone manufacturers manufacturing in India. Electronics slowly is gathering pace with Boat, etc. So the process is slow I agree, but we need to be patient.
The problem with the opposition is that no one even believes them now..... Obviously, they cannot admit defeat so they have to say something and desperately hope that it will stick....

For your question i can answer Yes, GST made business taxes simpler.
I don't know about the mindset of small business, startups and MSME owners. I work as a finance executive in a IT startup in Bengaluru. I am responsible to file taxes and have filed for many companies as freelancer for small companies.
The owners say that GST have made the tax payment simpler eliminating coruuption and complex network.
Many people are happy with GST . Its useful for small business.
This is good that both parties are providing atleast data based information. Thank you for decoding it .
Dear Think School, I think while discussing such topics, we need to discuss
1. Scams made by UPA Government that ate all the common people money
2. Foreign Relationships improved by NDA Government which avoided war and made our lives peaceful
3. India is moving to self reliant phase, by increasing young entrepreneurs
4. Which section or community of the country has more unemployment. Because, one popular community has no control on population increase and if they claim unemployment, it is wrong.
5. Unemployment should be analyzed with respect to the population growth. Indian population increased drastrically in the past 10 years.
On top of it, the merit people are suffering because of reservation.. The reservation must be given only based on financial status not based on caste or religion.. This is the reason, merit people are leaving country for the sake of survival.. but all political parties ready to provide reservations based on caste/religion especially congress is in front line.

GST is actually great for me as a proprietor. I can claim the ITC for my purchase and get goods for a cheaper rate when I buy for my business needs.
Aur milk ke alawa kuch inward supply nahi lete ?
@Anurag-hr6eq This is very true, but if I want to build a brand with 9-10 outlets and not just a small business with some 2-3 outlets, it is difficult.
@Anurag-hr6eq sir aur inward supply hai but tab bhi I did my calculations on a rough book for over 2 months, and the above mentioned were my findings

No I think you can file GST Return Monthly, Quarterly, Half-yearly or Yearly as per the size of your business

My dad runs a small manufacturing factory in Greater Mumbai area.
GST eliminated this.

there is NO requirement for being a CM to become the PM , we had PMs before who didn't serve as CM. moreover he involved heavily in UPA 1 and 2.
He is not even good enough to retain a historical seat of congress , amethi , he lost it to an outside like smriti Irani.
Already Rahul Gandhi has put Congress government in Karnataka and we are very happy with new government ❤❤
If this is dictatorship then modi is not enough dictatorship we need more of it 😢

1. What specific data sources or methodologies were used by Congress to calculate the unemployment figures? Are there any alternative estimates or perspectives on the unemployment situation?
2. While the video mentions tax burden falling disproportionately on the middle and lower classes, what is the rationale or justification provided by the government for the current tax structure? Are there any plans to address income inequality?
3. Regarding the 'Make in India' initiative, what are the specific challenges faced by businesses in terms of ease of doing business and land acquisition? What steps is the government taking to address these issues?
4. For the underspending on welfare schemes, are there any reasons provided by the government for the underutilization of allocated funds? What are the bottlenecks or implementation challenges?
5. On the alleged misuse of investigative agencies, are there any specific cases or instances cited in the black paper? How does the government respond to these allegations?

7. Are there any independent or non-partisan sources that corroborate or contradict the claims made in the black paper?
8. What are the counterarguments or rebuttals provided by the BJP or the government in response to the criticisms raised in the black paper?
9. Are there any alternative policy measures or solutions proposed in the black paper to address the issues highlighted?

Ajit Pawar: PM Modi himself said that he is involved in a scam of 7,00,00,00,00,000 CR ( remember the Modi dialogue of "" Chaki piising and pissing"") and ED was investigating him but as soon as he joined BJP his case was moved under the rug, No Progress has been made since then
Ajit Pawar : scam of 840 cr ( BJP made a huge deal about it ) CBI was investigating but as soon as he joined BJP his file was closed
Hemant Biswa: scam of Agricultural land and Irrigation but he joined BJP and was made CM
23/25 Opposite leaders (who joined BJP recently) got clean chit or no investigation got stopped from ED CBI
Every party uses Gov. Machinery against opposition but under Modi ji 95% of ED cases are against opposition leaders with conviction % of ~ 0.6%
83 MLAs of BJP Have serious criminal cases against them highest among all parties
The problem with the BJP is that they think people are fools ( some are) that's why they hide data and use Hindu Muslim to divert attention
BJP target AAP over freebies but they are also giving free ration to 80 cr people meanwhile they claim that poverty has declined in India to only 12% so why give ration to more than 50% of the population either the poverty data is fake or this is rewdi
Congress is no saint either but They are not in power BJP is
Great job and worth listening to every line. Good luck
There are various other important reasons for unemployment-
Due to COVID-19. also lots of companies closed, so that lost their jobs
In short :-
Unemployment
Taxation (Sir pointed his point)
GST (Sir pointed his point)
Exports (down in terms of percentage of GDP)
Well fare scheme point (not proper spending)
Democracy (destroyed)
Internal issue (Manipur)
Though I am a BJP supporter, but I also agree that Unemployment is an issue as well as internal security is also need to be worked. Naxals are also a major issue in central Indian region.
Edit: The two things I had mentioned in second paragraph is what I felt genuine, rest I am just telling what was there in Video, I don't fully agree with them as there is other picture of logic also exist in it.
😂😂
If we go by the video, you are dumb for saying democracy has been destroyed - as the video says 😂
You guys don't know what freedom and democracy is, kindly visit china, there the govt will decide how much child you should have, people can't own a land only they can lease, private sector had always risk of shut down by govt which leads to massive umployment, if you have enough skills you will be employed
I am not defending anyone but--
Unemployment - Exponential rise in population, post COVID and multiple wars causing economic slowdown in world, and AI which is taking over jobs across the world
2) Taxes- just see the comments section of GST is good or bad
Nice to see that think school believes that Soch does a commendable job when it comes to explaining the political situation of India. All I know is that the lifestyle of a common man in urban cities has grown significantly in the past 10 years. Just for example, the number of cars middle-class people are purchasing and the stylish model of the cars that car brands are launching in India is a thing that no one can deny.
Yes, the present government hasn't performed well in some sectors, but the overall economic growth is significant, and many sectors have grown significantly for example, Aviation, Automobile, Marine Industry, Telecommunication and many more.

As always great delivery Ganesh!! Thanks to you and your team’s efforts!!!
I always wanted to understand two-sided perspective to make a conscious decision, but when what we watch is mostly dictated by algorithms, it gets difficult.
As a nation, our journey has just begin. We have to do a lot of hard work to develop our nation, improve the condition of our people.
The Modi government policies and achievements make us hopeful about bright future of our country. We got to see immence infrastructure development, record breaking investment in key sectors like chip manufacturing, EVs, green energy. Who could think that one day we would manufacture Semiconductor chips and I Phones. Our exports has been multiplied, agriculture sector is continuosly growing. We have made millions of people come out of poverty,
There is nothing wrong in choosing Narendra Modi for third time. 😊❤❤
Have you seen the data . In the shown manufacturing share in GDP has decreased and about your comments journey has began - it's to build nation so in 70 years nothing was done our country would be like sirya not India. Please come out of your Bubble and see things rationally.
Because of us we want job only Not to become entrepreneur
Either you are a bot/IT cell because you can't understand what I said above. Check the data we have 50 years minimum household savings. Education inflation is at more then 10% per year. Medical Inflation is more then 10%.Retail inflation is at peak. We are really doomed.

it’s not GST which made our life difficult, but per say the regular amendments.
For small business owners like us it is not possible to have a very equipped accounts team, we have to rely on our CA ( who works part time ).
Moreover when we saw couple of CA’s fighter over the effect of an amendment, this exacerbated our concern.
If the community dealing directly with it is not clear how small business owners such as us can understand this.
For example. I have heard many people being slapped with fine for delayed filing of GSTR9.
Fines have been served for not filing GSTR9 of 2017 in 2023.
Without any notice in the years in between.
