I first started trying to play the piano back in 1968, and for all these years, I have been a very bad beginner. Earlier this year, my son, who is a musical genius, taught me how to play the main part of Let It Be, and this weekend we were going to work on the intro. A few minutes ago, I found this video, and you have boiled it down into exactly what I need to do to play the song, and after giving your tips a try, for the first time in all these many years, I feel like I can actually play the piano. Thank you so much for this video.
Brilliant, thankyou for posting these, I did the lady madonna tutorial a while back and could play inside a week, I can play chopin but it takes me six months or more to learn a piece from scratch, this is such a breath of fresh air, thankyou
That's it! Forget all other tutorials or sheet music. And don't forget to watch his INTRO lesson on Let it be! I have some guitar background and want to learn this song on piano. Other tutorials did not sound original. If I will not learn it perfect, this tutorial shows the right direction and makes fun to practice.
Great video as always… you might want to double check but I believe that the first C of the song is played by Paul with C E G and an extra C at the octave which gives it an extra dimension closer to the actual record
I've always wanted to play this song since i was a little boy and now i played it last week at the end of my first show and it was brilliant! thank you sir!
can't wait to try this. seen a few tutorials and although I can't read music I have a musical ear. heard a few versions that just were not quite right. You version sounds spot on. I'll post back in a few weeks once I've learned it.
Thank you so much! I thought that this song was going to be so hard because it uses so many fingers, but your lessons are amazing! I picked up the intro in just two days and now I'm hoping to pick up the rest of the song. :)
Yes Paul plays another of his clever arrangements here; as in almost all other Beatles songs the guys tended to move the basetrack away from the frequencies occupied by the solos (they almost surely learned this by George Martin as all Beatles arrangements are conceived this way). In this case also Paul goes to a uppper register for the solo. As an example you can start with your thumb on C4 and go up with the triade of the chords with the other fingers and start from there you improvisation.
Fantastic video thank you so much for your hard work ! I've had to re learn a few piano parts from you to get them absolutely correct as I learned them from pianojohn 113. Keep up the good work it is much appreciated !
I really like the Videos you're making and I appreciate how accuarte you transcribe every part. Can you help figuring out what chord the piano plays instead of Am in the last verse? I'm really having trouble hearing it out, maybe you already know. It would be such a relief for me.
Excellent video tutorial Galeazzo, thank you very much for sharing it. Could you make some tutorial about the real interpretation of imagine, thank you very much
I learned this song by listening to it but even then it's hard to differentiate the various chords and how they're played lol. This helped to clarify things and make it sound better
Hello, how many C chords are you supposed to play in the transition between the verse and chorus, for instance, is it like two normal ones and then one with a b bass?
Hi...Thanks so much for these wonderful tutorials. I'm a guitar player with limited keyboard ability, but your lessons have helped me so much. Any chance you could do Martha My Dear? I'd love to see how to handle it. Keep up the great work, and continued success with your music.
Love your tutorials you got serious talent!!! One thing though. He’s definitely playing “2nd position” C major at intro (E, G, C) instead of the first position that you’re playing. You can hear the C above middle C clearly. Anyone else hear this?
I see what you mean the F sharp ghost note, this is only in the introduction (see other video) in the version I used at least but anyway it's a matter of interpretation you can pply it wherever you want! :)
Great job! Nice tutorial! Thank you!!! Now if I could just find one of yours on "Feels Like Home To Me" (Chantal's arrangement), I'd be thrilled beyond belief. Such a beautiful song but only one lousy tutorial found so far. Please help me out! :-)
Gale, I think you missed a note in the bassline when it switches from C to G, I think it goes C C C C F G G G G..... What do you think? Love the channel!
Great teaching, but can you go a little slower and separate the RH/LH parts first and then put together? I have to keep stopping the vid to first learn the separate hands and then to put together. THANK YOU!! You and your bandmates are great musicians!
This is great, but can you post the sheet music as you have performed Paul's actual version? I ask because I have two books with Let it Be in them, but they do not match what you are playing. You must have a great ear for notes. I always wondered why it didn't sound right when I was playing it. Makes me wonder who transcribed it in the first place. JJ
Thank you very, very much for this tutorial!! I really appreciate it! Just one question: Are you sure that the fast move from the F# to the G (left hand) which occurs in the intro twice does not occur in the verses and chorus?
Galeazzo, I have watched dozens of your videos and have been thoroughly impressed by your talents with each and every one, but this is the first video that has left me disappointed. Near the end of Let It Be (around 02:58 on at least one version I referenced), when Paul sings "Mother Mary" he flubs and plays a chord unique unto that song, and I was desperately hoping you'd have included it here. I will be concluding this post with a request, but I would first like to thank you for all your hard work and selflessness, sharing very faithful and focused Beatles recreations for posterity. But if you are reading this, please can you help to identify that "mystery" chord for the nutters like me who feel performing the song wouldn't be the same without it? Thanks again.
Dude, which one of the three Let it Bes are you talking about? Let it Be, Past Masters or Naked? Because in the last one the first chord includes the high C, isn't it? Thank you very much for your help.
in the intro, when you play the octave you play the high and low notes at the same time with the right hand, and then alternatve the higher note with the right hand chord. in the verse. you don't hit both octave notes at the same time, you only hit the lower first, then alternate the higher octave note and the right hand. should i play it like that or just like the introduction? thanks
the beginning of PART 1 a little different from INTRO although they are resembling the introduction of the same song. For example, in INTRO right hand plays 4 notes at the same time (C, E, G, next C) whereas in PART 1 you miss 'next C'.
@@TheBeatlesVocalHarmony There actually is tho lol, buried in the mix. In the begining, and a few parts in the song, then at the break down, "woke up fell out of bed dragged a comb across my head" the piano line walks nall that" after that whole part where john sings theres a whole piano part lol
THESE BEATLES LESSONS MAY END! PLEASE DONATE TO KEEP THEM ALIVE!: ➡ goo.gl/ldPTmk

Bravissimo! Grazie mille per questa lezione!
Gracias Maestro !!...Se escucha Maravilloso el Piano..!
thank you man, You are the only one that did a tutorial with the right version
Please, do some like playing all the way, so we can sing along with it and more. Please. You did it perfect!! Please, Bambino!!
Nice piano tutorial! I think this is the best one for Let It be on youtube. Next one could be The Long And Winding Road. Both are beautiful songs.
I've always wanted to play this song since i was a little boy and now i played it last week at the end of my first show and it was brilliant! thank you sir!
I liked your different camera angle in this lesson. very nice.
The best tutorial videos from The Beatles!!!! Keep it going, you're awesome!!!! :D
Big hug from Ecuador!!! So nice!
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Wonderful lesson, as always!
excellent tutorial Galleazo! thank you!
Nice to meet you in Phx this week. Great lesson, as always...
Brother!!! You really are the best one!!!!
This man keeps it real🍻
I'm hitting a low A with my pinkie on the left hand. It's just a part of the octave movement I explain at the beginning of the video.
Thank You so much for this.

Really. Thank you for this. Second song I'll be learning from you.
You should do a tutorial on how to play "Real Love" take #4, which is just john and his piano singing this beautiful song! :)

Would be perfect if you could provide sheet music
+Justin Craddock No need, just hear and play and it comes normally
Justin Craddock and perhaps coffee.
Very very good job ! You are the best. How about some Elton John in the future
I think you are terrific and look forward to all your uploads.
So easy to learn, and so good, thanks
Love this guy

Yes, definitely on the original recording. None of the tutorials seem to have this right, and it is such a fundamental part of the sound.
Clear as a bell on the original. c major triad in 1st inversion.
Fantastic! Thank you!!!
Thanks for tutorial
Will do!

SteamWorksTutorials Grazie!
SteamWorksTutorials
same! lol
Thanks for the tutoríal.
Thank You !!!
Sweet :), just getting confirmation!
Do you think you could do "Pauls Piano Piece" from Let it be? that would be awesome!
I'm a little confused. Is the first part of this video all of the verses and then is the second part the chorus?
This is great, but can you post the sheet music as you have performed Paul's actual version? I ask because I have two books with Let it Be in them, but they do not match what you are playing. Depends on the modd of the moent one is like the other.. nothing changes just do as you feel better.
Do you have the sheet music you use for the entire song? If so, can you send it to me. Thanks.
This is great! Thank You
great. have you got a sheet music for this song?
i love your video
Thanks!

Aaand he is Italian! sei un grande! ti stimo! Xd
Very good
Hey, thank you. Is it available in sheet music?
i love it!

@mfische1 Hi I don't hear this one under the singing but you can do it if you prefer. Just is simpler not to play it when singing.
Does playing it like this hold up as a stand alone piano song? To sing the lyrics with?
I rewound it 6 times just to hear him saw his name xD
Grazie mille sarebbe possibile in italiano?
the beginning of PART 1 a little different from INTRO although they are resembling the introduction of the same song. For example, in INTRO right hand plays 4 notes at the same time (C, E, G, next C) whereas in PART 1 you miss 'next C'.
Can you teach how to play A Day In The Life please ?? Thanks
Hi there are no harmonies in ADITL :)
I mean in piano
@@TheBeatlesVocalHarmony There actually is tho lol, buried in the mix. In the begining, and a few parts in the song, then at the break down, "woke up fell out of bed dragged a comb across my head" the piano line walks nall that" after that whole part where john sings theres a whole piano part lol

Galeazzo make the imagine in piano
actually when paul plays live it is more of the first version
I will make a tut on this sure.
Me to
you are italian? you are cool!
Listen to paul's left hand. Its a little bit diferent. Just a detail
I dont think this is exact spot on ether but is is very close
solo ora ho capito quanto è difficile imparare un pezzo al pianoforte avendo solo un tutorial a disposizione😂😂
This is in the intro only Sir.
