You´re gifted and very generous, as true musicians often are. Thank you to post these magnific tutorials, you're giving a great contribution to music itself, and all people who really love music.
It really makes you appreciate that thirteen-year-old that did the song at Abbey Road Studios about six years ago. The crowd was singing along. And security wouldn't let him finish.
You are the best thing that has ever happened to Beatle fans who want to understand and learn their music --- and you are the best thing on you tube. Thank you for sharing your excellent grasp of music and your tireless effort to provide many songs. I look forward to each one you do -- and force my band mates to learn a few of them so as to sing better harmony.
Really terrific, Galeazzo. I'm a guitarist with a little keyboard experience but no formal training. Your instructions are excellent. You break things down into their pieces and that makes things VERY clear. Great job. Now...practice, practice, practice!!!
There are actually three rhythm variations in each progression of the verse. The right hand varies slightly each time on the A chord, so three variations every time the verse comes around. The three variations are differentiated by the timing of the mashed c and c#, which are never actually played together but slightly separated, by different amounts each repetition. And the left hand plays a grace C on only the first of the three repetitions. The key to getting it to sound right is getting the right timing on each of the variations of the flat third.
Excellent tutorial. I like how you take each part slowly and repeat it. Some other UA-cam videos show animated DAWs that simply go by too fast to pick up and learn.
Gale please!!! Upload more Beatles or Wings piano tutorials! For example "Carry that weight" "Golden slumbers" "Listen to what the man said" "You gave the answer" "live and let die"... You are the best teacher, please listen to my prayers :(
Oh my goodness, thanks so much for your videos!! I have read sheet music all my life and it still takes me quite awhile to figure things out by ear. I have rehearsals starting next month for a December Beatles tribute and need to spend time practicing rather than figuring everything out by ear. This is a HUGE help (and as you know, the piano sheet music printed for these songs is not what would actually be played with a live band!)
Absolutely amazing thank you so much like really all these other tutorials just doesn’t sound right and is easy and not the original but u have done none of those things and have brought us accurate tutorial thank you truely thank you us Beatles fans can finally get a glimpse of there sound for ourselves LEGEND U ARE LEGEND❤
yeh i finally got it. i did it by singing with each hand, thinking on the left, then one note at a time i would add in the right hand and keep going from there. breaking it down piece by piece. wish these videos had notes on screen tho. thanks!
Oh my God. so glad I have found this channel! I've saved let it be and lady Madonna, two of my favourite Beatles songs. if it wasn't 12.30am I would downstairs learning this now!
thank you i had learned it long ago but without the trip note, made all the difference, one more to my ears i will is played in e position capo at first fret
Thank you italian guy. Your lessons are very helpful for players like me that have a little understanding of the instrument..Greetings from Brasil, Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, home city of Clube Atletico Mineiro, o Galo, Ronaldinho Gaucho´s team!GALO!
Sei un grande. Grazie ai tuoi video mi sono divertito un sacco a fare un sacco di esperimenti corali. E questo video mi ha permesso di imparare in maniera semplice e veloce questa gran canzone. Grazie mille!
When I say Paul in concert in 2009 in Tulsa OK, he used this for his sound check. I was having dinner in the BOK center near the stage. It had to be him playing. My friends and I couldn't hear ourselves talk, so we asked the waiter to tell the pianist to hold it down a little. He stopped after a while.
Great tutorial as always. In the first part of the middle-8, I always descend on the G an octave up. So, D, C, B, A, G (octave up) F, E, D...into the second part of the middle-8. However, maybe I'm just playing the bassist's part there!
I love this version of Lady Madonna as your great hearing has picked up the subtleties of the song. These lessons are great but they have more meaning if we could the piano sheet music of your arrangement! Can the sheet music ever be purchased from you as I know many would purchase it. Dr Rick James Davis
Wow thank you so much for this video, before watching it I knew how to play the beginning of the song just with listening the song, but now I know how to play the entire song thanks to you :) Really really good !!
Hi, Someone gave me the link to your video. You are just awesome; I learned to play to introduction to the wonderful Lady Madonna song in only half an hour. Thanks to you ! you're awesome. I'm going to check other of your videos and keep up the work ! It really helps !
Pretty sure the electric piano on that one is Billy Preston, same as Get Back. He was more of a technically adept keyboard player so this might be harder to learn note for note, for some people.
great lesson learned it with some practice you did a great job breaking that down, any chance your going to put of back in the ussr same lesson plan as lady madonna thank you very much
I do the same thing but learned the song from sheet music years ago. Had two Beatles books back then, Milton Okun hardcover and a paperback 2 volume set with a graphic of gift wrapping (maybe one red, one green?) on the covers. Have to listen to the record to see if the piano just stays on the G. This guy is probably right, he's obviously studied the records in detail for the piano parts. But if you are not playing with a band and there's no bass player to fill it in....
Well would you look at that here I am going by the Sheet Music from The Beatles Complete Score and you just come along and make it sound more like the record then the supposed ultimate source of Beatles transcriptions. Oh well this is defenitely the best version I found on UA-cam or anywhere else. Thank You

Love the piano in any of Beatles songs. I have no piano but enjoy the learning.

By far the best tutorials on UA-cam
I'm japanese but your tutorial is a most kind explanation for me! thank you!

Besides GF's excellent advice, I can add that one thing that works for me is to practice the left hand until it starts playing on autopilot.
Thanks a lot for these piano tutorials I wouldn’t have a clue how to play these otherwise 🙂

Just found this one. Great tutorial. I've always wanted to play this. You make it so easy to learn. Thanks a lot.🙂
If I'm gonna have a daughter, I would surely make her to learn this awesome masterpiece from Paul.
Long live the beatles and their legacy.

I've managed to learn the introduction parts separately but Christ is it a bugger trying to play them together! I'd get thrown out of a saloon.
Thank you for this!! I had only sort of "approximated" this piece before, and you helped me bring in all the clarity and details I was missing
I don't play piano but I absolutely love watching this
thank you so much! no one else gets the exact version! you're very talented! :)

Grazie glad being of help :)
Great lesson Thank you!
Damn.... i really like how Paul plays this live.... im really struggling to get the rhythm...
