That first demo riff track was definitely sprinkled with some heavily inspired 90's pop punk tastiness. Me likey amigo! (insert Grizzly Adams nodding GIF here) High Five! lol!
Well Brother, you might want to get on the pre order list, I've been waiting 2 months + and still nothing?! It seem mostly influencer's are getting them first,,,
Did you get it ? I'm left handed too and I been wanting one of these for a long time now, never had a humbucker guitar, is it worth it? (In my country there's only a standard model lefty)
I have mostly Fender single coil or Gretsch sparkly 'tron style guitars, so mostly just really clean to bluesey overdrive kind of stuff. Been looking into getting a dual humbucker guitar for when I do play more higher gain stuff, and I'm torn between the new Revstars and the new Sterling Stingray SR50. Both seem to meet my needs for a similar price range.
I work at a music shop I got one for a present and I gotta say best intonation I ever had on a guitar it’s so crispy and plays like butter it’s perfect
Just stumbling across this line of Yamaha. I'm just a Hobbyist Newbie. I spend lots of time reviewing with online reviews and videos. Wow, this guitar appears to have it all. Hopefully I can afford one someday. 💗Love the Rally Stripes with the Green💗
There simply are NOT enough mass produced nice looking darker Green guitars available like this one these days, one must admit. Thank You YAMAHA for correcting this serious gear dilemma for us and you too Reverend.
For solid bodies, I'm mainly SG and Telecaster. Been thinking about getting a new solid body guitar and my friend let me try his Revstar with P90s. It was the previous edition and it was so fun to play. I was thinking about getting another SG or Tele, but the Revstar is now on that consideration list.
Really hope NAMM brings out some awesome stuff this year. I went to Summer NAMM in Nashville last year and it was a bit lackluster since a large majority of manufacturers weren't there due to covid.
British racing green with go faster stripes! Love it. I think i heard some small pops when you switched the focus. Do you think this would be a problem on a higher gain amp?
I see very few youtubers mention the bigger body but none mention how the new bigger body feels good/bad too big ect. So how does the new body feel and does it cause any issues?
Nice guitar man. Dig the sparkle but no stripe for me tho. I always get these mixed up with Reverend sensei. Love the way they both look. I wish Yamaha would do an new sg-sbg line.
Love these, the office price hike is a bit much but still insanely low relative to what you get. I'm getting one, but the first thing to happen is that mid-boost thing is getting gutted. There are lot more useful things to do with switching than sounding like you're performing at a jazz brunch in a submarine at the bottom of the ocean. I was shocked to discover I actually like the sound of the Fishman Fluence pickups, and after 30 years of playing I'm finally getting on the P90 train. That said, the hum they put out is just too much. Noiseless single coils just sound too different to me for my to use when I want a true singlecoil tone. Fortunately I don't have the same problem with P90s since the only experience I have with them is repairing guitar with them, so it's not like Fluence or noiseless will sound weird.
Other than the two stripes this is an awesome guitar. And like always you gave it a proper test run. Normally hate sparkle finishes but this one’s kinda growing on me
Fluf love the channel and vid, the yamaha is a great guitar...........but being played through 2 amps that run about $4000.00 each a bullet would sound decent lol.

High Five!
lol!
Yamaha make some incredible guitars. Under appreciated I think the demo song was money. One of my favs that you've written.
And I am beyond happy they make a lefty option in a Blue finish!!! That will be my next big guitar purchase.

I’ve got this same guitar! It really is a game changer. Just with the selectors I can get so many different tones out of it! Thank you Yamaha!
OK you got me, ordered the black version. Rock & Roll !!!
Sir how is the guitar now ?
5:30, The cleanest cleans fluffs ever cleaned!
The headstock is awesome , simple but with attitude ! Love this guitar

Get the yamaha! Sterlings are disappointing to me everyone I've talked to about em!
I'd say go with the Revstar definitely
I work at a music shop I got one for a present and I gotta say best intonation I ever had on a guitar it’s so crispy and plays like butter it’s perfect
cool guitar!! that green finish with the black pickguard is a chef's kiss
I got the P90 version in swift blue. The P90s absolutely SCREAM.
I love my guitar. Yamaha has totally killed it with this thing.
Sounds absolutely killer!!
Nice fiddle! One guitar I haven’t bought yet…I think you sold me! Thanks!
Love the sudden slap in the face in the second tone segment! Lol - I felt like Chris Rock
Man I love that Pop-Punk Full mix ♡

Really interested in these. Thanks for the demo!

I like the 2 stripes and the MOP inlays on the fret. CARBON RODS??????? Neck pick up sounds nice and warm. Me likey.
There are not enough great green finishes on guitars, but this is definitely one of them.
Cool looking guitar! Love that Green!
great demo song!!
love the shape and focus circuit
i wish they made the lefties in this green since its my favorite in the line up
Was that Noro by Brand New at 5:28 ? Almost sounds like it
I love the fact you have tested green one as I ordered the same ;)
These revstars are taking over the other social media guitarists. Lol. They’re pretty cool.
I've had a Yamaha BB734 bass for a year now. Instrument is outstanding. Really keen to try one of these, hopefully at NAMM.
Bought the same model in Matte Black with an active preamp last month. Incredible bass, definitely an underrated brand imo.
@@Ryplaysbass For basses they aren't underrated though, they are well known as the workings man bass. A lot of session bassists use Yamaha basses.
Really hope NAMM brings out some awesome stuff this year. I went to Summer NAMM in Nashville last year and it was a bit lackluster since a large majority of manufacturers weren't there due to covid.
The Yamaha cult got me recently when I picked up a 1995 RBX 250 bass for basically nothing. Plays better than my much more expensive instruments.
I love sparkly guitars, too!
I Love The RevStar Guitars!
I like that inlay…classy and a bit different.
I’m definitely loving this one!
Would you opt for this or the reverend Sensei RA? trying to decide between the two
Very cool guitar. That green is lovely as well.
Shipping department? I didn’t know riffs & beards LLC was so well organized 😝
Amazing tone
Triple pitch fork = quality 🤘🏽
Fluff busting out the hardcore riffs..
British racing green with go faster stripes! Love it.

Holy cow! Why's that bridge pickup nearly touching the strings?
I like the revstars. I have an RS320 that I'm in the process of modding to death, I want one of the new ones though.
dude, were you using a GoPro too to film or is it only my impression? :) looks really nice, if it was a GoPro I would think, "how the hell?"
I've been looking for a good 'out of the box' guitar for poppunk. This might be the ticket?
I so wanted one, but waiting 6-8 months is not my idea of gaining marketshare.....
I see very few youtubers mention the bigger body but none mention how the new bigger body feels good/bad too big ect. So how does the new body feel and does it cause any issues?
Any chance you'd be willing to revisit Railhammer Pickups in a review?
Made in japan or made in indonesia?
Nice guitar man. Dig the sparkle but no stripe for me tho. I always get these mixed up with Reverend sensei. Love the way they both look. I wish Yamaha would do an new sg-sbg line.
What’s Yamaha not good at? It looks beautiful, shape is not my type but that thing is nice
i wish they had made at least one in that release with a hipshot instead of t.o.m. bridge
I own the first gen of the RevStar and it's fab. I am very curious about the upgrades. Nice video.
It's a good guitar but the Yamaha sg is still my favourite haha

Damn, he done went 2000s pop punk on us
Very nice,

Fluff your pop punk is showing 😜
Classy
Looks kinda metal. Don't like the stripes though.
YAMAHA=山葉 whichi means "Mountain leaf" in Japanese.
At that price point you better hide my wallet
Why does it sound like the action is so low that it's choking out the sound? Not the first time of noticed this in revstar demos either
I wonder what the difference is in this and the pro? Discrimination done really say . Maybe one is not made in japan
Pro model is made in Japan. Standard and Element series from Indonesia.
I don't really see how this new line is an improvement. The only thing that the old ones needed was a little weight relief.
WTF is Stoner Rock?
