I have a couple of questions.
1) You get a delivery order, you get to the restaurant but the order isn't ready. How long do you have to wait? Would it be any different if you are supposed to go pickup another order after the 1st pickup? How long do you wait? Do you cancel that one and go for the next one? Do you cancel the next one and wait at the first place for as long as it takes?
2) How about when uber app sends you to a location, once you get there you contact the client and they tell you they don't know why the pin was set there, but they are actually over 10 minutes away. What do you do?
Please tell me I forgot to saved opportunities next week is long weekend I won’t get serge orders if that opportunity won’t save.last year I suffered a lot other drivers we’re having 3$ extra by delivery 2 orders i was not having that..please can u show me how to saved that..uber app said I didn’t saved any opportunities thats why I can’t get that opportunity..
So we dont need a pay card for deliveries? I drove for post mates and we had a pay card for the food.

When you live in a city that has literally no internet data, taking and uploading pictures of the food can take an hour. I just skip pictures. No issues after 800 trips.
They take me literal minutes sometimes (I have 5g Iphone!). I prefer that over getting a PIN number from a non-english speaking customer though.

This is the most amazing Uber Eats tutorial on the Internet.
I did Uber eats delivery and my first two orders were pick up from Walmart and deliver. Made 20 bucks that hour. DD is glitched it's fairly bad. But Uber was a surprise.

When you are talking and describing, it would be nice to point that thing on the screen as well. You were going too fast and what you showed was no in sync with what were on the screen.

In the city where I live, if you can get the address in with the delivered food photo, good luck to you! Almost every house has the address on the right side of the garage or gate with the entry way to the front door in the opposite manner, pain in the butt, lol~ Pretty informative video, wish I had seen it before I made my first delivery with UE recently since after I picked up the order it took me a while to figure out how to get to the customer & their address lol. I am good now though~

The initial "tip" is more akin to a bid for their offer's acceptance. If you accept a contract for specific amount, complete it, but the customer reduces or doesnt pay that amount, that is theft and breach of contract. However, if they increase it, yeah, that would be an extra tip apart from the agreed upon amount, and definitely thank them for that. I recommend getting screenshots of orders when accepting them, as a just in case so you dont get shafted.
That literally just happened to me and it’s my first time using Uber eats
It's also Fraudulent Inducement. You both are agreeing to a price, it's a *Contract* , and if they reduce or don't tip you, report them to your states Attorney Generals Office for Consumer Fraud. Seriously.
It's not just a Civil matter, it can also be a Criminal Offense. Stand up for yourself and for those who don't know what to do to protect themselves. Stand United.

I’ve been trying to sign up but it’s saying my vehicle registration is incorrect and doesn’t let me move past forward
The same thing happened to me. 4 times. I ended up scanning mine on my laptop instead of using the camera on my phone.@@whooislcc Keep your eye on the app because they didn't let me know when my background check was completed and when my registration was finally accepted. Set up your email in the app if you haven't already done that.

Thank you for doing this! I'm on day two and just 8 deliveries on a scooter/bike. I'd love to hear your opinion on how denying orders can affect/benefit a person. Despite Uber acknowledging my mode of transport, I get orders that are 3 miles away and then 1 mile beyond that. I got my A$$ kicked by hurrying to accept one. It's my fault for not respecting the time expected (Learning is FUN!) I took it in desperation after not accepting 3 in a row. Do you think they care? Can I deny stuff for an hour waiting for one near my home without repercussions? I appreciate you and your efforts.
HI - how do you find out the trip total mileage? When you're in the app does it show the trip total or only the distance to restaurant. From what I've understand it does not show distance to customers until you've clicked confirm pickup?

Great video, have watched this twice. Only been driving for two weeks and today I accidently hit "complete delivery" which took me to "take photo". Unfortunately I could not remember the suite number (it was an office building and it was the third dropoff of a Walmart order) and I could not figure out a way to go back to get the suite number or call/text the customer.

I hope Uber is stalking this, tried eats once, never will do it again. Uber rides are a bad enough funnel for gas stations, Uber eats is horrible. Two hours and I earned less than $10 on three orders. The whole time in a drive through line.
You don't need to wait on lines for pickup, businesses have a pickup location. The only time you need to use a drive thru is when the lobby is closed.
Dude don’t give up it was like that for me at first, it gets better, park in busy areas, drive by restaurants and go during peak hours. It’ll pick up

Is there a way to reduce data usage or should I use my car GPS (which I already pay for) as an alternative? I would love to hear your thoughts on phone data management.
Consider using this as an opportunity to get unlimited data as a tax write off.
New uber eats driver; when I navigate to the gray house icon on the map through the Uber app it wont let me finish the navigation when I get there. It says “drive to the pin” but the pin is inside the restaurant and it wont register.

I'd like to know if there is anyway to know if you are going to deliver to an apartment before accepting the order. I'm ok with doing a few during the day but at night I want no part of them. Bad numbering at most complexes.

i deliver on a motorcycle. is there a way to see the order before i accept it. i deliver in the AM and im worried there going to give me a dozen donuts in a box that i cant carry. or do i have to accept it then verify the items and cancel trip if need be?? THX 4 help!!

Um I have a question I'm thinking of doing uber eats with uber driver, if I get two orders from two different places, how do I switch on the app to the first order GPS destination route? Instead of the second one on my screen? Or am I a noon? Or is there no way, just an honest question
Trip Radars aren't first click gets it, all the drivers that click it are put into a pool and the best positioned driver gets it.
A question 🙏🏻 when a promotion comes up and you only need one more delivery to complete the extra earnings, but that one extra delivery won’t come up even after 40mins waiting; is that Uber’s algorithm to not you earn more?!

Working for Uber eats is BS. I was a food delivery driver from 2014-2019, and I used to make $25-30 /hr easily. I am now doing FLEX and usually make $30-35 per hour. Today I tried to deliver for Uber and could only make $62 for 4 hours delivery even though it was during Friday afternoon-rush time. Totally BS.

Does anyone deliver on a motorcycle? I tried my first day today and kept getting orders with drinks. Is there a filter for that or does anyone know a good way to deliver on a motorcycle? My first order spilled in my backpack and I tried customer service to try to get orders with no drinks but they’re from another country and don’t understand my question. Also the app drained my iPhone 14 pro battery almost all the way down in about 2 hours. Anyone know a solution to either of these?

How do you pay for the food when you pick it up from the restaurant? is it an automated system directly between UE and the Restaurant?
It’s prepaid by the customer through the Uber eats App, you are only picking up the order & delivering.
so the time stated is the estimated total time for pickup and delivery? I was thinking it mean when the food would be ready😂. oh goodness, glad I came here first.
I have been working as an ubereats driver for 6 years now and this app still has so many issues to resolve. Still no one cares. The best option is to become an uber app developer. You will have no fear of screwing it up between so many losers. Dream job you get paid for a lot I assume.

With ubereats the customer have up to an hour after they received the food to adjust the amount of the tip or keep it the same

If you are close by, it may be a good idea, but never drive a significant distance in hopes for deliveries.

Question…. Fist of all, I’m new to Uber eats, and I’m from the Victorville, Ca area. I watched your video and followed along on my Uber app. I clicked on “help”, then clicked “a guide to driving and delivering”, then clicked “receiving request”, but the only option in that window was “what is uberX share.” My question is, does that mean Uber eats is not available in my area or do I have to wait till all my background, license, insurance info is approved?

I sign up for Uber eats, everything seem okay first few weeks. then all of sudden i try to cash out option
To my debit card , i found uber had taken all my banking info off. i try to the info back on to cash out,
Would not let me.when i did try to every time a window pop up saying verify by my driver's license.
When i did it would state there is no account associated with this license , i was like WTF, so i called
support told them the problem " they have the worst support every make doordash look like a the best there ever was, so i went though every step with them telling uninstall, logout, then i talk to tech support same thing, then i talk to uber green light hub thinking okay they going to fix it, NO same thing, and worst everyone you talk to is overseas with loud noise in background can't hear what they saying on top of their accent. there is no USA customer service And i been going though this for almost a month now..And they send me the same messages or when i call ask me the same questions. and they have all the records there of what i have been going though. this was my main job since i was laid off some months back.they still have my money and every time they say okay you should be able to cash out, because i was finally able to add my debit card back -NO ALL I GET IS A MESSAGE "OUT SYSTEM IS EXPERIENCE ERROR TRY BACK IN FEW MINUTES" Then there is the payout date where the earnings suppose to transfer your payout to your card or bank, No my earnings was still in uber , it just said next payout still nothing. i'm beyond pissed it's like they trying to keep my money , a few times i called and they hung up on me, Are they trying to keep my money to split up where they work at in India ?as unclaimed money? why i can't speak to someone who will once and for all fix this, they keep passing me back and forth or to other supervisors. no help. is anyone out there going though same thing ? please let me let's get together and file a claim PLEASE I'm thinking of doing a video on this..
