Theater of the Absurd is defined as a mixture of humor and despair that conveys a powerlessness of the spoken word. The audience finding this situation humorous is an indication that the performers have played their roles exceedingly well. The audience finds the play humorous because of the implication of unspoken, mutual loathing amongst theoretical friends. Well done.
Beckett spent more time worrying about the composition of Come and Go than of almost any of his other stage works, despite it being less than 200 words long. Have some respect!
This is beyond belief --- no adherence to Beckett's intentions. The production makes the play look like a fifth rate Grease. If you ain't gonna do the play, don't do the play.
@@lesbocurse jarbus this interpretation should get paid for going against the intentions, themes, and staging that beckett wanted. they have turned it to some fuckin girl group ting for no reason
Where are the hats? We shouldn't be seeing their eyes or faces.

there is no point in being an elitist. calm down.
If Samuel Beckett were alive, and was informed of this ghastly so-called production, he would close it down faster than you can come and go. SHAME
The audience should not be chuckling. That's a big hint that YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.

This travesty should be removed!
