I had a fan going in the background and it was late so I had to talk a bit quietly. There is nothing wrong with my mic, I have a Blue Snowball. But thanks for checking this video out.

@@sneakyguy then you need to find a better time to record and to mitigate background noise, dude
whether the mic is the problem or not, the audio is shit and that gets in the way of the video
you definitely have some good elements here tho!
firstly, you've clearly written at least a partial script. thats a huge step up from a lot of people starting out. Your delivery could use work but maybe thats to do with the same issues as your audio, I wont know til ive seen more
you do a pretty good job of showcasing the mod! good use of action poses and flying camera to get detailed shots instead of just spinning the 3rd-person view
I recommend integrating the detail and gameplay tho. your detail comes off as overlong and the gameplay feels a bit meandering.
aside from that, work on tightening up your delivery and you could have something here!
oh, one last note, the intro is a drag. you're putting in stuff that would be better placed in a channel trailer video or at least the outro, keep things on track "hey welcome to the show, we got mods, if you want more of my stuff visit the channel, lets do the thing"

@@BlackstoneMASK While I appreciate the some of the compliments, I don't appreciate some of the unfair criticism.
This video is literally the exception when it comes to my audio, if you saw my last mod review before this you would hear a difference in audio quality.
I really don't feel like I need to explain myself but if I must, it happened to be a warmer night when recording so I had 2 fans running, sorry if I don't want to be sweating my face off.
As for my delivery, that's something I've been working on improving and it's been going well. As for including gameplay testing of the weapons, that's just my style and I've actually been trying to shorten those parts so that just proves you wrong and that I have been working on my delivery.
And another thing, I usually am right to the point with the intro but this time I had to announce an introduction to other forms of content just so my viewers are aware of my upcoming streaming and let's play content. Otherwise I would've done a quick 20-30 second intro.
While I do appreciate criticism when its fair, I feel like most of the points you brought up weren't warranted. But thank you for checking out my video.

@@sneakyguy my dude, literally every point i address is fair
Lets start with the intro: You're asking people to stick around for other content before delivering the content they clicked to view. A subscribe call-to-action is usually something you can get away with in a short intro, but stopping to say "hey im gonna do X and Y as well!" is, again, a drag when you need to focus on getting your audience's attention. If you have a one-off announcement, the best place for it is at the end, with maybe a "stick around for this announcement" line in the intro.
Now, the audio: if your audio is bad in one video and thats the only video the audience sees, your channel has bad audio in their mind. You gotta take steps to ensure you dont HAVE the problem or say "the audio is bad here, pls forgive" and hope thats enough to get your potential viewer to try your other videos.
No one asked you to explain yourself and no one said you cant have fans running, what i DID say was "find a better time to record" and "mitigate background noise"
If you have extra noise, you have to find a way to compensate.
      Now, the "proving me wrong"
I never said you WERENT working on delivery. I said it needs work. So *rambothumbsup.jpg* keep working.
I also fail to see how you admitting you're trying to shorten the gameplay segments proves my criticism unfair, if anything it shows that you AGREE with me. If you saw nothing wrong with the segments you wouldnt be altering them "your style" or not.
Thing is man, im not telling you any of this to be mean, im telling you how you can improve, how you can turn this fundamentally competent video into a great channel. So chill out with the defensiveness cuz these are not mean comments.

@@BlackstoneMASK I don't need anyone's help improving my videos, I've gotten by just fine for 2 years now figuring out the ins and outs of doing youtube videos and doing my research without anybody else's say.
Also I'm not the first nor am I the last to shoutout other content that I'm doing within the intro of the video which like I said is normally 20-30 seconds. I should be allowed to say "hey i'm also gonna be streaming later and so and so" without getting criticized for it. My channel, my rules, and so forth.
Until you start recording these which takes hours, writing FULL scripts not partial scripts, editing which also takes hours if not days, and figuring out a catchy thumbnail/title, all of which have taken a lot of experience to improve, then you can start telling me how to improve these things. Until then I'm not gonna hear it.
I've honestly never seen such lengthy comments going over everything I'm doing and nitpicking everything someone thinks I'm doing wrong. It feels like I'm at a bad job being micromanaged. My goodness if I'm that bad then would I really have gotten as far as I have?
I have my ups and downs just like everybody else on this platform and if I have an off day where maybe I don't get the audio just right, or I make the intro a little longer, or I drag the gameplay on a little bit, then it just is what it is. No youtuber is perfect, even the huge youtubers.
As for the gameplay I was already shortening up the gameplay for more than a few videos now, long before your comment on it. That's what happens with video styles, they adapt, change and evolve over time the same with my recording/editing style.
I'm honestly not trying to be defensive but it's hard not to be on the internet, it's good to have boundaries on what you think is being overly critical and what is being a normal level of critical.
But that's all besides the point, I think this conversation has been a drag to be quite honest. So I'll leave it at this.
