Chris Magee Music - Fantasy on THAXTED

THAXTED is a beloved hymn based on the main theme from the "Jupiter" movement from "The Planets" of Gustav Holst (1874-1934). This Chris Magee arrangement for brass quintet, organ and percussion is bookended by the opening and closing to Jupiter, then the hymn is presented in three verses. Fantasy on THAXTED will be a great addition to your sacred program, and it is also a great choice as a postlude or special music selection for church services.
