Jameson Bow Street 18 Year Old:

- Today we drive into a whiskey we'd be missed when it first came around. The Jameson Bow Street 18. A cast strength Jameson 18 year old that's priced about the same as the 40% and now newly updated 46%. This is batch 1/2022 and comes in at 56.1%. The cask maturation is a opaque background but useful finishing "our finest distilled & laid down...finished in first fill bourbon casks".

Such a great whiskey.
Thanks for the review! Jameson 18 is now being bottled at 46%. Haven’t seen it in US yet but not really looked for it.
AND non chill filtered on the new 46%, but it seems unnecessary as long as this is around and only a few bucks more.
The new 46% is in the US. It’s a great improvement on the 40%.
Nice review, congrats on 3k. Hope you’re having a great weekend. 👊
Thanks! Tell Marty I said hi
dang, I'll have to try that out. Didn't know they went to cask strength on this one.
Solid review.
I picked up the regular Jameson 18 at $120 but the cask strength dropped when I was on a business trip and sold out in a few days. Urgh was $168 too
The cask strength version is an impressive deal. How are you liking the regular 18?
I have batch 1 of the 2018, first year available I believe. Nice review! The medallion that came with it fits perfectly on the top of a glencairn glass.
Nice! Never considered the Glen topper. Thank you!
Interesting, have to try this😋
That Bunna 30 looked nice!
IDL does use artificial color for some things unfortunately. Great Review! I love Bow Street. Vanilla bomb! Kinda like a glazed donut. The only other Jameson I keep on my shelf is Jameson Single Pot Still.
Have to keep an eye out on the pot still.
Sounds so good! The triple distilling didn't seem to hurt this one. But no Irish Car Bombs in the review??
If mike will get the creamer, I'll bring to the jameo!
Haven't tried that one yet, but seems I have to, Cheers !
Cheers Greg
Yum
Ireland : spicy whisky, bland food
Just joking ofcourse 🙃
I would love to visit sometime. If I had to pick just one city, what would be your recommendation?
