Wait, Blueghost playing Ronin and not Northstar? *That's illegal.* Jokes aside, if you actually wanna know how to play Ronin, I'm here to help you guys. As you know, Ronin has a base health 7500 HP (12 500 EHP including doomed health and batt shield). This makes him have the lowest HP pool (Shared with Northstar) and has the highest amount of default dashes (2, shared with Northstar) and increased base speed. Also, his melee is replaced with an unnoticable giant-ass sword, which has increased damage, longer melee hitbox, but lower knockback and longer "cooldown". Also, now we talk about abilities and his primary weapon. The Leadwall is the most underrated weapon, it has a magazine capacity of 4 and each shot shoots 8 pellets which does 100 titan damage per one pellet, and 1200 titan damage if all pellets hit crits. It is by far, the best titan weapon if used correctly. Arc wave is an ability that deals 1000 titan damage (1500 if Sword Core is online), slows targets to crouch speed, and you guessed it, deletes Ion's vortex shield and Tone's Particle Wall, but most people don't know that Arc wave can also freeze northstar's ascent of her hover, so say goodbye to the pesky hovering northstar deleting your titan. Phase shift is a meh ability, only being used as a last resort to escape or reload your leadwall safely. Now, Sword Block. *Oh my god the Sword Block.* This damn defensive ability is the bane of all people if they wanna try to destroy your Ronin. Why? This ability literally blocks 70% of all incoming damage, 85/90% if core is activated, and has no cooldown and infinite durability. Basically, this thing can increase Ronin's EHP (In theory), to up to 41666 HP. That health is 4 times higher than a Superior Chassis Monarch. Of course, the ability slows you down to crouch speed and render your offensive abilities and your melee and weapon useless, but it is a great sacrifice to be made, and you need to learn how to use it in order to know how to play Ronin. Now, for Ronin's core. Oh boy, the Sword Core is the best core. I already mentioned it increases the already high 70% damage blocked to 85/90% and increases Arc wave's titan damage to 1500 instead of 1000, but I haven't even mentioned the best part of it. Sword Core slashes increases melee damage to 2500 titan damage. (This is one bar of health. I might be wrong if its 2500, but the dps is still insanely high even if 2500 isnt the answer.) The Sword Core essentially gives you a reason to use the big broadsword, and decreases the cooldown of dashes, and it is Titanfall 1's Damage Core and Dash Core combined, creating the best titan core in the game, surpassing Flight Core. Titan kits are your preference, but I highly suggest Overcore Thunderstorm, or Overcore Temporal Phase, and I highly suggest that you guys should not use Nuke Eject, Stealth Auto Eject, Highlander (Highlander is better on Frontier Defense), and Phase Reflex. (All of the information here is taken from Titanfall 2's best Titan player, Dinorush13, who has never lost an PC LTS Tournament ever. I am merely a "student" of his.) I'm not here bitching around saying that you shouldn't just spam melee. No, I'm here to let the more unfortunate Ronin mains learn on how to play the hardest and most rewarding titan in the entire game. Besides, playing Ronin while just spamming the melee button is funny, and watching Blueghost, a Northstar main playing with his G100 Ronin and spamming melee is funnier. Well one, when using ronin, his healthpool is most important. Stay away from legion in scorch as sword block wont do much. 2 use sword block until the enemy has to reload. Then murder them. 3, don't pop sword core against a scorch or legion. You gotta pop it, run behind up behind them without them noticing, then kill them. And dont do it as doomed. Look at the reply.
When I play ronin I shoot 2 shots arcwave then shoot the last 2 and then arcwave again ( I run the kit that can make you able to do 2 arcwave) and then just swish swish stab until they eject or I get a termination
the funniest thing i always do to ronins is beating them with my titan melee and that gives me the greatest feeling of power you cant believe its so mad when ronin gets close and i start whacking them so hard they get so confuse lmao and they just get destroyed
I was playing Ronin and was dominating the enemy team. At the end of the match I received a message from a dude on the enemy team telling me to stop playing Ronin and that this game is dead. I then proceeded to tell him to piss off and that the game isn't dead. Got a warning for swearing from Sony lol (I don't always play Ronin btw)
Ronin with 3 dashes is basically cyber bullying when you’re up close fighting a Legion. It’s like the heavy in TF2, strafe around them and they basically cant do shit.
Blue: Equips Cold War Me: Yes! Blue: Starts complaining about it and it's weaknesses Me: *Noooooo* Also, try using gravstar and ordinance expert while using CW. It's an interesting experience. With cold war you also want to be higher than your opponents all the time. You can still win if you're not, but you want to be higher or above them constantly. You you can still get plenty of kills not doing that, but the shots from the burst tend to stay together better when you're above your target, and so your opponents die in one burst more often.
The real way to play ronin is extra dash and thunderstorm, more mobility and more of your strongest move, also use extra battery for extra shield for more heath, fixes all of the flaws of ronin as best as you can

How are there little to no ai units in your game? Is it bc you play on console? On pc theres no point to have a minimap bc the matches are full with minions

Ronin is so stupid, 360° sword block that can block electric smoke, AND NUKE EJECTS. Not to mention him having more health than orge class titans (if you hold sword block) and even more health if he has his core Sword block reduces ALL damage in 360s° by 75%. And its 90% reduction with sword core active

This is my exact loadout except cloak switched for grapple
