I enjoy your Dir en grey reactions very much. Kyo actually does pretty much everything without any additional effects during lives. But he loves to experiment with his voice and effects in his second band Sukekiyo. One thing that I found intriguing about Dir En Grey is that they do not shy away from changing up and just plainly remaking their older songs. Unraveling EP is made of 1 original and 6 remakes from which you heard the one called Macabre. Interestingly, since I heard Macabre remake before the original, I could not believe how they added just 6 whole minutes to an already very great song.. :D

11:00 probably because, 1- they are very unconventional, 2- no "catchy choruses" or "poppy songs", 3- they're Japanese and sing in Japanese
