My first games for a while though, so many cool new units (or overpowered cheesy ones when my opponent picks them).
I'll wait seven years for when it isn't in Early Access.

But these dudes play a dying mod for a dying game and their chat has no moderators, not even bots I think lol. I've played it a few times and like 90% of people are chill but the 10% are so unironically degenerate that I thought they were joking around at first, like trying to be ironic or something. But no, truly just subhumans

It is a good game, stopped playing it after the freeunits you get in rounds, but they toned that down a little and it is ALOT better now.
Got the game yesterday. Fantastic fun
One tip, don't upgrade everything every round. Getting more units is usually better. Only do an upgrade if you know you need it for that unit because it's hitting something important. If the upgraded unit is just going to die anyways then you are just feeding xp
Anyone else mald over game three giant spec to show off giants and no then no giants?
The ultimate mind-game to mess with opponent.
Does Fortress shield, stack with the giant shield? or...is it just the stronger shield? does it make the damage 2x because its TWO SHIELDS at the same extension?

The Typhoon is OP as hell with its sheild upgrade. And the anti air upgrade. I take the Typhoon whenever I get the chance. Have had them straight win games for me

Yes, you get melting points in it. Great big mechs with a sorta dish on em that fires a giant laser. Or several smaller but still very sizeable lasers.

What’s your variety channel called?
I know it's inherently not supposed to since it's an auto battler, but it would be really cool if there were some units that you command to use an ability at the right time, or just something simple like that. Looks fun, and I will definitely be giving it a try later.

Yeah. To be honest, I kinda dove in head first to this games info. I'm still not good enough to even beat the hard AI, but it's still pretty addicting. Lmao
@@itranscendencei7964 don't bother with the Ai. Jump into the ladder, it's the best way to learn
I've been thinking about it. I just wanted to at least be able to beat the hard AI before jumping in. There's just so much to learn, and I keep finding myself in scenarios where I just have no idea what to do for unit counters, unit synergies, or positioning. So basically everything. Lol
@@itranscendencei7964 Still. Playing Vs Human will only be better. I would also suggest watching top playes play and watch a few videos about placement

why have a slow melee unit (Rhino) all the way in the back line?
Rhinos are actually pretty fast. Putting them at the back instead of at the immediate front lets them walk in later and not get focused by everything at once when the round starts.
@@RHINO_Mk_II I don't know this game, but he did have the Rhino way far back. For a melee unit, that sounds bad.
@@_Wai_Wai_ You don't want all your units to enter fight at the same time. If your Rhino arrives late and you have killed the opponent's anti Rhino units it can work wonders. You can also have rhinos in the front of course
@@felixbeaudouin1899 everyone has these general rules that "you should do this, shouldn't do that" but the fact is, if you don't engage all your units, you run the risk of your guys getting picked off piecemeal. But the short answer is, "it depends".

Reminds me of a pc game named MAX
Game was pretty good at launch but the balance was totally fucked and every game was the same couple of things vs the same couple of things. The game loses alot of its charm the more serious you take it and your options and fun diminish. Havent played it since the players base took a hit and I see its changed quite a bit. I might give it another try but my suspicion is that its going to be the same issues with different units
The balance is pretty great right now imo
I think the random unit cards are meant to help address that.
But you can still definitely feel that some units absolutely dominate in the right situation.

The free units in between rounds killed this game for me. Played like 80-100 hours of the game and loved it till that patch. Felt to much like a get outa jail free card most games. Fun game if youre super casual tho
the choices are rather randomized and are supposed to dictate the match though.. It s like Starcraft 2 - get 30 free ghosts and the zerg just chooses not to - but complains.
@seventyfour8256 complaints like ive just kicked this person's ass for 6 or so rounds then he gets a random lvl 7-9 unit that completely changes the game. Yeah thats never frustrating or game breaking at all
