Definitely hear a big difference when you used the separation to where it isolated your highs mids and lowes. Definitely a good plugin. The only thing i dont think they make the AUv3 plugins yet but im definitely going check ✔️
This is a nice plugin. Very similar to other ones in the market. But I wouldn't apply it on low frequencies. It can create an inconsistent low end. It's ok process the mid and high range though.
What still isn't clear is what Equator exactly is removing, ''certain frequencies'' is not something that i like to get removed, maybe I want them to stay in the song.. Maybe this plugin is a bit too much for a Mix bus or Master bus?? I do however like the fact that it can carve out the vocal on instruments or the mix to make the Vocal sit better in the mix, same goes for the Low end if you need the Bassguitar to be carved out for the Kick drum. See, you could remove the harshness of certain tracks, the plugin must choose what to remove by what it is told to remove, that is the A.I. aspect of it, A.I. can not do these things by itself, So i would be awesome if you guys at Waves could add presets for certain if not all instruments and let people learn what Equator will remove. Obviously not all songs are the same, due to uniqueness but more so because of Genré....So when put on the Master bus or Mix bus this will act as a multiband compressor, that is what people obviously need the most, since many of them can not hear the Low end very well due to cheap speakers, untreated room and inability to mix well...
It's all about "resonance"... When a frequency is resonating and peaking above other frequencies, THAT is what curves is listening for... You can tweak it to remove or keep any frequencies you want, just like any other dynamic EQ. There's obviously more to it but presets would kind of defeat the idea of 'learning" the curve of what you're feeding it.
I now just realized that this plugin came out! I got it here, and I'll definitely be using it in a future video to come! :D
I like the first record. Thanks for the video sir.
Really helpful intro to what looks and sounds like a great plug-in! Thank you!
Love your first tune. Second was sweet too.
Thanks for info. excellent job. I'm gonna get this plug in to help speed up some of the mastering I do.

Yea, this plugin is now a BIG part of my workflow... Definitely feels like you can still tweak a ton as well!
Your tunes are great, and love your vocals. Thanks for the great instruction and sharing your expertise!
Hey! Absolute pleasure. Thanks for stopping by!
Yoooo! That music is 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you fam!
are you using it on the vocal bus or on mastering channel?
Party on wayne!
Party on Garth!
Can this copy an EQ curve of a full mix or single track and apply it to other tracks or projects? Like Voxengo's Curve EQ?
Yes!
100%
A young Butch Vig?
Dope ❤❤❤
This sounds like much more useable version of gullfoss with more flexibility

Nah... I think you can dial it in pretty amazingly using the mulit-band and attack/ release settings.
Can anybody answer? If I already have Curves equator, do I still need FabFilter Pro EQ?
Yes bro you still need and eq.
Instead of fab filter grab that kirchoff eq from plugin alliance.
@ Okay, thanks man
get the tone boosters eq pro instead. way cheaper and actually a better plugin than pro q3

Yal make these joints look so cool. The last time I mixed with waves I butchered my project. I used to get amazing results with em tho. Tempting 😂
This one is pretty hard to screw up TBH... It's still creative as well, so you can tweak!
