Yea the Votagoo has more room for pieces of kit also because the case is taller. I like how innovated both of them are with the knife and other items built into the case that’s definitely different and cool to me. I modified a sol kit one time and had it in my backpack for a few years. It’s actually the one in the picture with the gravity hook and paracord lanyard
@@whitetailsurvival2430 the idea from Sol is great but it seems like votagoo stole the idea and made it better (just my option) and it gives room for us to be creative with. But I did just see the real steel video now, and that convinced me, that is gonna be my new kit, maybe I will add the votagoo kit in to expand the accessories to make it my ultimate kit for 3/4 of the year for my environment
@@TheRubenkj that’s a great idea the real steel kit is sweet I have another more advanced kit coming up that you can still buy right now it came in two days ago. It’s set up more like the Coghlans kit. It seems like there’s a lot of stuff in it. With both of those kits combined you have a pretty decent situation to stay a night or two in the woods. Toss in an extra space blanket or two or a rain poncho and you have a shelter. I love making and checking these kits out it’s awesome.
@@whitetailsurvival2430real steel seems pretty decent for the price. For me it’s gonna take more then two days, they have to send it over seas for me 😅 so far I have only made my own kits. Mostly because I feel so many companies gives you worthless items that look cool and are gimmicks but not worth its weight. I have also a few extra things to consider to add in the kit because of my environment. I live half way up a mountain surrounded by forest and have a short drive to the fjord, and I don’t feel any kit have what I need. But with real steel as a base I can add whatever extra I need for the kit to be superior for me.
I like the design of this. I just wish the space inside was a little larger. It looks like less space than an altoids tin.

Yes for sure! I think that would be a cool investment. I would like to mess with one alittle and check out some of the programs
