@@scapegoat4 offtopic but other jcore artists aren't as good at catching atomosphere and accessibility/catchiness at the same time as katagiri, is either these atomospheric breakbeats/trance with no catchiness whatsoever that's kinda disengaging or repetitive speedcore tracks, katagiri tracks have so much layers, atomospheric but also catch asf, probably also because how well he uses billions of non chromatic samples on top of each other
@@RiRiRiPoks Yeah, I def agree his Jcore tracks are also far above the norm (for example, the 12th track on his 5th album, "かたぎりは電気狐の夢を見るか？"). But his "unique" tracks such as this one stand out so much more, they're practically screaming "LOOK AT THIS FUCKING CRAZY SHIT YO!!!" as loud as they can. And I cannot get enough of it, I'm a total addict.
for real, his best work is the perfect combination of having this extremely engaging and varied yet catchy arrangement of drums and percussions that goes hard asf while also having an engrossing atmosphere or intensity. like I really love a lot of his mashcore work too but songs like this, kyuukou, silly-willy-nilly, that one empty title song he put on soundcloud recently, even lynu in a way, etc etc. are on a whole other level. maybe its really specific, but this itch in my brain for rhythms like this.. there's nothing else better!!
