@@Domeena I'm pretty sure it's a joke, since his label (miso-nicomi) is staunchly against people downloading songs, probably due to the Japanese being pretty hardcore against p*racy (this comment got auto-deleted if I don't censor the word... youtube...). Said label even posted recently about someone uploading their stuff to bandcamp, stating "we will NEVER do this", full stop. It's an incredibly alien mindset to anyone from the west, and definitely a cruel joke to anyone who doesn't know. Instead, they want us to scour fuckin JP ebay/ yahoo auctions and pay a fuckload for some rare CD that was only sold at a wonfes/ comiket/ M3 etc. multiple months/ years ago in limited quantities. Either that or go to the event yourself and buy it then (praying that they'll do a re-release), it's their way or the high way. So, I just join a discord server where people rip doujin music and get a rip of the CD there/ wait 1-4 months for said rip to show up on slsk and not pay a dime. I'd LOVE to suppot katagiri for all the the sheer happiness he's given me, but I don't have a CD player, I don't have the space nor do I want to pay like $40 in shipping every single time (thanks, Canada...). Point is, it's a stupid mindset since yoinking tracks will happen regardless so long as there's an interested party that can't support the artist directly in any way due to their location, etc. But oh well, "coming soon" I guess...
4:07 I hate hard renaissance type drops because how random the melody are, but this one is so good. Katagiri is so consistent with his more melodic drops unlike other japan edm artists.
