the purple and black and nice. Not too shiny and not too bland/minimal. Also I'd like to see your input on the Night Oblivion Butastur iem if you ever get the chance to come across one.
This is late and may never get seen, but what makes 64 Audio great is the APEX system that keeps pressure from doing damage to your ears. It also can be tuned to your preference regarding bass frequency response. Everyone who judges this off a 15 min. listen cannot appreciate this.
Never tried a 64Audio iem but I hold them in high regard, if not only because at the start of my journey, I was researching a lot of iems and had their iems popping up a lot
Radius HP-DME eartips are the only tips that are comfortable for me with 64 audio universal iems. Had to get them from Japan. Every other tip either doesn't seal or allows the nozzle to press against the side of my ear canal.
While sampling Portugal. The Man, you said, "...the way the treble has sort of shaped her voice...". Her is actually a he, John Gourley, lead vocalist and guitarist for the group. Great review of the Volur, but definitely not on my bucket list. Ouch.
@@Ancient88Wisdom nope ..and before you ask , yes, in balanced with Hart Audio Cable, plugged into a Bryston BHA-1 Headphone Amplifier..now the weak spot ( tho not really ) is the Topping E50 ( again in balanced) … Now to get them to work and fix that GD 4k drop ..Lokius to the rescue…but still neutered IMHO .
I love your impressions/reviews. A+++. But your taste in music........ yuck. LOL I loved my Nio, which led me to the Trio, which is currently the best IEM (for my taste) that I have heard. I look forward to trying these at CanJam this weekend! (see you there?)
Man the fact, the thing is insanely priced, hundreds is a bit to much, over a thou is nuts. When you know how iem world evolves, that in 3 or 4 years the same stuff will be at a third its price, or even less, makes it an easy pass. There are so many awesome options to enjoy in the meantime, and will be relevant when more of a rightful price, or maybe even skip it altogether by that time.
Thats factually untrue. The u12t is still above the $1000 bracket by majority of peoples opinion and that 6 years old. People just earn more than you, stop projecting.
@enjoshi-godrez8775 Yea for the most part. Though there are some headphones that punch against a lot of 64 Audio products but they held the longest due to their internal tech with not needing tubes as well as being able to use their modules to change tuning on the fly. Though if someone can replicate what they can do much cheaper they're in trouble. If....
After owning a number of headphones in kilobuck and multi-kilobuck range I agree. The community get sold into the idea that expensive is better and that they have to have the best. There is so much expectation bias that users then validate their purchases. This is true for the headphone community as it is for the speaker world where people are buying $$$$ interconnects. If you want a basshead set, you can get a 7Hz Legato with nice build, case and smooth presentation for $100. An even better value would be the KB Ear Rosefinch for $20 that has similar bass quality but more presence of its FR. Of course audiophile types will scoff at these low-cost iems, as it goes against their biases. And if you really want proper bass, you aren't going to get it just from headphones. You'll buy a SubPac to go with your IEM/headphone and get true bass impact and subbass that you can actually feel on your body.
Not a big fan of what this channel has become. Can't even tell what type of video this is, or the product or company name from the title and thumbnail. It's just filled with clickbait instead. Earned an unsub.
First Josh Volur collab looks to be a good one.
The Nio is my favorite IEM of all time. I would love to try these, but not for that price.
I like this style of reviewing. Keep it up. It is terrifically informative. Appreciate this. Thank you.
This’ll make the buy-o-holics angry 😂
Really curious how they would stack against the U12T in an extensive comparison.

The Katatonia sample was an unexpected surprise. One of my favorite bands.
Dethroned and uncrowned is a terrific album. Check out the dvd audio edition of that album. Terrific quality.
Guys.. he smiled

Your view is so good with sounds of the headphones.
The purple colour alone makes me want it, so hopefully they're not discouraged. Price is way off for me though.
Hi Resolve, can you show us what your current dac/amp setup is?
Or maybe do a video with everyone on the team showing what they use on the computer
3:18 The way he paused at the cable, I thought he was contemplating throwing it away, like "wtf is this shit"
2500?! Yikes, there goes my audio dream of listening to lossless 24bit Aeon - Masterpiece Of Emotions (Bombastic 12" Mix) out the window

Great review, as always!
Thanks Resolve. I take it that you were joshing about it being a collab. 🤔
Collab? No this isn't a collab haha.

I think you can switch out the modules for a more neutral sound if you want
I wonder how these differs from U4S, which is also bassy and warmish.
How would this compare to the Legend X?
I HECKIN LOVE REVIEW PIGS

Is that a smile? It can't be!
Have you tried the Grand maestro?
which is better 64 VOLUR or ES maestro?
I'm REALLY surprised you pulled out Katatonia. I would have picked "Shifts," or "The Night Subscriber."
HE SMILED!
I'm curious if this is as bassy as their Fourte Noire
Hey, you smiled! it was brief, but I am sure I saw it
is it a $2500 kind of bass...
what is the best iem target?
Some version of DF + 10, but bass preferences seem to vary more with IEMs.
@@ResolveReviews which eq web page can use? that uses that tartget?
Katatonia ♥️

lol Joshua Volür 😭

what about symphonium crimson?!
Now that is such a good value iem, easily one of the best under $2k
I’m still trying to find that “slamming bass” on my LCDX …..without the Lokius 🧐
Oh, but do the autoeq it between 20-8000hz, don't go beyond.
You don't think the LCD-X slams?

I assume this is the 2021 model?
Dont be afraid of PEQ, use autoeq to adhere it to IEF(23), plug that into AP0 and all the issues of the LCDX will be fixed, I assure you.
