Did you know?
If you use the talisman that makes you invisible while crouched away from enemies, you can't be targeted. This also works with the other invisibility spell, and you can even use the new skull lantern ash of war to avoid the deathblight statues. I prefer the lantern.
You have now been educated. Now please stop dying to it, I can't tolerate watching any more hosts just getting death blighted time and time again, it's not even a hard catacomb.
You can also use mimic veil I believe to avoid the death blight from building up. Not as useful for when you're getting invaded obviously but if you're doing the catacomb alone it makes it much easier
I think like 80% of them don't even know what the deathblight status is or how it looks. They're just that clueless.
Where can i find the new skull lantern ash of war ?
@thedutywarlord264 It is found in the Lamenter's Gaol. It is in a room that is across from a gap that will be formed in the floor when you try to get to it. You'll need to find a hidden wall and also get a key to unlock the door behind it, which takes you to that room. The torch itself will have the ash built in.

in one of the gaol caverns, i found a cave corner that had messages saying "rolling required ahead, what joy" so i rolled at it, the entire world kept flashing in and out of existance, near epileptically, and the dungeon`s name kept loading as if i had just discovered it over and over again, until i rested at a grace. now that i remember the area name spazzing out, it was specifically in "bonny gaol" that this spot was located in

They are also probably somewhat inspired by winter lanterns from Bloodborne; an older game fromsoft made that came out in like 2015 I believe?
@@free_instructions2259 not somewhat but it's pretty much the same thing lmao. only difference is that they look a bit different and winter lanterns are easier to kill. these dudes (aging untouchables) cannot be damaged at all before you parry their wand attack - and the timing is weird and strict af.
but the dev messages in the area do say: "combat is not encouraged". it's supposed to be a stealth area
and it has nothing to do with lobotomy corp. Bloodborne came out 3 years before LC.

Edit: started with 2v2, but my phantom pointed down the first invader and I sent him home. After that, another invader arrived, making it 2v1, their favor. I had a cold lance, a Redmane Knight Greatshield, and access to order healing. Despite all the mist spam, I clutched against the first one and cured my way to the other. Definite high moment of the DLC for me.
