I have a problem installing it on my laptop. It says "Error 25001. No device is connected, Connect a device, and try again." But it appears on my laptop that my Yamaha P125 is connected the pc recognizes it and still i cant install the driver. What's the best should I do?

Hi, i fixed it, the midi software its not compatible with p 125, instead, i download the steinberg driver an it works, with midi and audio. I got it from the official yamaha page. Hope it helped.

Can i record audio of my own yamaha piano sound directly into my laptop using usb cable? When i record midi i get a signal. But when i want to record audio i don't get any signals. Any ideas?
You can not record directly from your yamaha to your laptop, But you can use one soundcard by output from yamaha to input of soundcard and USB port form soundcard to your laptop, this way work as well.

Hi, I have a Yamaha YPT 260 61-Key Portable Keyboard and I would like to connect to my laptop so that when I play it, it gets recorded into the Audacity software or another software (if you can recommend one!). Will this cable help? Do i need an interface or mixer to connect the keyboard and the laptop? or could I connect it directly via usb input in the laptop? thank you very much! Best, Soraia
You do not need this cable if you use Audcacity, you can use audio cable directly or you can use one Sound Interface is better by connect your Yamaha device to sound interface via audio cable and connect sound interface to your PC via USB Cable(this is the best way). You do need mixer. you can mix your recording later in Audacity by go to Effect of Audacity, Please enjoy
