Verna is pretty bad in crash test, no score yet and in a recent encounter traveling in highway, saw a Verna completely gone, front half.
Virtus wins in most….. Safety first , Comfort next and Features last…… Most of the people compromise safety for features…. VW’s Virtus has better high speed stability and that’s y suspension is stiffer… Owning VW polo… Planning for Virtus after huge comparisons…

i driven 170 in my skoda kushaq upto 150-155 there is highstability and no panics!! veralevel .......and at the same my old breeza at 130 it feels hopeless in cornerings!!

Note: brand reliability, long term durability, service and resale value make maruti suzuki is a winner...

I have 4th gen honda city ivtech. I'm getting 19 km/l in highway and 13 to 14km/l in city. so if you are going for hybrid car surely you will get more than 22km/l.

Vw provides multi collision breaking , electronic differential locking, brake disc wiping, electronic brake force distribution etc even from the base varient......which is not in city&verna
But volkswagen anytime breakdown.
Dsg failure, pump, mechatronic, bcm, catalytic converter, Clutch, no resale value.

Verna is a Toy car for the gadget lovers. Nothing much in terms of safety or driving
Virtus would be the choice for outright performance and handling while the Honda City will be for no fuss reliability, comfort and okish performance (when compared to 1.5L turbo Petrol Virtus)
Recent generation city build Is not as good and old ones brother. I have a type 2 and 2015 model but the build is a ?..lesser weight.

@@thameemulansari7247 True. Hyundai India has been caught putting better quality sheet metals for their Export models in the past. Even with all that their US models have some nasty fatality records for the numbers sold. Its a shame we do not get the accident numbers in India by the Car models. Only when manufactures like Maruti and Hyundai are named and shamed will they stop manufacturing coffins on wheels
for the suspension water test, VW Virtus lost more because of its stiffer suspension, Slavia would be a better choice if someone wants a European counter part instead of virtus
