I lost mine in winter 2022,,,,, love the tree,
They do well with protection around them, in a suntrap or north side of a pond so the heat can reflect onto them.
There are fabulous trees, I loved the clack, clack noise of the leaves when a gentle breeze blew.
Yes, all Eucalyptus benefit from Full sun on a south facing slope. Some protection against the Atlantic gales is also helpful, though I'm encouraged by the complete lack of wind burn on the one that survived 2022 ❄️

Aqui en Galicia crece muy bien,le.encantan las zonas humedas sin encharcamientos y crece bien en sombras,aunque el sol le gusta.Pero es esoecialmente sensible al viento

They are growing well here, but as you say, probably susceptible to the wind. I find they are OK in quite wet soil, but it is free draining here.

they are well known for their robust look though not fire tolerant unlike most of their relatives
They are one of those that are aided in their germination by fire.
Young Regnans forests are all about the same height, because they all germinate after a wild fire has passed through 😉
