Till now everything she made especially in the earlier years, are so purely art, i love her so much definitely so underrated love that i always come back to her after 10 Years :)
One of my favorite songs. Emilíana made something unique and singular here. So very beautifully strange and off-kilter. Follow it up with Millenia Nova: I'm Dead.
Maybe the best trip-hop song and best video ever. That's just sadness. between black humor and sadness, the definition of art. Everything around her is sad : old people, her stupid food, her stupid friend, this stupid place. She thinks she deserves so much better than all those dead things around her. She's bored and the only thing that can finally make her happy is the bingo, ahaha poor girl, she's so depressed ! Masterpiece.
I personally love this song, because is so true about what she says in "Dead Things". I just don't understand the meaning, on why this music video took place in a Bingo Game Room with older people and Emiliana playing Bingo. And why it shows her very excited at 1:56, when she thought she won bingo, and it keeps showing happier flash backs of her, as the music grew intense and serious. Don't understand why she did like that, but it's still a good music video. Don't hate it. LOVE IT.
i am literally laughing at how she is being so over dramatic when she is on the the stage singing :) her movements are too priceless!!! i love this song
is it possible to marry a song? a song is multifaceted when a tear rolls down and over a smile when bingo emulates life and bemusing disappointment giving you a cute chorus girl in pink, singing for her life about dead things
nah, after watching it a few times i think its perfect like it is. amazing job emiliana. this is currently sitting on the very top of my youtube playlist.
It's interesting; without the music video pairing the song mostly "just" sounds depressing, but together with the visuals the song almost seems to point to a sort of universal law or constant or balance or back and forth. Also with a kind of tongue in cheek twist on it though, like it's not to be taken completely serious
You're like me We're both alone What's the problem I don't know We're the same height The same eyes But you can't borrow my clothes all the time Bad things Dead things Sad things have to happen Sometimes I let the snow Melt in my mouth Until my head hurts Until I'm out Makes me laugh a bit Makes me cry Same way you confuse me all the time Bad things Dead things Sad things have to happen Bad things Dead things Sad things have to happen Bad things Dead things Sad things have to happen Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes
Man the production on this song just takes me to a totally different headspace, really crazy how good this particular song is
i used to love this song in 2000. a great remenbering from the trip hop music from the 90S. nowadays theres no music like this.
I reckon it's still there but it gets clumped with chill hop? Maybe?

Absolutely brilliant
This woman is ethereal.
This video hits all the right receptors.
The video is just genuis! .. A cross between David Lynch and Tarantino vibe
So unique. Of all the ideas you could have come up with for this song. Really a bit of subtle (and briefly not so subtle) brilliance.
Long time I haven't heard this song, still love the atmosphere... just something about it...
This is my favourite every year I will come back to this, hi!
Still one of my favorites. It's so beautiful... 🖤
Absolutely beautiful song. I wish Emiliana will come to Finland in the near future. I need to see this live...

She is awesome, favourite song of hers :)
who's the director? Lars Von Trier? it's like the Dogma productions!

Masterpiece.
MARTINEZ Lionel that's why I like reading comments. There's anyways someone who will explain everything 😃
Effectivement Un Must de them court
the song could also be a little bit about her boyfriend. She had a boyfriend that died in a car crash.
So there´s a sad thing for you there
OMG thank you
surely not the best
I love this song so much 💖

She sounds like bjork her music voice aesthetics must be Icelandic too
She is Icelandic too. Iceland is fantastic!

Her mother is from Iceland, her father is from Italy :)
She looks more Italian than Islandian XD

sad song, funny video
loved it!!
is it possible to marry a song?
a song is multifaceted
when a tear rolls down
and over a smile
when bingo emulates life
and bemusing disappointment
giving you a cute chorus girl
in pink, singing for her life
about dead things
getting a strong twin peaks vibe from this song tbh
Great show!

Très beau...
cool video man, I can dig this
Emiliana tu est une belle ame qui inspire l'humanité. Merci
me encanta
very cool video but wish it was just a full video of her playing bingo, looking up, and checking her cards.
nah, after watching it a few times i think its perfect like it is. amazing job emiliana. this is currently sitting on the very top of my youtube playlist.
Great song ! :)
She's half Icelandic.
But her father or mother ( I don't remember ) is from Ireland ( I think so.. )
no wonder her style reminds of that of Bjork.
