Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.
It's not just about Tim's incredible accuracy, because there are a number of accurate shooters out there. It's about his uncanny ability to anticipate what the animal is going to do, and literally react before it happens. He understands/predicts animal behavior better than any hunter I've ever seen. He plays 4D chess every time he hunts, and that's what makes him so phenomenal at what he does.

It’s even crazier when you realize he doesn’t use sights or a release which are almost needed on a compound bow due to how they’re designed
Tim Wells might actually be one of if not the greatest bow hunter of all time. I have recently been watching his videos and I am blown away. I consider myself a very accurate bow hunter. And I cannot hold a light to his candle. He makes these shots look routine. 125 yard elk shot, shooting these small steins at 40 yards plus moving. Oh yeah, he also hunts doves and fowl game with arrows. That alone in itself is more than 99.99 percent of us can say we can do. AND HE DOES IT WITH NO PEEP SIGHT OR A SIGHT PERIOD. My hats off to you MR WELLS!
He’s is top three bow hunters in the world the only one I know who is good as him is John Dudley who is a modern day Robin Hood 🏹

Tim has some preternatral ability with the bow.. How he hits moving targets, no sights, at night is beyond me.. I shot some nice bullseye groups today at 60 yards, but that's a target, under ideal circumstances.. How he hits moving things makes me think he's made some kind of deal with the devil to be that good..

Thing is,he would have to make his own spears,they can't take anything like that on the program.

I think you may be the greatest hunter of all time. I’ve never seen anything like the shots you make. Unless there’s a bunch of wounded game you’re not showing I can’t even comprehend how you could be that accurate on running targets at range in the dark. I get scared shooting past 30 with a bow.

I really want to get into bow hunting. I’ve shot guns all my life but something about archery is intriguing on a different level. I bought a cold steel blowgun but I’ve only killed mice with it so far.
i was thinking about buying a cold steel blowgun, is that shit fun to use?

2:33 Was that an arrow or a spear? Either way, I've never seen a literal instant kill with either like that! You could not get a more perfect shot even if you had X-Ray Vision and a laser gun.

Tim I love your channel always happy to see your kills. My birthday is this month and my brother bought me you blow gun I’ve put about 20 darts through it at at 12 yards I’m hitting but not consistent any tips would be great anything besides practice. Love the channel and great product 👍🏻
I started my practice, indoors during winter @ 5 yds then 20 ft (the longest distance i can really practice indoors)....now I have 3D targets set up in my yd - rat at 5 yds, squirrel at 10, rabbit @ 15....more enjoyable and I shoot better with better progress than on paper targets...I use Tim's rat darts for most practice....when i feel confident @ 15 yds I have a woodchuck 3D target I'll put at 20 yds...also, inspect the cups on the darts when ya pull them from packaging...any deformity, out of round, or "dinger" in the cup may be ok @ 5 yds but woefully inconsistent further out....i also "Robin Hood" a few every practice so I have about as many bags of replacement cups as I do darts stashed....also, in my experience, customer service thru Tim's website is EXCELLENT...
Currently have 2 members of state legislative body (1 State Senator and one Representative trying to figure out why small game hunting with blowguns is NOT allowed in Michigan....contact your state elected officials if use for hunting isn't allowed in your state
Also, for consistent dart launch and speed I really focus on taking the same deep inhalation and USE THE DIAPHRAGM to sharply exhale...otherwise consistency suffers which causes groups to increase in size
